Chapter 1232 - Consuming I

'F.u.c.k!' I couldn't help but curse when I saw the bastard of the Monster looked at me with its death stare, and the next moment, it disappeared from its spot.

Seeing that, I started to run; there is thick energy coursing through my body, I power up the speed runes of the old set with booting power to increase my speed once more, but it did not seem to be enough.

"GROWL!"

The Copper Armored Ape and growled it loudly as it appeared behind me and punched. Its punch has even more raw physical power than earlier and coming toward me as it tore through the air.

'I can't let myself hit by that punch!' I thought, the ape likely to be one of the oldest monsters here, and seeing how he is sitting right next to central root and refining its body with most pure Cosmic Energy, I am no match against its punch.

My Armor won't be able to refine all that raw physical energy, and if it entered my body, I would pop up like a balloon, so I should dodge the attack, but it easier said than done seeing the speed of the punch.

As the punch comes at me, I started to move sideways, but to my horror, I found that its punch is following me perfectly but seeing no choice, I gritted my teeth and put more power into a couple of formations.

ZUP!

Suddenly I moved sharply; the turn was so fast that, punch that was about to hit my back missed by a couple of inches. Still, I could feel sharp wind by my shoulder, and seeing its intensity, I know I had dodged a death sentence.

I dodged the attack, but it had cost me a couple of bones; taking such a sharp turn has brought pressure to a couple of my body parts. Though most of the pressure bore by my inheritance, some of them were still left to my body, which had craked many bones.

"GROWL!"

I was enjoying the dodge when the loud growl of the Monster had brought me back to reality and saw another punch coming. Seeing that, I ran like hell and dodged the sharp way when the punch is about to hit me.

It had been less than five seconds since the Monster attacked, but I had already crossed a quarter of the distance earlier; we needed more than six hours to cross this much distance, but with boost, I had crossed it a couple of seconds.

I could feel the eyes of the hundreds of monsters, if not thousands but not single dare to take a step toward me seeing the big boss is chasing me, which is a good thing; I don't want to be chased by the thousands of monsters, seeing all of them are pretty strong.

I have read all the intel and knew that I have to survive until I reached the verdant range.

From what had been observed by the past seniors, monsters of the crown tree don't chase anyone outside of the verdant range, and seeing the speed I am running, it will not take me even a minute to reach the verdant range and get out of its boundary.

But to do that, I have to survive this bastard whose punches are becoming stronger and faster; it is becoming quite difficult to dodge them, but I am still dodging them, as getting hit by even a single one means death.

"GROWL!"

Soon we get out of the shadow of the Crown Treen and move to the verdant forest, and, seeing it being unable to kill me, its growled loudly in its rage, and crystal its forehead started to shine brightly.

As it shone brightly, I started to feel suppressing feeling coming over me, and it is increasing strongly at every moment. This suppression is not physical but mental, and unskilled soul attack.

Feeling its would not be wise to let such suppression build on me, I created a strong layer of killing Rule and Killing type Inheritance energy around my body, and the suppression I am feeling has vanished.

'F.u.c.k Soul Attack.' Just how much King Level abilities it has, first it was circulating a crazy amount of cosmic energy through its veins, which only Kings could do, and now suppression sort of Soul Attack which only Kings above could do.

It is f.u.c.k.i.n.g blogging my mind and scaring the hell of me; it was my luck that this Monster does not know anything about soul attack. If it knew how to concentrate that suppression and used it as a stun, then I would have been f.u.c.k.i.e.d.

It would have stunned me for a moment, and that all it would have needed to finish me off.

"GROOOWWL!"

It again growled loudly and this time in frustration seeing its attack had failed and punched toward me again with more power than before.

I again channeled all the energy I have into a couple of formations and made a sharp turn to avoid the attack. The Monster has got familiar with my tactics and tried to follow me, but its punch is not flexible enough to follow it.

Fauliars did not seem to discourage this bastard; instead, encourage it as every attack of it stronger than before; I couldn't help but wonder where the hell it brings out such immense power for every attack.

The chase continued throughout the forest, and if someone looked at our chase, they would have a funny expression.

As I am taking sharp turns to dodge its attack, it looked like I am moving in a zig-zag fashion, and since it is chasing me, it too looked like moving in the same manner.

The verdant forest boundary is getting closer and closer, but I feel that this bastard will not stop chasing me when we reach there, which is very bad for me.

The first boost that is giving me this strength will not be available for longer, and that time, I will be f.u.c.k.i.e.d.

"Ashlyn, where the hell are you?" I asked her hundredth times through our link; since the chase began, I had been calling her, but there is no reply from her what so ever.

I had just called her one more time when I heard a familiar chirp above me; when I looked; I saw ahlyn chubby form in the air, seeing that smile couldn't help but appear on my face but next moment, a smile on my face desspeared when I noticed some different about her.

She is not in flesh blood form but in strange energy form and fluctuating strange energy, which reminded me of the bull monster, which seemed to have tens of abilities from eating miracle fruits.

When we tried to kill it, it has changed into something like this and entered Ashlyn's body to consume her and but Ashlyn consume it instead and got many strange abilities; even now, she sometimes awakened new abilities, like that strange tracking ability she awakened a few days ago.

I had just understood what is happening and opened my mouth in caution when Ashlyn chirped and flashed toward Copper Armored Ape.

The Monster also seemed to understand something bad about to happen to it as it diverted its punch that is coming me to Ashlyn.
