Chapter 302 - The Vampyre Council
The Vampyre on the throne held a light smile as his gaze focused on the appearing figures of Noah and Prince Cassius. Around this wide and expansive Council Hall, there were multiple figures situated to the elevated platforms on the left and right sides that led towards the throne.
Each of these figures were letting out levels of power no less than the Void Rank, with a few even surpassing it!
"So this is the conundrum that even the little genius Cassius cannot solve?"
The Vampyre on the throne spoke in a playful tone as he gazed towards his son. This Vampyre could not be called old, and actually had the figure of a man in the prime of his life, seemingly in his early 40s at most. This appearance would fool many beings as the actual age of this one being ranged in the hundreds of years.
Prince Cassius moved forward, about to reply, when an immense aura suddenly shot forth from one of the elevated platforms and descended on Noah, a unique skill being cast that locked down space entirely!
This change of events was rapid as a booming voice of power erupted from the right side of the elevated platform.
"This issue can be solved right now. This unknown being observed our prince kill Celestial Disciples, and that is a dangerous knowledge that we cannot leave wandering outside this world. We should simply...kill!"
OOONG
Vibrations erupted out at the mention of these explosive words, Prince Cassius moving towards Noah as he looked up at the being speaking and replied with a grave tone.
"Count Shytus, anymore disrespect towards my guest and you will earn my displeasure!"
The Vampyre Prince’s words were not filled with as much power as the being that targeted Noah, but his body shone with a red glow as it forcefully caused the body of the one called Count Shytus to pull back, seemingly dominated by something else that was not just power!

Noah observed this as many thoughts about the Vampyres passed through his mind, the subject of extremely unique bloodlines that could pressure beings no matter their rank of power coming up.
Count Shytus pulled back his aura as he turned to the Vampyre on the throne and spoke out languidly.
"O Great King, we know the power of Celestials. Should we really be placing our lives and the lives of our people on a being we don’t even know the origins of, when we can just nip this in the bud right now?"
The words were filled with strength, gaining the agreement of a few other beings situated on the elevated platforms of the wide hall. Quietness permeated the hall as everyone looked towards the Vampyre on the throne, the playful expression never leaving this being’s face as he spoke towards Noah.
"So, human with unknown origins. Why don’t you tell us of your origins, and what exactly you wish to accomplish?"
Complete silence reigned the moment this question was asked, all the powerful auras focusing on the next set of words coming out from this newly appearing being’s mouth as it would decide where they stood on this very unpredictable issue.
The problem at hand for the Vampyres was that their prince had acted and killed the Celestial Disciples, and he was observed by an unknown being while doing this!
The Prince had mentioned the events thereafter when he and this being joined forces and even took down two more Celestial Disciples, which put a few old fogeys in a speculative mood, while others were still convinced and saw this as a grave threat. Because the moment that even the possibility of suspicion was thrown to the Pureblood Vampyres of the Underworld being enemies of the Celestials, it would be the complete eradication of all of them.
So when it came to the option of complete eradication of all of their forces, or simply killing the being holding extremely important information, it wasn’t even a question for a few of the powerful figures in this Vampyre Council!

They honed their gazes towards Noah as they awaited to find out exactly who this being was and what he wanted. All the while Prince Cassius was looking at his father with a questioning and confused expression, as this was not what they had discussed when he first relaid information about the being he met in the First Realm of Hell.
Noah’s heart was at ease as he felt the auras of multiple beings focus on him, knowing his preparations were more than enough for this venture he was about to take. He spoke out cautiously.
"I am Noah Osmont, and I come from a world that was impacted by the Celestials in the past, and I have been personally moving against them all this time. When I found that another force covertly existed in the dark that was moving against them as well, I had to come."
The words were neither overbearing nor servile, but it didn’t seem to have satiated the hungry Vampyres as the being on the throne spoke once more while nodding.
"What exactly do you hope to accomplish? Going through the information I could find about you- you are acting as a little genius of a sect in the World of Cultivation, with your power at the Saint Realm. A genius, sure, but extremely young. What do you want, and what could our side benefit from someone like you?"
The smiling expression remained on the face of the Vampyre King as he asked this dangerous question.
Noah turned towards Prince Cassius as he replied.
"I observed the unique skills displayed by the Prince that were extremely effective in dealing with the Celestial’s probing gazes, and I am in great need of such skills in the coming future."
"HMPH!"
A snort rang out as Count Shytus spoke out once again.
"You think a nobody would be given access to the forbidden skills of the Pureblood Vampyres?"
His tone was domineering and strong as he seemed offended by even the thought of this assertion! Noah moved his eyes towards the Vampyre on the Throne as he did not even look in another direction, knowing this being would be the key for his plans here today.
"This still does not answer the other half of my question- what can we gain from you?"
Quietness reigned in the Council Hall once more as a bright smile erupted from Noah.
"Your people must have seen the appearance of the Celestial Grandmaster near the end of the Infernal Hunt."
OONG!
Intense pressure from the seating Council members descended at the mention of the powerful figure, the Vampyre King still comfortably sitting on his throne as he nodded for Noah to continue.
"That Celestial Grandmaster saw great potential in the being that contributed greatly to the death of the Infernal Aberration, and has invited me...to join the ranks of Celestials."
A bright smile covered Noah’s face as he released information that only the Elders of the Profound Astral Sect knew at this moment!
RUMBLE!
The atmosphere in the room suddenly changed as the smile was wiped away from the playful Vampyre King, a destructive aura at the peak of Soul Forging Realm erupting out as a maddening pressure permeated and covered the entire Council Hall, extending to the entire Royal Castle soon after as a bloody world was instantly enacted and covered everything in its entirety!
