Chapter 1098 - Return
"That went better than expected," I said as I walked out of the cave. I spent nearly half a day in the cave. Training there had really helped me get full control over my strength.
Not to forget the amazing fruits I got, especially the one at Admantines Level. Those fruits are very rare; they could help one get an epiphany about the unknown stage of knight; it is simply said that they could increase the chances of one reaching the limit of the knight.
Regretfully one tree had only two of those fruits, and I got four in my storage; Ashlyn had given me her two fruits.
I don't need these fruits since I had already reached the Limit of Knight, but there are many people who need it, especially those like Elina who had got slight comprehension of this unknown, it will be most useful to those people.
As I got out of the cave, Ashlyn flew down on my shoulder. I had sent Ashlyn out before to check whether anyone is in this area; I don't want to be seen by anyone, especially humans, which I could not kill.
After getting out of the cave, I made my way into the city. There I slept for some time before I went to meet the few people I know; the meeting took a while I returned at late midnight.
Instead of entering the Manor, I flew to the roof Manor and took out the airship, and flew back to Cometh City in a stealth mode. Everything I wanted to do in the Grimm Battlefield, I did, and now it's time to reach Central Continent.
I will return, though, as soon as I made some progress in the stages above Knight. The Garden had many amazing things, and I wanted to use them while they were useful to me.

It will take little more than a day to reach Cometh City, and it is fine for me; there are still many things I have to do.
So, after waking up in the morning, I freshened, showered, and ate before I started to comprehend the 2nd Chapter of Eldritch Sword Art.
As I started to comprehend it, I was surprised to find that my comprehension speed had increased quite much; I am understanding things more quickly than before.
The Secret Method had completely cleansed my soul, and that increased my comprehension power. With such comprehension speed, it should not take me more than the month to comprehend the 2nd Chapter of Eldritch Sword Art.
I opened my eyes in the evening, I had been comprehending for the whole day, and I had benefited a lot; it would have been quite good if I were not in an airship, I would have really wanted to try some moves.
Though the airship had a practice room, it was not as big as I needed, so I could only comprehend it, not test it. After walking out of the practice room, I went to a small kitchen where I cooked something for Ashlyn and me.
After eating, I read for a few hours before sleeping; I am going to reach Cometh City, I hope the Grimm Monster will not attack me.
This time though, I've taken sufficient precautions and had even called the professor in the city and told her what happened.
She wanted to come to take me, but I declined; in this continent, Tyrant Powerhouse, like Professor, could indulge as she has time, but in the Central Continent, she will have hands full, so it is better to depend upon her too much.
As mom said, it is me who I should depend upon most. Only one can help oneself.

When I woke up the next day, I was only an hour away from the Cometh city, seeing that I freshened up and showered, by the time I was done with that, only twenty minutes remained till the airship reached the cometh city.
To pass the time, I sat on the chairs and watched beautiful clouds. It is peaceful to watch them; sometimes, I do that when I feel too much stress or just want to relax.
Soon the ship reaches the Cometh City and slows down as it flies toward the Mansion; a minute later, the ship starts descending before finally landing in the garden.
I got out of the Airship and found the professor and Elina sitting on their garden chairs as they usually do. Every day in the morning, they will be in the garden drinking tea and talking.
"You have returned sooner than I had expected." Elina said as I reached her, "Well, there is nothing in Grimm Battlefield for me now." I said and projected the slight aura of the unknown level.
"Gasp!"
"You broke through, you lucky dog," Elina said as she sensed my aura; jealousy could be clearly seen in her eyes, which she did not try to hide. As I had, she too planned to go to War Zone to break through to the limit of Knight.
"Those Grimm Monsters must be really powerful to make your breakthrough you." She said. The professor must have told her about me getting attacked by the Grimm Monsters.
"Yes, they were really powerful," I said while shuddering a little, the soul burning pain is still fresh in my mind. "You have reached the unknown already; I don't know how many months or even a year I have to spend before I reach the Limit," she said with a droopy voice.
"Here, it ca," I said as red-violet fruit appeared in my hands, and I was about to explain to her what it is when her eyes light up like bulb, and her hands became extremely fast that I barely track her movements as she took fruit off my hands and looked at the fruit with great lodging.
I've never seen such a look on her face, but seeing how she reacted, it confirmed that she knew what the fruit is, so I won't have to explain it to her.

