"We don't know what is happening; like you guys, everyone sensed the earthquake and came here," Williams said when we asked her about the earthquake. Not only her, anyone in a big group of humans doesn't have any great idea about it.

"I thought Scorcese Valley is the normal place, but abnormal things continue to happen around it," Old Ed muttered and took a sip out of his hip flask. Everyone couldn't help but think about what he said for a moment.

Scorsese Valley is supposed to be a normal place; it does not have a special environment, nor is it a piece of any ruin. There was not even a famous battle had happened here, so something like this happening seemed quite strange.

"Maybe our access is too low to know about whatever was hidden; Commander might know something about it," Thea added.

The Commander and other Leader class Tyrants are still observing the earthquake that is still going on, and the fluctuations of strange energy are getting intense by second. All of them are; nobody is going too close to the center while the energies are still churning.

Time passed by, and soon fifty minutes passed. The energies have become even more intense, that even from a distance, we could feel them clearly and even see them; the faint starlike energy looked amazing.

"Astral energies," Danielle said suddenly, "Danielle, do you know about these energies," Thea asked. "I had once found something which had similar energy signature these energies." "The appraiser of our Tower identified it as astral energy," Danielle explained.

Astral Energy, I had read about this type of energy and came in contact few things, but their level was too low compare to this energy. There are few Astral Inheritances in Sky Saber, Hawthorn Seal, and three Tyrant grade organizations; I wonder if they will call those people.

I wish I had read about it in the Library; there are too many things for me to do that I had a chance to study the selective things. There are many things I wanted to read about but did not get a chance due to the constraints of the time.

I know very few things about astral energy, and like everyone else, I begin to scan every book I have to find every bit about it. We have also discussed it among ourselves, but I did not gain much from it. Whether people genuinely don't know anything about it or just keeping it to themselves, it is hard to tell.

Another ten minutes passed when everything stopped; the earthquake had stopped, and so is astral energy. It could not be sensed anymore, nor is it visible.

The leader class Tyrants looked down before they flew forward; both of the group's speeds are about the same. They continued flying before stopping when there was fifty meters distance between them before looking down.

The way they are looking down, there seemed to be something below, and it seemed to be quite interesting if their expression were any proof.

They looked down for few minutes before they looked at each other started talking. Their conversation started off intense, and they nearly went to fight with each other before their expressions calmed down, and they begin to discuss things in calm.

After nearly fifteen minutes, both groups stopped talking, and both of them turned toward the group of Elites. A few seconds later, one person walked out of each group of Elites; the Grimm Monsters have three times more elites than us, a total of fifteen.

Still, a number of elites we have surprised me as the intelligence I had received said there are three elites, but instead, there are five. The existence of the two Elites has been kept secrete, just like the existence of another Leader class Tyrants.

Both elites appeared next to their leaders before going down; a few seconds later, they disappeared from my view.

There is something down below that I could see from the position; it is likely the source of the earthquake and those fluctuations.

Time passed, and soon an hour passed, but the two elites did not come out, and leaders are not happy to see that.

Few more minutes have passed since, and both groups said something to each other, and this time, the discussion only lasted for five minutes before both of the groups have reached the conjecture.

"Everyone, please come," Commander's orders rang out in our ears, and we moved toward the Commander. I have been curious to see what had caused such commotion and when I reached closed to the Commander, I was able to see it, and it is unlike anything I have seen before.

Below me, a small lake of dense starry energy seemed to have form, and while it looked like a lake, it is not. It is a gate; those dense spatial runes covering the edge of the lake are clear proof of that, and the strange thing is, this gate is broken.

The runes covering the edge of edge this Starry Gate are not in perfect condition, many of damaged and broken, which is why now and then, some part of it would disappear.

"I had spoken with Pyramid, and they have no idea about the existence of this thing." The Commander stated. It sent a shock to the hearts of all of us; the Pyramid had complete historical records that are older than ten thousand years.

Thousands of years ago, the pact was signed between all the organizations. Through this pack, all the organizations, would hand over copies of all the historical records they have; it is done that to keep an eye on everything known and unknown.

So one could imagine how old the records within the Pyramid are, which means even Pyramid doesn't have any idea about it. Means this thing is at least ten to twenty thousand years old, and nobody had a fucking idea what it contains.

For all we know, the two Elites that entered this broken starry gate might have already been dead.
