Monster Integration Chapter 1713

I had acquired all data I need, and I am sure I could kill it, but I am in no hurry to act. I want to make sure when I attack, I am successful, and for that, I would need a perfect chance, which is not hard to find; I will just have to wait for few minutes max.
I could still attack and have a chance to kill it, but I wanted my attack to be sure to kill; if I miss I would have to wait for an hour or more.
I really did not want to wait for more; I am already lucky enough that no Grimm Monster or human has discovered us fighting, but this luck will not last long. Ashlyn had seen a couple of Humans and Grimm Monsters coming close; some even had come really close.
So, I want to finish it as soon as possible; I just have to wait for a little for the perfect chance.
First Boost + Second Boost + Everwings + Third Boost!
I did not have to wait for less; in less than a minute later, I found a perfect chance, and just as I did, I activated the first Boost, which trigger I had been holding on to. My blood begins to burn, and strength like never before begin to course through my body.
The two aspects that received the most advancements in the Garden were Body and Soul. Their advancements were much more than other aspects; half of the food I had ate worked on strengthening them.
So, when I burned my essence, I found more strength coursing through my body than I had expected, and I had used it all.
As the power of essence burned course through me, I stopped taking steps back and disappeared from my spot.

It got extremely surprised seeing that as for more than five hours, I had been on the defensive, taking steps back with each of its attacks, and now, I burst out with great strength that I disappeared from its sight.
I appeared behind and moved my sword to pierce its chest from behind, and it reacted immediately. It moved its ax at its back without moving; it had performed such a move flawlessly, one could not see the slightest friction in its movements.
CLLAAANNG!
Its defended against my attack, "Hehe, human, its not ea" it said when its words cut of mid-air, and a look of shock appeared on its face and as I directly appeared in front of it and my sword is now moving toward its chest.
I had deliberately attacked it from behind at first; I wanted to defend it, so I could attack its ax with power. So, when I appeared in front of it, its ax would be a fraction of seconds later, and that is all the time I needed to finish it off.
Suddenly, the look of shock it had on its face has vanished, and a brights teasing smile appeared on its face.
The runes that covered its body have brightened up, and a powerful aura burst out of them. Ax, which was slow, appeared in front of it as if it is teleported and moved toward my sword, which going for its chest.
CLLLAAANNNG!
Bang!
Our weapons clashed, and I was sent back with a huge force that I had clashed against the huge tree, carving the figure of myself on it.
"How idiot do you think I am human!" "I know you had been hiding something, and for that, I waited, even when I wanted to use every bit of power I have and shred you to pieces." It said while laughing loudly.

"No matter how much blood you burn, human, you will never be able to defeat me!" It declared while gloriously spreading its arms.
"You have already been defeated, you idiot!" I said as I gently got up. The crash had been too hard; if not for my armor protecting me, I would have already turned into the bloody paste by such a powerful crash.
"Hahahaha, It looked like the shock of the crash had done to something to your brain human!" The Grimm Monsters laughed as it said it, but suddenly, the laughter disappeared from its face, and a look of confusion appeared on it.
'Rose Domain!'
I said in my mind, and nine roses came out of the ground around it. At the same, really, really thin strings that were invisible till now became visible around its body and started to grow madly.
"Human, what is it?" I asked as a powerful aura flared around it, but just it flared nearly half of the power of its been suppressed by the domain of nine roses that is covering it, and strings flared up as bound it even tighter.
I am not an idiot to fight it like it is Emperor; from the moment the battle begins, I understood I am fighting a Tyrant. Even if it is muscle for the brain Tyrant, it is still a powerful Tyrant, which I could not underestimate.
So, I planned and perfected that plan with the data I had collected from it.
I had to thank Lord Al for this victory in the discussion we had. We have had not only discussed the creation of my Inheritance but also discussion, how my moves could be used optimally. The discussion had given me a lot of ideas, and this result is a product of those ideas.
I walked toward the roses and placed my palms on the field they have created, and poured my energy into it; as I did, the energy became the field have become even stronger, and strings begin to grow at even greater speed, and soon, they have covered it heavily.
"You! You are him, aren't you, the one that defeated the champion of the scarlet flame tribe in the arena!" It said with real horror on its face.
"Yes, I am him, and now I am going to harvest you," I said while bringing out my most villainous smile.

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.

Hy'Ruh-Ha is a what I consider a chronicle fantasy. It is a fantasy drama coming of age story inspired by slice-of-life stories I've read and watched. It is heavy on the slice-of-life and does move slow. It is low-stakes fantasy. This particular story is romance free.(2 out the of 4 is re-uploaded under this title) And if you are someone who cares, the POV character is asexual. Crossroad(formally labeled as the intermission stories)- is a novella collection continuing the tale where Hy'ruh-Ha. The collection as followed: Wolf- After spending several months in the swamp post, Oeric'Sheldmartin returns to repair the chasm between him and his son, Soletus. However, a ghost from his past comes to haunt him and could ruin the life he's made completely. Note: Wolf is a bit of a character piece. POV character is Oeric. The Priest and the Priestess- A novella written in the POV of Mien and then Kiao after a series of unexpected events that change their lives. Mien's POV- Mien has spent the last couple of years working not only in the infirmary but training to become a combat chanter as part of his penitence. Then one day, a drug addled elf comes into infirmary and changes his perspective of a friend and puts his knowledge to the tests to figure out a mystery effecting children in town. *Spoiler warning* Kiao's POV- Kiao spent most of her time in the infirmary living the same daily secret filled life and until Mien changed it.
