Chapter 818 - Black Market
Sup!
The door of the car closed, and it sped past me as it dropped me off in front of the small church-like building. If I did not know it is an entrance to the Black Market, I would have thought it was some church.
I am having a problem thinking about the entrance of the Black Market through the church, it feels quite ironic. The one who set up such an entrance must have a good sense of humour.
But seeing there were tens of people entering inside, I started to walk toward the entrance. The Black Market of the Warzone is completely different, not that I went to the black marks of other areas.
From the map Deacon has provided, the black market seemed to have many entrances. I picked this place because it was closest.
F.u.c.k!
I entered inside like everyone else as I did, I found there are multiple teleportation formations packed in small space, there are a total of four teleportation formation, and before each teleportation formation, there is the huge disk where people are throwing a huge number of mana crystals people entering inside.
Unlike the teleportation I saw in the exit of the Airport, there is no need to scan id here and show the pass, as long as I put the Mana crystals into the disk I would be allowed to enter the Black Market.
Buzz!
I watched for a few seconds before I walked toward the teleportation gate and unloaded the three hundred thousand mana crystals that I needed. Just as I did, I heard a buzz and walked into the teleportation formation.
"Good God!"
Everything turned black for a moment before another scene appeared in front of my eyes, seeing that I couldn't help but mutter in shock.
When I entered the city, I first thought I would be teleporting to some secret location which was very hidden, likely underground, but I did not expect it to be wide open.

The teleportation formation had teleported me outside the Warzone, I am currently inside a small city size forcefield dome, in here everywhere I look I saw all types of Stores from street peddlers selling on space to the high-end supermarkets that expensive stuff that even I could not buy.
These Stores sell all kinds of stuff, from the expensive Monster to contraband drugs, everything is available, no wonder people prefer the black market to buy some not so legal stuff.
I felt quite lost seeing such a scene but also felt the desire to explore, but I quickly squashed it down and opened the map that Deacon had given me and walked toward the Store she had mentioned.
Soon I reached the Hearsay that Deacon had mentioned, its big store and when I looked at ist catalog, I found it boasted quite an impressive collection. It sold everything, Artifacts, Information, Methods, Herbs you name it.
"Excuse me, can you point me toward the Xavier." I asked the girl who was sitting on the help desk, "Please wait a minute. I will call him for you." she said my inquiry. I nodded and waited for her to call Xavier.
Soon I found a scrawny man in the early twenties walking toward me. I was quite surprised to notice that he is above Silver Elite, just a step away from becoming a Golden Elite.
"You have called me?" he asked, "Reya referred you to me, she said you would help me whatever I need," I said directly, hearing Reya's name, he got started a little, there was little fear appearing in his eyes before it disappeared and was replaced by a bright smile.
"She is right, our Store has everything you need, you just have to tell me what it is and I will have it for you," he said with a smile which is way above professional smile, he looked like a shady person that no will trust.
I also did not want to trust him seeing that shady smile on his face, but seeing Deacon had referred him to me, he should be fine as a Platinum level powerhouse would get nothing in deceiving a criminal like me.

"Here are the things I need, did your Store have it," I asked as I forwarded the list I had made on the way. The List is very long, as there is not only material for 3rd and 4th level materials of Domain of Withering Sand, but there is also a list of materials I need for strength potions.
He opened the list and started reading it. As he read, his shady expression became serious, which made him look like an honest salesman that everyone trusts.
"We have all the things you require in our Store, and if you want, we can make everything ready in ten minutes." he said, "Ok!" I said before asking, "Do you have any Speed Type Mystic Methods in your Store."
"Yes, we have a vast gallery of Speed Type Mystic Method, let me take you there," Xavier said after he forwarded the list I had sent him to somewhere.
We walked inside the huge store, we were just walking when I noticed something on the shelf, I bought that thing immediately and typed a new list of things before handing it to him.
The thing I saw is the main ingredient of one potion and the thing in the list are the supplementary ingredients of that potion.
As we finished with that, we took an elevator to the fifth floor before walkins some more before reaching the vast hall where projections of thousands of Books could be seen flying everywhere.
"You only want speed type Mystic Methods or any other type of Mystic Methods too?" he asked, "Only speed type," I replied.
Before knowing I've become a Criminal, I had planned to get a defensive mystic method, but after knowing a death mission in a few hours, I had decided to get Speed type Mystic Method as it is the only thing that will help me run away from the powerful enemy.
Hearing my answer, he pressed a few buttons, and soon hundreds of books projections came flying toward us.
"These are two hundred and seventy-three Speed type methods we have in our collections," he said, looking at the hundreds of books and appearing before us. "Can you sort them according to their power, show me the skills that give maximum speed," I said.
If it were another time, I would have definitely checked every Mystic Method here as if I have encountered these skills in the future, I will be better prepared, but now I simply don't have time to do that.
I have to select a powerful skill as quickly as possible and practice it before the time of the death mission.
"Ok," he said, tapping a few more buttons on his holowatch, and nearly all of the books flew away, leaving only nineteen of them floating around us.
As I looked at the nineteen books remaining, I noticed that sixteen of these books had white covers while the three had the Black cover.
"Why are these three books are different from others?" I asked to see those black cover books. I had looked around the whole hall and found there are very few of these black cover books. They may be less than 1% of all books here.
"These Mystic Methods are very dangerous. They harm the user one way or another," he said with a sheepish smile. "Then why do you sell them?" I asked if they are so dangerous as he said then why sell them.
Selling them would only tarnish the reputation of their store; it is not worth it to sell them for a small profit.
"Because these Methods are very powerful and some people have a way to go around that flaw," he said with a smile on his face.
