Chapter 864 - Advancements I

I returned to my apartment at Dawn. The party lasted for the whole night, it was very crazy and many secrets were revealed, I was able to know the various talents my teammates have aside from fighting.

I am quite drunk when I returned, I had never drunk this much alcohol in my whole life as I did last night, but it was nothing compared to Sasha, she is quite a drinker, she drank double than anyone, but time to the left she was most sober among us.

Technically, Team Leader was most sober, but she did not count as she was platinum, her body could burn alcohol faster than anyone here due her strong physical body.

There is one interesting thing that had happened, Ashlyn drank alcohol, and she was the only one who was able to drink half than Sasha, if not for me stopping her, I am sure she would have been able to beat Sasha in drinking.

Before Ashlyn did not like to drink much, she barely tasted wine when I drank before walking off arrogantly with the high head when a bottle of a drink named 'Kemy' opened, she came out of me on her own and asked me to get that drink for her.

Which was quite surprising, and of all alcohol that came from the Central Continent, 'Kemy' is one of an average one and one my teammates had tried it because he found the blue bottle it stored in quite attractive.

I've also tasted that drink seeing Ashlyn liking it so much, but I did not like it much as all I felt was cold when drinking it.

This wine lets one's body feel cold after drinking it, which is opposite of what normal drinks felt when they entered the stomach.

I was not going to let her drink that much, but my teammates liked tipsy Ashlyn, who wouldn't like a cute chubby bird walking drunkenly on the bar counter, even the bartender got enamored by her that he didn't charge us on what she had drunk.

A minute after entering my apartment, I was on my bed sleeping. I didn't even have a shower which I had desperately wanted to take.

The sleep-in pod in the airship was not as satisfactory as the real bed, which is why I had slept through the whole morning and woke up directly in the afternoon.

When I woke up, I did my usual routine, and one and half an hour later, I was eating lunch with Ashlyn while gazing at the afternoon sky from my kitchen, after few days of hecticness, it feel good to feel free without worrying about a strict schedule one has to follow during the mission.

I finished lunch but did not get up from my chair, and like me, Ashlyn also started to stare at the afternoon sky, but unlike me, she stared directly at the sun. Even with the current power I have, I still can't stare at the bright for too long. If I did that, my head would start to feel hurt.

We continued gazing, and half an hour passed, and I moved my eyes away from the sky and started to walk toward the training hall as it is some time to train when I suddenly stopped as I felt some change in Ashlyn.

When I looked at her, I found her staring at the Sun with her classing stomach down position, but this time she is wholly stilled like a statue, not even her tiny eyebrows are moving.

I was about to call out to her, but I stopped and closed my opened mouth as I felt this would be not wise things to do.

Gasp!

So I connected to her telepathically, trying to sense what was happening to her, and that is when I noticed what was happening to her and I couldn't help but take a gasp in surprise but this surprise hasp was also silent as I had covered my mouth with my hand to stop myself from making a sound.

She is comprehending the Rule power, and now she is in deep comprehension when I just looked at her source. I found Sunfire Rule's comprehension is advancing at a slow but steady pace.

It had been quite a while since the Sunfire Rule had broken through, and I have to say it had broken through at the right time.

The Totem artifacts sharpness is barely enough to cut through the Nine Star Golden Elites, it would have been efficient to deal with those above the Nine Star Golden Elites.

With the Sunfire Rule's Advancement, I will not have to worry about that, my Totem artifacts. Enchantment will now become powerful enough that it will become capable of cutting those above Nine Star Golden Elite as a hot knife cut through butter.

I sat back on my chair and watched Ashlyn, I could go to the training hall and do what I have to do, but I know with Ashlyn advancing here, I will not be able to concentrate, so I sat back on my chair and tracked Ashlynn's progress through her source.

This had happened too suddenly. I had thought it would take quite a while more before the Sunfire Rule advanced, and when it advanced, it would be on the battlefield as most of the Rule powers advanced in the dangerous environment.

But Ashlyn made her Rule power Advance by simply staring at the Sun. If I knew to stare at the sun would help her make the progress, I would have asked her to do that long before.

Chew Chew…

Twenty minutes later, a lively chirp rang out from Ashlyn, and right next moment she entered inside me. As she did, I saw my Sunfire Rule rapidly advancing, and in just a few minutes, it had become equal to her.

The Sunfire Rule, like Killing Rule, reached the end of the High Stage of the Basic Grade. Now I just need to take one more step in those Rules, and I would be able to reach the peak of the Basic Stage, which would be even more amazing.

I feel the Sunfire Rule in me raging and couldnt help but get excited. Seeing the excitement in me bubbling crazily, I quickly went to the training hall and took out my Artifact.

I wanted to take it out in the kitchen, but I didn't as I did not want to destroy the future of my apartments in my excitement.

I stared at my Totem Artifact for a while before I started to add the power of Sunfire and my ability inside my sword without any reservation or holding back. I want to know how much stronger my enchantment had become after the advancement of the Sunfire.

Buzz!

My sword buzzes faintly as it always does, and bright red color starts to coat the edges of my crystalline sword and soon that glow starts to spread before finally stopping.

"Half Centimeter," I said as I looked at my sword, the bright red glow now covered the half centimeter of the sword. It may look small, but it is huge as it is three times more than before.
