Monster Integration Chapter 468

CLANK! Puh puh puh….
Thank God I was very vigilant when I entered through the door in the hall of Altars, I was attacked by the leader of the Grimm race monsters.
This Tigerman is very strong, just one attack of it was enough to make me vomit the blood.
This attack was at its full strength, not only it had summoned its Totem Spirit but it had also used its occult skill, otherwise simple attack from it would not be able to injure me internally.
"Hehe, you would have a chance to be alive if you hadn't interfered in the fight earlier but now you have no chance to leave this tower alive." said the Tigerman and attacked me with its metallic claws.
Clank! Puh...
I vomited another mouthful of blood, after the clash, if I am not wrong then this Tigerman is a little stronger than the 4th guild challenger.
CLANK CLANK CLANK…..
It kept launching the flurry of the attack at me, giving no chance to properly defend myself.
"Give up! You dont stand a chance against me, if you give up now I promise to give you quick death!" said the Tigerman, stoping from its flurry of attacks.
Wiping my bloodied mouth from my sleeve, I looked at the Tigerman with a smile.
"Well its true, I will not be able to defeat you alone but with my partner, you won't be able to last more than five minuits," I said to Tigerman and asked Ashlyn to come out.
There are no restrictions in the hall of Altars about summoning one's monsters.
"Chew Chew…."
Ashly came out of me and started to chirp at the Tigerman fiercely.
"Hahahahaa….."
"A little bird and one that is at Level 5, you want to tell me you will defeat me with the help of this little birdy which I could eat with a single bite," Tigerman said while laughing loudly, it is laughing so loudly that even tears started to come out of its eyes.

"Chew Chew!"
"Oh little birdy is angry at me, I AM SO SCARED!," said Tigerman with comic voice seeing Ashlyn turn angry.
I shook my head seeing that, this Tigerman really infuriated Ashlyn, its going pay the price of infuriating soon.
The Tigerman about to mock Ashlyn again when it saw Ashlyn summoning fireball and that fireball emitting intense fluctuation. Seeing that, it jumped at Ashlyn but I had already guessed, so I also jumped to intercept it.
"Fuck off!"
It said as it bore down its claws at me, wanting to swat me away like a fly.
Clank!
My sword clashed against its claws and both of us blew back with me faster than it but it was enough, Ashlyn had more than enough time to make her special fireball which is the only the size of a small pearl.
I am not the only one who gained the inspiration from the blood drop, Ashlyn had gained more than me, whenever she has the time she would always comprehend from the blood drop.
The pearl of fire she had sent to the Grimm monster extremly dangerous as not only it is made of a very concentrated fire which almost made it semi-solid, it also contains Rule of Sunfire and Killing.
Sensing the danger from the pearl, the Tigerman wanted to avoid it but the pear was to fast that withing a moment it crashed against the Grimm monster.
I thought that pearl would definitely crash against the heart of the Tigerman but it somehow saved it's heart as it crashed against its shoulder.
Ahhhh…
As the pearl crash against the shoulder of the Grimm race monster and instead of blasting on the crash, it had silently seeped inside the shoulder of the Grimm race monster and the next second very loud scream come out of Tigerman's mouth.

CLANK!
Ahhhh…..
I wanted to use that moment to launch the sneak attack at the monster but its senses were really sharp as it had stopped my sword with its claws but just as it did that, another silvery pearl seeped into its stomach and another painful scream came out of its mouth.
Ahhhh….. Ahhhhh….Ahhhh…..
Ashlyn and I worked seamlessly, whenever the Tigerman tried to attack Ashlyn I would obstruct it and by that time Ashlyn would launch her silvery pearls.
The pain and the injuries that the silver pearl gives made the Tigerman so infatuated that it went to frenzy completly losing the reason.
In its frenzy, the Tigerman became really strong as it started to fight instantly, it became really dangerous that I had to use every ounce of my strength to stop it from going after Ashlyn and midst of that I have received quite a lot injuries.
Thud!
Finally Ashlyn's Silver pearl able to hit the temple of the Grimm monster, killing it by melting its brain.
Ashlyn must have launched about fifty of those fire pearls each one is aiming at either monster heart or brain but the monster had always avoided it with the expense of other injuries.
If I would be in its place I would have done the same, with the terrifying vitality that Grimm monster had, as long as any fatal attack didnt injure their hearts and head, they would always be fine.
"Your fire Pearls are way stronger than I thought!" I Praised, three days ago Ashlyn had told me, she had developed the new move and it is very powerful but I did not take it seriously but now seeing the result, I could tell that the offensive power of the fire pearl is a lot stronger than any of my move.
Chew Chew!
Ashlyn chirped complacently saying 'didn't I tell you.'
I did not touch the body of Tigerman instead sat on the corner and started drinking potions to heal my injuries, as, for others, be is Grimm race monsters or humans, Ashlynn's fire pearls are enough to kill them.
After drinking potions, I took a good look at the hall. The hall is pure white with six Altars which are floating center of the Hall, each of the Altar is shrouded in the white forcefield.
These six altars would only open when only six people remain in the other, if there is more then one have to make that number to six.
I have read that all the fortune in this realm come with Ruthless tint but I did not expect it to experience on my very first day in the realm.
Time passed by but no one came but I am not worried, though the tests are hard they can be cleared as long one tried enough.
Twenty-something minuits later the gate glowed and the Grimm race monster came out with High spirit but when it saw the body of its leader, the expression on its face changed drastically.
It had opened its mouth to say something but before it could, it saw a tiny silvery pearl coming at me at very fast and its about to swung its sword to counter that silvery pearl but it was too late as the silvery pearly already crashed into its head.
Thud!
Its body fell on the ground with the thud, the last expression on his face before its death was utter fear.

Nights of Sambria: And the Wish of Light
“I discovered a secret. One I desperately wish could have stayed hidden. It was locked away, concealed in a fantastical world on the doorstep of 7 billion people who stayed utterly oblivious to it. If they will be spared the terror that is coming, I can’t begin to imagine. Know that a forgotten heritage of a dwindling people whispered, unknowingly sending a call to the ancient mysteries of the world. Something listened. And now events are set in motion that could force the earth on a course of terrible change. I am being hunted and have run out of time. There were no stories about it. No legends. Not even scribbles. Yet, the threat of it is real and that’s why I’m writing this warning with shaking hands. So pay attention those who read this, be careful of what lies waiting cloaked in the darkness. That which made their home the lost places of this world.” She folded the letter with a shuddering breath and stared back in the direction from where the noise reverberated through the halls. It was of stone doors shattering one by one. The chances of getting out safely were all but gone. The letter in her hand was all warning they would have. It dropped into one of the Wells and all that could be done now was hope it was found in time, if at all. -- This was my very first large story. ;) I started writing it years ago. Was fun, was difficult, but in the end, it is a story I hope that will inspire. The prologue is in first person perspective and the rest of the story in 3d. Just a little heads-up :P It is a fantasy epic with a contemporary twist for the start. The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known. Remember to leave ratings and reviews. I'm quite interested in hearing your thoughts on the story. ;) Enjoy reading, Omri Hope

Solstice Anthology
A collection of short stories I've written over the past few years, the centerpiece being "Solstice" itself: On the Winter Solstice, the wind whispered. It roared and blew across the world, and reached even the Heavens above. With it, the great cold of winter flooded across that higher plane, and the gods staggered. They felt the golden dust of their divinity drift away from them, and the message of that wind became clear… This Winter will never end so that the Earth will.