The Journey of a Lazy Magician
As the state of the world grew dangerous everyday as the Demon Lord whom have the capability to destroy the world, will be un-sealed soon and the attacks of the demon forces' became more frequent, what better time it would be to be held as one of the richest person in the world. Only a sane person with the right mind would do that. Having to acquire something before an inevitable and hopeless end is the best option rather than trying to find the solution for the end of the world. I mean, the device used to re-seal the Demon Lord is gone. It could be under the ocean for all we know so why waste you're energy on stupid things like that? Of course, why would I waste my energy to do my incredibly hard goal when I can have my fellow party members to do it. Saving their "lives" from lesser goblins using a stick as a weapon usually does the trick to get someone on board so I think I'm pretty much set. *The cover photo is mine :3* AN: And thus, a schedule has been formed! I would be posting new chapter ever 2-3 days and if i haven't posted in this time, then something happened to me personally that makes me unable to post chapters in the scheduled time. The reason will mostly be school or i just have a lot of things scheduled in a certain day, etc. Sorry if it did happen as i am a very busy senior high student and could only write in his free time. Anyway, that is all and have a good day/night, the person who is reading this!

Luck And Chronomancy
Time Magic is the best magic as everyone knows, although there are lots of unique Talents in the world. Most people only remember Haste because it is hard to get to higher Phases of Chronomancy. That is still enough to make the Talent iconic. A lucky enough Aleatory Talent can position you for greatness or leave you languishing in obscurity. The only true equality in the world is when that glowing message pops up at 8 years old. Even if it doesn't activate until you are an adult at 16 you still know. Sure you can find a new dungeon spawn and get another chance at a rare Talent, even this one, but you have to already be ready to delve into the *Far Wilds*, which is far easier with wealth or family power. This is the story of where my good fortune took me and the difference it made, even among a party of 7 others including an Arcanist. It is a journey of magic and monsters but also math, which some think is actually worse. Luckily I was born with Intelligence and Focus as my personal traits, and my parents were scholars. Of course Chronomancy can also be a frontline combat talent. Versitility well beyond other Elder Talents like Gravity, Abstraction, or Arcana. Might could have worked for me, too. I also met a runaway princess. All the best adventures have a princess. She hated being a noble and we didn't get married but it still counts. Besides she really filled out our front line. All that Leadership training came in handy. I still don't know where she's from. Who cares? How well Haste goes with giant hammers is what's important. I never learned much about anyone in the party, except the one I grew up with. I'm not a people person. I just wanted to optimize dungeon clearing time. *******Story Details******* No romance, politics, or traumatizing content, slice of life, or even dialogue. 1st person narration, like a guide/adventure log. 2000-7000 words a day, maybe 40-60% rpgish combat log with some reasoning on combat decisions, with the rest character Talent discussion and progression stuff. 8 person party with a decent variety in roles. Party members usually have 2 primary functions. Told from the support/control Chronomancer's perspective. Each party member will have 6 Basic/Background Traits, then 3 actual Talents with abilities. Capstone from their Educational Institution, Arbritrary as a gift from the temples, and Aleatory which is decided at birth, revealed at 8, and activated after adulthood at 16. Aleatory Traits ignore requirements and are random why is why they are so important. They'll gain new Talents from finding Dungeons to consume in the *Wilds*. Mature dungeons in cities can provide *Challenges* to raise the Phase of a Talent, up to 3 times from 1 to 4. Each character will get to roughly 8 non-Trait Talents. Attributes come exclusive from Talents, are required by Talents, and provide various effects as well. I designed about 220 Talents with abilities, 4 in each of 4 phases. "Traits" are just Attribute stuff. I'm not sure how many will be detailed in the story, more than 100 for sure. I used Talents because I want to be free of the legacy of tabletop. Half those rules are just because of the limitations inherent in a pre-computer ttrpg. This story mostly uses combat Talents, although like 1/3 of the 220 are for crafting and other society and economy stuff. If you really wanted to be a Thief you might take Intuition, Awarness, and Might for Basic Traits and Deftness, Manipulation, and Trickery for Family/Education. Then you'd pick Acrobatics, and Climbing for Educational Capstone and Arbitrary traits. You Aleatory Trait might be Shadow(Light/Dark) Magic, Umbramancy. A Bard might swap Dexterity for Charisma, Music for Acrobatics, and have gotten Illusion(Shadow/Sound(Air/Force)) for their Aleatory Trait.
