Essentially this is several fights going on at once. To properly show the action, I'll be writing them in succession, even though they are not occurring that way. Rather than jumping back and forth, I feel this will make it easier to follow.

/Alpha:Nix: I'm on the Nether Elemental.

/Alpha: Shae: Fey and I will take the Air.

/Alpha: Ducky: I'll have Taro attack the Black Fire.

/Alpha: Vooni: I'm on Ducky's target.

/Alpha Chiba: That leaves Lightning for me and Rhy.

Nix has activated [Storm Rider][Thunderfist].

Combination Successful.

Nix appeared directly behind the Nether Elemental and punched him in the back of the head.

Lati'Ru has been stunned.

Lati'Ru has activated [Dark Escape][Nether Tendril].

Combination Successful.

Lati'Ru broke free of the stun effects, dozens of black tendrils streamed from his hands and extended out toward Nix.

Nix pushed Fury Flames into his aura and rushed through the tendrils, the black strands faded away when he touched them.

Nix is immune to Nether Damage.

A dozen Emerald strands wrapped around the dark mage, using both hands and all of his strength, Nix slammed his opponent onto the tiled floor; once, twice and then a third time.

Lati'Ru has been stunned.

Lati'Ru has been partially crippled.

Lati'Ru has entered a state of high vulnerability.

Nix has activated [Execution].

A flash of the sonic blade and the Nether Mage's head bounced away.

Lati'Ru has been slain.

/Alpha: Nix: My target is down, assisting Chiba.

Rhylia has activated [Null] [Vacuum].

Combination Successful.

The Lightning Elemental appeared in front of Rhylia, her translucent face showed her rage as she howled soundlessly.

Chiba used [Ghost Step] to flash toward her target, wielding both a gold and silver blade, she slashed twice with both in an 'X' pattern. [Double Strike]

Chiba has landed a critical hit.

Geli has activated [Storm Wash] [Flash Strike].

Combination Successful.

All controlling effects have been removed from Geli.

Chiba has blocked Flash Strike.

Rhylia has been injured by Flash Strike.

Chiba brushed the lightning bolt aside with her silver blade and then slashed across the legs of the fleeing Lightning mage.

Geli has been slowed by 30 percent.

Rhylia has cast [Air Force], a strong gust of wind sent Geli tumbling across the floor.

Chiba pursued the target using [Ghost Step], her silver blade flashed out and removed one of her opponent's hands while the other stabbed deep into her shoulder.

Geli has been crippled. (Left Hand)

Chiba has landed a critical hit on Geli.

Nix has followed up Chiba's attack with a critical strike.

Ducky ordered Taro to attack the Black Fire Mage, the cloaked figure raised both hands, one smoked like it was burning while the other bathed in shadow.

Taro has cast [Plague][Wither].

Combination Successful.

The Black Fire mage screamed in terror, hundreds of boils formed on his skin, expanding and rupturing. His hands and limbs started to twist obscenely, slowly shriveling like a balloon rapidly losing air.

Peugeot has been Infected with a Plague.

Puegeot's ailment has been accelerated.

Vooni was in the middle of charging in, instead, she skidded to a stop and raised her shield.

/Alpha: Vooni: The boss is a Pestilence Mage.

Taro as cast. [Vermin Wave].

Hundreds of Black rats appeared out of nowhere and attacked Peugeot, his agonizing screams marked his struggle as they completely overran him. The horrified screeching finally stopped when his throat was torn out.

Vooni backed out of melee range and waited while Black Fire mage was ravaged by his leader.

Peugeot has been slain.

Shae ignited her aura and was on the Air Elemental in a flash. Purposefully Fey held back while the Salamander Archon pursued the winged Air elemental. Shae carried a flaming blade in one hand while flinging comet strike at her target again and again.

/Alpha: Fey: NW corner...

/Alpha: Shae: Aye.

Hueli the Air Nemesis knew she was overmatched, her only chance was to keep her air shield active until one of her teammates could come to her aid.

