The Dagger of Time!

The Ultimate Treasure that the Devilish Time Unveiler used to be able to traverse the World of Cultivation free and unbound of worries!

Noah grasped it in his hands as the details of the dagger and its abilities came to full view. All of its abilities were greyed out as this was only the major part of the treasure, and it still needed its battery to be operated.

Nobody else knew this, but he actually held the other piece of the treasure, the [Sheath Regalia] that had been fully charged!

The Devilish TIme Unveiler felt the change as he looked down with a light smile. He snapped his fingers as the blood and gore around him dissolved into nothing, his gaze turning towards the last two remaining beings in the space he had set up.

"This is the part I actually like the most. When the little pieces on my boardgame start to think they might have victory within their grasp, and I still dash all of their hopes a second later...it is an experience very few get a chance to experience in their lifetimes."

He was arrogantly talking as he descended down. Noah observed this as he finally saw the effects of [Pride Manipulation] come into full effect, the arrogance of this being shooting through the roof as he pridefully looked down at them, knowing full well he could kill them whenever he wanted as they would not be able to use the treasure they got their hands on anyways.

But this would be the cause of his first loss after his resurrection!

"So now that you have your hands on my treasure, how do you think you’re getting out of this- Oh?"

Noah only needed a second, and the pride of the Devilish Time Unveiler provided this as he made a move, and it was a move that was not within any of the expectations of the other two beings left in the cavernous space.

Noah turned towards the heavily injured Celestial beside him whose eyes had regained a semblance of hope as they had gotten their hands on the treasure, but he was shocked at the next turn of events as saw a devouring darkness cover his eyesight.

The Ultimate skill, {Sin of Gluttony}, was used as Noah swallowed the Celestial in a single gulp, the action being so unexpected that even the Devilish Time Unveiler stopped in midair in surprise and then broke out laughing.

"Haha! Now, what is that going to accomplish? I’ve already recovered a major part of my power, preventing me from enjoying the gorgeous flesh of that little Celestial isn’t going to change it."

His strong and prideful words came out as Noah did not waste another second, making sure what needed to stay hidden would stay hidden until the last second as he moved the essence to initiate one of the abilities of the [Dagger of Time] as soon as two pieces connected.

"I want to thank you for this very painful lesson."

Only a light smile passed on the Devilish Time Unveiler’s face as he saw energy going into the dagger, his eyes turning into smiling crescents as he waited for the being in front of him to despair even more when they found out the treasure they had placed all their hopes on would not work for them, as it wasn’t currently complete!

He felt laughter welling up inside him as he watched with his head held high, when his expression adopted a complete change as something ridiculous played out in front of him.

Things seemed to be playing out in slow motion as the Devilish Time Unveiler saw two sets of events happen consecutively, with barely a millisecond delay in between. The being below him placed his energy into the dagger, and in the next instant, a purple glowing sheath he knew all too well appeared out of nowhere and swiftly covered the dagger, the two connecting seamlessly together as a brilliant white light erupted out.

Shock, confusion, and horror finally appeared on the face of the Devilish Time Unveiler for the first time as he collected all his power of Spacetime to finally act towards this now terrible enemy!

A sound as if something had closed rang out, the figure of the Devilish Time Unveiler that was erupting with gorgeous light coming to a stop, the light slowly receding into his body as his movements followed the same exact sequence they had taken prior, but in the opposite direction of time.

An ability of the [Dagger of Time], [Reversal], had been successfully initiated for the first time in the hands of Noah Osmont.

[Dagger of Time](Incomplete) :: A treasure unknown in history, with some calling it cursed for its world breaking abilities. It seems complete, but it has yet to reach the pinnacle of its power. The one fated to use it is bound to leave a mark in history. The activation of its wondrous abilities requires the use of the Sheath Regalia. Abilities include [Reversal], [Stop], [Insight].

[Reversal] :: The fabric of time is unwound as the wielder of the Dagger of Time is sent back through time. The amount of time is dependent on how much Time Essence the Sheath Regalia holds. This same ability cannot be used again within the same time period.

On this historic moment that very few will remember, the Dagger of Time had exchanged hands once again, this time being possessed by a budding individual from an unknown planet.

Noah’s heart beat wildly as the ride of emotions he had experienced for the first time today calmed down, gradually being replaced by the usual calmness, with the addition of other emotions he had not yet entertained in his life.

A gorgeous array of purple and gold colors wrapped around his body as he was the only observer that was watching and remembering as all the events that had occurred in the cavern they were in were rewound.

His gaze was shaken as he saw Barbatos’s head and limbs reattach onto her body, as the Emperor Penguin and Kraken fused back to the way they should be, as everything turned back to how it was.

The Spiritual Land that was split in two quickly reformed back together as the reversal of time seemed to get faster and faster. Noah watched all this as he continued to send the command of the [Reversal] ability to continue, closely watching as the blinding purple light on the sheath that was now covering the Dagger of Time was rapidly reducing at a speed visible to the n.a.k.e.d eye.

The reversal of time became even faster as Noah felt a phantom of his body rapidly travel back, from him entering the Treasure Abode, to him killing the Elder of Time Immemorial Sect, to his Pill Making in the Karmic Sect, to his encounter with the Sheath Regalia, and past his first entrance into the World of Cultivation.

The profoundly glowing purple energy continued to be depleted as Noah observed its final vestiges of energy being dried up, his out of body phantom gradually coming to a stop as it rushed down towards his body that was in a different time.

In the Demon World, not even a few hours after he had received the fealty of all the Demon Rulers, a figure of Noah that was about to begin training shook as a purple and gold light erupted out.

The light caused an eruption of essence around him as he regained his bearings and opened his eyes. He spent a few seconds adjusting as he looked down at his hands to observe the distinctly shining Dagger that was covered with a sheath. His eyes shone with a dangerous light as a turbulence of emotions fought to break out, but a cold light won in the end as his gaze turned cold and emotionless.

He had succeeded.
