"I did not expect you to give me an answer to now Micheal; I just hope that when you hear the offer of the other Supremes, you will remember my offer that after joining the Blood Sun, no resources or position would be out of reach for you," He said.
I nodded at him, thankful that he had not pressured me with his power; ever since I had come here, he had not released even a hit of his strength.
"While I know you have saved the twins because they are your friends and not because they are members of Blood Sun. I would still like to show my gratitude as their teacher with this little reward; I hope you will accept it," he said, and the next moment, I saw a black bracelet appearing in my lap.
"Grand Lord, there is no need for the reward; as I had said, I saved them because they are my friend," I said, without checking what was contained in the storage.
It is not because of the pure heart but because it had already said the reward I want to come with very big strings attached. Compared to that reward, whatever he offered mean nothing much to me.
"Take it; if you do not accept it, I would consider you do not respect me," Patriarch said, with a much serious voice than before. I wanted to reject it again, but seeing his expressions, I stopped and placed the storage band in my storage without checking what's inside them.
My action seemed to surprise the old man as a look of surprise flashed into his eyes for a moment before it disappeared just as quickly.
"What are your plans, Micheal? Will you be staying in Blood Sun for few weeks and give us a chance to show our hospitality?" He asked.
"I can't stay long, Grand Lord; I will be leaving in three to four days after I make the necessary checks on Sofia and Raina," I replied. With him not giving me what I want, there is no need for me to stay here more than it is necessary.

"Micheal, you should stay at least a week?" Sophia asked, to that, I shook my head. "I can't even if I want to; there are too many things for me to do in the academy," I said and turned old man and about to ask permission to leave when he spoke again.
"Micheal, you seemed to have killed a few Tyrants, right; I am sure you have harvested them into your novel Essence Roses," "Would you be generous and give me one Essence Rose? I have long been very interested in them." Patriarch asked.
"What! You killed Tyrants!" Before I could reply to him, Sophia exclaimed and now looking at me with wide, shocked eyes.
"Hehe, girls, you should not underestimate the host of Celestial Inheritance; those who are able to create their own paths are not simple people," "Even if you have gained the Elemental Bodies, you girls will still have to work hard if you want to defeat this friend of yours," Patriarch said before he looked at me with expectant eyes.
"Here is the Essence Rose patriarch!" I said and give the wooden box to him. I had killed a total of seven Tyrants and harvested seven Essence Roses from them; five of them I have given to teacher while two I had kept to myself.
Patriarch caught the wooden box that is gently floated toward him and opened it, revealing a dark red essence rose.
"My God, this thing is really amazing, much more than the Emperor Grade Essence Rose you have created in the arena." He said as he observed the essence rose.
He was one of the first people to see the first Emperor Grade Essence Rose I had created in the arena, and with his standing, I am sure he would have gotten to look at that essence rose for days.

"What do you want in exchange for this, Micheal? I am not a petty person who takes things from the junior without giving anything in return." He asked without looking up from the rose; he seemed to be quite enamored by it.
I wanted to reply with 'give me one week in your secrete library,' but that would be crossing the limit, and who knows, the old man might get angry enough that he would vaporize me on the spot.
"There is nothing I want, Patriarch; I just hope that you will be able to share the things you will notice from this essence rose," I said.
He looked up finally and continued looked at me for seconds without speaking; it made me very comfortable.
"You are a very smart young man," He said, with a hint of a smile on his face. His words brought an awkward smile to my face; I wanted to say something to that, but after a second of thinking, I decided to remain quiet.
"I should take my leave, Patriarch; I had already wasted enough of your time," I said after few seconds of uncomfortable silence.
He nodded, and I got up from my spot when suddenly I stopped in my tracks when I remembered something.
"I might not be able to find everything if there is something wrong with twins; you should send them to the Devil's Gate; that person there would easily be able to find it if there is any problem and fix it," I said.
Hearing that eyes of the old man shot opened and he looked at me with shock for a couple of seconds before a bright smile appeared on his. It is the first time in our meeting, the old man showed more than slight emotions.
Lord Al told me the names of the people who were able to Sunlight Dome in the past, and patriarch Bradford is one of them; he stayed there for nine days; that was the record there until I broke it.
"No wonder you were able to make such high progress in such a short time," he said with a smile before looking into my eyes, "How many days have you stayed there?" He asked.
"Nine," I answered, which of course, was a lie. "Sure," The old man said, and seeing his expression, he does not believe me even one bit.
How many days one could stay depend upon one's knowledge, and there is no one who has as much knowledge as the one practice the Celestial Inheritance, especially at the Emperor Stage.
"Teacher, what are you guys talking about?" Raina asked, "You will know when you get to that place." Patriarch answered vaguely.
Sophia turned to me for the answer, but I shook my head, saying no. I am not telling them; it is already enough that I had mentioned Lord Al vaguely.
Its not like they will have to wait for the answer for long; with the power I had sensed from them yesterday, they have the strength to reach the Sunlit Dome; they will know the answer once they reached there.
I did not stay in the hall anymore and walked out of it, and to my surprise, Lord Mycroft was waiting for me there and took me back to the house I am staying in, the same way he had brought me.

But never would she think that facing up to her past would change everything. Is History written by the victors, or by someone or something else...? *** I started writing this a few years ago and eventually fell out of love with it. I never finished it and my newer books are being written in different writing style, and genre with a more planned process. I decided to revisit it for the writathon and found that it wasn't as hopeless as I'd come to think. Hopefully, I've improved as a writer since them so the consistency may vary. Its been good to revisit and analyse my writing which I feel used to have some clunky and obvious dialogue which I'm trying to fix. This will always be my first novel and I hope, with a little exposure, I may come to like it again. Thanks for reading!