Shae has cast [Comet Strike][Comet Strike][Comet Strike]

Triple Combination successful.

Comet Strike has been deflected by an Air Shield.

/Alpha: Shae: Now!

Shae has cast. [Balefire: Advanced]

The thin teen extended her arms outward until they became wings.

Hueli shrieked in terror at the streak of white flames coming toward her.

Hueli has used [Charged Air] to evade.

The Air Elemental breathed a sigh of relief, banking into the corner she flew directly into a wall of silver flames. Screaming in agony, her entire body erupted in flames just as a powerful set of jaws snapped shut over her legs. The Air Elemental gave a pitiful wail as she was bitten in half and then spat out onto the tile.

Hueli has been slain.

Ducky waited next to Taro, her blue eyes seemingly unconcerned. All the elementals were dead. "I wish I could keep him."

The group studied the black-cloaked pestilence mage. There seemed to be something diabolical lingering in his dark aura. The vermin he had summoned scampered up his body, forming a rat cloak with hundreds of gleaming red eyes.

[Whisper: Vooni to Nix] Ducky is an Archon level companion?

[Whisper: Nix to Vooni] At least, she's holding a boss by herself.

/Alpha: Nix: Why does everyone look nervous?

/Alpha: Vooni: Pestilence Mages are pretty rare, even very strong dragon spawn give them a wide berth. Everything they have is disease-oriented. They even have a defensive shield that infects you when you strike it.

/Alpha: Chiba: We can overcome him, but the odds are he's going to take one or two of us.

/Alpha: Ducky: We need Morti.

/Alpha: Shae: Got a plan? Shouldn't we kill the rats first?

/Alpha: Ducky: The moment a rat is killed, he'll aggro us, but they will have to be dealt with.

/Alpha: Nix: I got a plan. This guy is easy. I'm gonna kick his ass sideways.

/Alpha: Vooni: Pardon?

/Alpha: Nix: I'm immune to pestilence.

/Alpha: Shae: No you're not, Nix.

/Alpha: Chiba: Nope.

/Alpha: Rhy: That would be pretty rare.

/Alpha: Ducky: Of course he is.

Ducky smiled sweetly at Nix as if to offer him encouragement. She had no clue as to what his immunities were, just the blind faith of adoring spirit companion.

Nix walked to the far side of the room and sat down. He laid out three Nether Rats on the tiles.

/Alpha: Chiba: Holy crap. Rats are immune to pestilence!

/Alpha: Nix: I need two volunteers to inhabit the other two. Anyone with range damage, line up on the far wall and get ready.

/Alpha: Vooni: Three Nether rats aren't going to be able to kill this guy.

/Alpha: Nix: His rats... are gonna be my rats. I am the Rat-King.

/Alpha: Chiba: Your old title of Underwear King was better.

/Alpha: Nix: I know. Unfortunately, that's been snatched away.

Nix waited while Vooni and Chiba sat down on either side of him.

/Alpha: Nix: You two will inhabit the puppets and wait in the middle. If this goes upside-down on me, I expect you to do the honorable thing.

/Alpha: Vooni: Fight to the death?

/Alpha: Nix: Sure.

Nix inhabited the Rat-King and moved away from the others.

/Alpha: Chiba: Now I remember, these bastards have a self-destruct!

/Alpha: Nix: Yep. I'm going to self-destruct if the fight goes bad. You two will rush in and do the same.

/Alpha: Vooni: Understood.

Rat-Nix gave them an innocent yellow-eyed stare.

/Alpha: Chiba: Don't say it, Apprentice!

/Alpha: Vooni: Keep that thought to yourself, Nix!

/Alpha: Nix: Fine.

Rat-Nix scurried closer to Taro, stopping for a moment, he turned his yellow-eyed gaze on the rest of his group. "What could possibly go wrong?"

/Alpha: Chiba: Damn it. He said it.

/Alpha: Vooni: We're doomed.
