Chapter 825 - Spying
After two hours of discussion, I walked out of the Abode with three others. I covered myself with mud just like before and sneakily walked toward the camp of the Grimm Monsters, which is ten kilometers away.
Four of us will take four different directions and observe the camp of Grimm Monsters from four directions. I will have to look for everything, from what tribe of Grimm Monsters they are to the time of their shift to the time they eat, everything.
This is an Extremely Hard difficulty mission. One could not just barge inside and kill the Grimm Monsters. If we do that, then it will not take much time for us to get exterminated.
We will deal with not, not hundred but thousand Golden Elite, and that is on condition that we could destroy the teleportation formation first, if we fail to do that before attacking them we will be facing an endless horde of Grimm Monsters from formation and it will be our extermination not theirs.
I moved through the swamp cautiously, avoiding any Grimm Monster Ive come across, but there f.u.c.k.i.n.g too much of them, and the worst thing is, I am finding all of these f.u.c.kers at my level or a level higher than me.
So there is no way I could just kill the Grimm Monster in the single attack soundlessly before moving away, which is why I sometimes had to stop for a while before I could move again.
Which is why it took me three whole hours to reach the camp of the Grimm Monsters, three f.u.c.k.i.n.g hours. If I could fly, I would not have taken even a minute at my highest speed to cross 10 Km, but now it had taken me three hours.

When I looked at the camp of Grimm Monsters, I couldn't help but remember the Black Market but of smaller size.
In front of me is a huge dome made of energy, it is quite big, a size of a small village, inside hundreds of abodes, could be seen in neat lines with Aqua Rhinomen Grimm Monsters patrolling the perimeter heavily.
The most eye catching thing in this Camp is two Dark Color Teleportation gates, from my red vision, I could see them clearly and also see the people that are coming and going out of them.
From what I had heard from my teammates till now, when we attack, our first mission is to destroy the Teleportation Gate so that no reinforcements will come.
Teleportation Gate or no teleportation gate, this mission is extremely difficult and I feel like I could lose my life. I could see that every Grimm Monster inside the camp is Golden Elite, which has at least one Star on their temple.
I am pretty close to the Camp just two hundred meters away; this distance is extremely dangerous. The leader had cautioned me to observe from half a kilometer and should not go any close.
But I still did it as I felt like I could go close with the help of Artifact and Killing Rule.
The Aqua Rhinomen are cautious, they have not only posted the Guards inside the Camp but also on outside and there is one Aqua Rhinoman who is close to me, just five meters ahead of me.
I am lying in Mud with a portable oxygen cylinder in my mouth, as for seeing I don't have to worry as I have Red vision, which helps me see everything a few hundred meters around me with perfect clarity.
I see everything and note every important point I've noticed from the Grimm Monsters. In just a few hours, I got much valuable information, and this is just the start as I will be here for a long time.

I will have to keep watch and collect intel till the dawn on the day after tomorrow, which is fine to me as not sleeping for two straight days is not much staring at me, and such hard missions also kept thoughts of Rachel away from me for some time.
In the airship, I used to think about Rachel every waking moment, that I became completely miserable. This mission had brought a little change in that, though I still remember her. My mind also focused on a mission too, which gave me a little respite.
Time passed by, and Dawn came, and I continued noting all the changes I've observed, not daring to miss anything as every important thing I note will help to craft a better strategy, which in turn helps me save my life.
As six ticks in, I noticed there were a lot of people coming out of the formation, and the same amount of people went inside the formation. The Grimm monster had better technology, which enables them to send people at long distances.
Through these launch pads, Grimm Monster went to a different location. Their location might be some area in the Warzone or Midzone, or they are going Outpost, one could not tell unless they see the coordinates which are also part of the mission but not compulsory one as who would have time to open the internal system of the Teleportation gate and look for the coordinates.
Time passed, and evening came, and Monsters changed their shift again and hour later it was their dinner time.
For dinner, many monsters gathered in groups, some Grimm Monsters took out their dinner from their storage while others took off dinner material, and one can guess what the main ingredient of dinner is.
Human!
Many Grimm Monsters have taken out bodies of Humans from their storage and started to cook them in different methods; my blood began to boil, and killing intent inside me rages.
I wanted to move away from my spots and rip those f.u.c.k.i.n.g Grimm Monsters to shreds, but I control myself as If I did that, then I would be one that will get ripped into shreds and get eaten just like the dead humans on fire.
Looking at the bodies of humans, I frowned a little as the bodies they removed were completely n.a.k.e.d, and not single strands of hair could be seen on their bodies, they looked less like humans and more like a completely clean monster that one buys from the supermarket to eat.
'These may be the pen humans.' I said in my mind, I have read that deep in the Green Monsters territory, the Grimm Monsters bred humans for the food, and this my first time seeing the reared human in reality.
I have killed many Grimm Monsters and sorted through their storages, and this is my first time seeing it, and to be honest, they look just like normal humans. I didn't know when I looked at them.
I was searching for something which makes them different from us, but I realized we are the same, and this thought stuck into my mind, making my emotions a little jumble that I wasn't able to think properly for a while.
Time passed as I watched everything, and soon dawn approached, seeing that I stealthy made my way back and removed the multiple cameras I've placed around before making my way back to the abode.

While sabotaging the gang threatening his town, Curt is forced to take a leap of faith, literally. He plunges into the sea of clouds expecting death, only to arrive in an entirely new world beneath his own. Saved by a young girl using magic, Curt isn't too sure what to make of his second chance of life. When he meets a fellow Duster who had fallen years ago, he's roped into becoming second-in-command of a brand new guild. Guild duties aren't easy, especially as Curt is tasked to recruit fighters to take on the Grand Guild Tournament, where the winning guild takes home an enormous prize pool -- and most importantly, a mysterious ticket to the fabled "Star City" that exists above the clouds. Going with the flow only takes him so far, and Curt soon finds himself burdened with more responsibility than he bargained for, including the fate of the two worlds. ==============================Wordpress This webnovel is written for fun, and everything posted is essentially a first draft. Beware of typos and lack of creative descriptions — my main priority is to get the story out over writing quality. Still, I hope you enjoy the story. Updates are sporadic, but I aim to release a chapter (~2000-3000 words) at least once a week. Average release time is 1 chapter/3 days. I took inspiration from the lore of the MMO, Dungeon Fighter Online (Dungeon & Fighter), and there may be easter eggs or references to the game, but the story and characters have become wholly original and standalone. incomprehensible thoughts
This is just the weird & random shit it my mind, for when I can remember them and when I have time to put those thoughts & feelings into words, IF I can even do that. Writing is one of the things that I couldn't live without, and it's weird because it's something that bloomed from some things that I now hate. Anygays, enjoy the show.
