Monster Integration Chapter 824

Chapter 824 - Sulfur Marsh
I muttered as the speed of my teammates slowed down by little as we passed the boundary of Heim, from here we will encounter monsters.
The speed of ours is still fast, but I do not have to use my all to maintain my speed with my teammates. We started to fly over the forest without hiding ourselves, many Grimm Monsters attacked us on the way, including one Nine Star Golden Elite but it was split into two by a blue-haired young man before it got a chance to say anything.
The Grimm Monster and the body were at the same level, and their battle power was also the same, but the attack had happened so fast that I am barely able to catch what had happened.
It was a good thing I had switched to the Red vision before the attack had happened; otherwise, I would not have been able to catch a glimpse of such a strong attack.
I've seen the Nine Star Golden Elites fight, but they were never this fast, and the most fantastic thing about this attack is that Blue Haired boy did not use any skill or Mystic Method. He did all this with its own skill.
Even if I can't do that if I come across any Two Star Golden Elite if I had come across Two Star Elite, I would need at least five moves to kill it, and execution wouldn't be this smooth.
That was the first time I've got the Glimpse of the power of the members of Death Brigade, and the fear I was feeling about this 'Extremely Hard' mission had lessened a little.
Time passed by, and soon dawn came, but we still did not stop, we continued without slowing our speed, and finally, when late morning approached, we slowed down and started to land, and we have finally reached Sulfur Marsh.

Though our destination is deep in the Sulfur Marsh, we will have to move though the ground.
This time also there was no command, nothing. All people landed silently without making any sound and started to move into the forest cautiously and swiftly. When I observed them, I was shocked to find that all their stealth is amazing.
They are not using any method; they had just completely sealed their aura and began to walk into the March or sometimes crawl and swim when the Grass is not big enough to hide them.
I covered myself with killing energy and mud like them as I started to follow them. It felt extremely yucky to cover the mud over the body since everyone had done it, including redhead, I've followed their suit too.
It is good that I decided to observe each of them before I had started applying mud on my body as some of them had used quite ingenious tricks. They had covered themselves with a thin but very concentrated layer of mana before applying the mud on their body.
This trick may seem simple, but it is extremely hard as of the thirty-eight people only five successfully able to do that while twelve made some mistakes. This trick not only needs pure mana but an extremely high level of control over it also.
One has to create a very thin layer of mana around one, but that layer has to be very concentrated with mana. Others might have a problem making such, but all I required it's thought to do that, with the swirling Armor, my control over my energy had increased so much that even Redhead leader could not be compared to me.
"Rookie, the territory of Sulfur Marsh is Grimm Monsters Domain. Human teams rarely come here; you have been very careful to not be discovered."
"If you are discovered, not only will you jeopardize the mission, but you will also take the heavy beating from the leader too." Warned burly Tom before he silently swims away.

My lips couldn't help but curled up hearing that, it should be them who should be worried about being discovered, I had enveloped myself completely in killing Rule with the help of the Artifact unless any Grimm Monsters directly spot me with their eyes, there is no way in hills, it will sense me with sense with its senses.
We swam away, and on the way, we encountered, and quite a number of Grimm Monsters, and all of them were Golden Elites. I've never seen so many Golden Elites concentrated in one Area, Golden Elites are not cabbages in Marked, which one could find anywhere, but in this marsh, they seemed like cabbages that could be found anywhere.
As we traveled through the Marsh, we have come across many Grimm Monsters, monsters of them we have avoided, but some we had to kill. Those poor bastard, they all died without knowing how they have been killed and their bodies have also disappeared from the marsh.
Time passed by and evening approached, but we are still passing through the marsh. The marsh is too big despite our speed. We are still taking so much time to reach our destination.
Three hours after sunset, we have finally stopped at a very discreet place. It is even more discrete in the evening.
One by one, everyone got out of the mud pool, and as they did, the mud started to fall from their bodies, especially leaders and four other people, as the mud that was present on their body started to slide down. Their clean and pristine clothes are revealed while others have mud on the various places on their bodies, who they are trying to get clean in various ways.
When I came out of the mud pool, mid-on, my body also started to fall, but the process was very smooth, smoother than five of them, it looked like a layer of mud peeling down from my body. Some seemed surprised seeing that, but nobody commented on it.
After everyone got the mud off their bodies, the redhead team leader threw the down body in the Mud and minutes later, a huge pipe extended from it, seeing the pipe coming, everyone flew into it, including me.
Abode!
The team leader had thrown down the abode in a mud pool, and now we have entered the abode and walked toward the huge conference table that had thirty-eight seats for thirty-eight people exactly.
"For each mission, we have four days. We will follow our usual practice. Will we spy on the Grimm Monsters for two to three days till we get all the info we need before the attack," said Redhead.
"Kevin, Stephan, Sasha, and new rookie, you will spy first," said the Redhead leader, hearing that many people got surprised seeing the leader choosing to start to look at me, I felt quite uncomfortable seeing all those dangerous gazes locked on me.
"Leader, he is a rookie; if he was caught, he would mess up the whole mission." Objected one Eight Star Golden Elite finally, people had the same question, but they did not dare to ask the redhead.
"His stealth is better than everyone hears, better than Sasha and Marty." replied the leader, hearing that nearly every one got shocked but not me, during the journey in the marsh I felt the gaze of the leader and her soul sense scanning over me many times, so it is obvious she had gotten quite a good idea about my stealth abilities.

Sorry for the random tiny chapters. I structured and uploaded this as a series of scenes, some of which just didn't need to be very long. I could probably attach the "sub-scenes" to previous chapters, but that'd only be covering it up, so I'm not sure its worth it. Anyway if you find them annoying, let me know, and I'll put some more thought into it. I did, at least, make a point of always posting at least a thousand words on any given day (after I noticed the problem), which hopefully mitigates the problem.

The Youngest Pevensie (a narnia fanfiction)
Everyone knows the story of the Pevansie Siblings, their adventure to Narnia, Edmund being enchanted by the witch, Mr Tumnus and of course Aslan. Something everyone forgets is their youngest sibling Sophie. She was just a baby when her siblings were evacuated so she had to stay at home with her mother. However when Edmund and Peter got into a fight at the train station she was 4 and was next to her siblings when they were called back to lead Narnia again. This time she's along for the ride.I own the character Sophie Pevansie and no one else. All rights go to C.S Lewis for the storyline. I'm basing it off the movie.
