Monster Integration Chapter 597

Both of us stopped and wiped the Blood off our lips at the same time; we did not move and just stared at each other.
I could see the clear look of disbelief in its eyes, and I would be too if I had been in its place. There is a difference between sky and earth between our bodies, and due to that we can accompany different amount of occult energy, but despite the difference in occult energy, the power we have produced were nearly the same.
If I had used the occult energy as people usually do, I would have been blown away by its attack, but instead of using the occult energy directly, I merge it with the Swirling Armor.
It not only increse the power of my swirling Armor tremendously, but It also bears lessen the burden that occult energy put on body and soul; in this way, I could use the occult energy for more extended periods.
It may seem fantastic method, but there is a huge drawback, and that is it requires an immense amount of soul energy and reasonable control over all the powers, as swirling Armor uses lots of energies if all them clashed together then that cocktail will blow me apart in tiny pieces of Flesh and Blood.
Bang! Bang!
We kept looking at each other intently for a second, before coming at each other with our fastest speed. Not holding anything back, I activated mini blast under my legs to increse my speed and attack leverage even more.
ClANG!
We clashed again; this time, the clash is more powerful than the last time but unlike last time, we did not take a single step back or puke blood before the clash we have sucked even more—occult energy which increased not only our strength but also our defense.
Clang Clang Clang…
Our weapons clashed at the blurring speed, and sound would have been defeaning if not for the even louder noises coming from above.
We attacked each other, and with every attack, we would take even more occult energy inside our body to make the offense even stronger. I am not only sucking even more occult energy, but I am also spinning the swirls on Swirling Armor for more power.

Though it had reached the limit of Compactness, I wished to use the heat of this battle to break the past limit; things became a little easier to do when your life is on the line.
Thud!
We were intensely fighting when we heard the loud thud, hearing that I know someone had fallen to the ground, whether it is Grimm monster or humans I dont know, I dont know about its condition also but if I had not been busy in the life and death battle, I would have surely had little near it, and the reason is to sense its battle power.
I had tried to sense their battle power, but I reived no response; I have tried it on the wise Guilmaster also but there also I had received no response. The reason is that their power is so strong that whenever tried it, I could sense nothing except for the unfathomable deepness.
But there is always an exception when one is at its limit there its internal defenses loosen a little, that gave one a chance to get a glimpse of their battle power.
However, doing that is extremely dangerous since their power could be above the limit of what one could sense, and thus it backfires on the soul, injuring oneself in return.
But that risk I will be willing to take as it will give me a glimpse of the Target that I have to chase.
Clang Clang Clang…
'It is reaching its limit!" with constant usage of Occult Energy, the monster had reached the limit of the amount of energy it can use, I can see little sign of it over drafting it.
Clang!
I was just thing that when the monster used the force of our clash and to create the distance between us before running away.
"You Will Not Run Away!" I shouted, and the next moment, I activated the mini blast and chased it.
I have experienced its power and knew that it had clear the test means it had also obtained something good and now I want that something good he had received if one could see my eyes, they will find the intense greed hidden in it.

Slice!
I attacked the next moment, my sword cit across its back, if not for it dodging it on time, there would be just a thin line of blood but two halves of the monster.
Bang! Slice!...
Despite receiving an injury, it did not stop, and I did not stop either; I continue to follow him across the battlefield. If it had been little weaker, I would have able to kill this Grimm monster in a single attack, but it is had similar power like me, and that is why despite having a clear advantage, I was unable to land a fatal blow on it.
Slice Slice Slice….
It started running all over the battlefield, and I followed it and used in every chance of land an injury on it, on chase, I have come across many Grimm monsters, and I have killed them if they came in my and the Werewolfs way.
In the fifteen minuits of the chase, I have already killed near thirty Grimm monsters, and in these thirty Grimm monsters, there were two weak Eight Star Elites, which's a heart pierced by my sword.
Early when the battle started, I enjoyed decapitating the monster, but I soon realized that it is not wise choice economically as decapitating the head, I was wasting 20% of Mana Crystals I will be harvesting from the Grimm monster, so I chose the stabbing in chest. However, I still decapitate the Grimm monster when I have no choice.
Here every Grimm monster I have killed will be mine. There are thousands of drones above that are tracking and recording every movement of everyone, so one did not have to worry about the monster they have killed taken by someone.
Ten more minuits passed and kept chasing it, and now its back is wholly ridden with the injuries, even with its terrifying vitality, it has problem healing all the wounds I have bestowed on it.
These were not the normal wounds but the wounds that had been infested by my rule powers and Occult Energy.
Clang! Puh Puh Puh…
It stopped running suddenly and used its ax to block my attack; the block had cost it a few mouthfuls of blood, which had bits and pieces of its internal organ mixed.
"Bastard, you forced me to do this!" It shouted with extreme anger, and there is also small unwillingness could be seein in it, which quickly turned into firmness.
As it finished speaking, I felt its aura rise as it started to take more energy, and seeing that I heaved a sigh of relief and sucked the Occult energy to the limit of my body.
I have been holding back some of my strength till now, and reason is, I feared that it received some mystical life-saving Artifact from the Grand palace, this is reason why I chased it but did not dare to kill it outright, since it might trigger that life-saving artifact but seeing it over drafting the Occult Energy, I am now sure that it had not received such artifact and could use my full power.
CLANG!
Puh Puh Puh…
My sword clashed on its ax, I had reached the big shock, but it started to puke blood and take tens of steps back, seeing its desperate move failed, a look of horror appeared in its eyes, and it began to running away again.
I could see cracks forming on its dried skins as it kept over drafting the Occult energy to run away. The occult energies side effects are very severe, the occult energy it using making ist skin dried and forming cracks on it like a parched soul.
Slice Slice Slice….
I did not hold back and kept an attacking attack of mine would give it seriously injured, and with every attack would make it even more injured.
As time passed, its body reached the limit of the amount of overdraft occult energy it can take and started to decay slowly, and that decay started to slow it down little by little.
Puchi!
Ahhh!
Finally, ten minutes later, I was able to pierce its heart from behind, it wanted to take me down with it, but sadly, that attempt of it failed miserably as I burned its heart apart the second I pierced its heart.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
