Monster Integration Chapter 206

Fatty's sad expression suddenly became twisted and cruel smile come across his face.
His already small eye had become smaller, he looked like the villain of those low-grade movies.
"Dylan go catch him?" said fatty to the mid-level specialist boy next to him.
Just as fatty said, specialist stage boy increased his speed suddenly and started to come closer.
Seeing him coming closer, I drank another mana potion and increased my speed a little.
That fatty did not seem to have speed type skill, normally most people won't buy speed type skill, especially Grade 1 skill because of they too much of mana.
Instead, they focus on getting attack and defensive type skill as much as they can.
Believe it or not, speed type Grade 1 Skill takes more mana than another type of skill.
If I activate Lively Wind at its full power, my whole mana drains in just twenty seconds, that's how much mana speed type skill took.
Normal it would take me more than an hour to reach the place I am but now I am running using my skill, it will take me ten to twelve minutes to get out prairie and get a signal on my holowatch.
As long as I got a signal, all will be golden.
I just have to keep wasting time, the soon I get out of the prairie, the more chances of my getting alive would be.
Whenever Dylan tried to get close to me, I will increase my speed, so there will be always a distance between us.
The chase kept going on for full three minutes and soon that fatty understood my strategy.
"Dylan, are you idiot attack him with your long-range skill!" shouted fatty at Dylan.
I was hoping this wouldn't happen but now they are going to attack me, then this leaves me with no option.

"Ashlyn distract him!" I said to Ashlyn who is quietly sitting on my shoulder all this time.
"Chew chew!" she chirped excitedly and before Dylan could activate the skill, she started to rain small fireball at him.
Small bangs could be heard as small fireballs rained on Dylan but it did not do much him except giving him a scalding sensation.
He had already activated all his artifacts including his masks as a precaution against me and Ashlyn fireballs are not powerful enough to him any harm.
Doing him any harm by Ashlyn attacks was never was my intention, my real intention was the intention.
The intention of her attacks was to give me enough time to drink the life potion and launch my attack.
Fire Strike! I said in my mind and launch all three silver bolts through my sword.
One is toward his head, second is toward his chest while third is toward his torso.
I am launching these attacks from intention to kill.
My three bolts of fire are powerful enough they could able to piece the Grade 1 artifacts.
As three bolts traveled near him, he quickly produces large shield which covered both his head and the chest.
"Pang! Pang! Puch!" "Ahhh!" two of my Firebolts had been thwarted by his shield.
The two firebolts were able to piece his grade 1 shield but stopped by the protection of his mask and armor as they had already lost half of their power as they pierced through his shield.
The third bolt though hit on the spot, there was no extra protection of the shield, my firebolt directly piercing through his torso.
Dylan screamed due to injury and fell back.
I got a little surprised seeing him fall back, though the firebolt pierced through his torso, the injury is not that heavy to stop him like that.

Well it same trouble of shooting him in the legs, that would have my next course of action seeing, his heart and head is protected by the shield.
Fire strike is a skill that shoots concentrated shots of fire, it only useful when it hit the chest or head.
I think that Dylan fell because he is scared, he had experienced its power firsthand, if I got chance and able to hit his head or chest, he would surely die.
He probably did that to save himself and he got a pretty good excuse.
''Useless!" Fatty cursed loudly, ''friend now, you have left me no choice but to take action myself!" Said fatty.
I quickly became vigilant, I increased my speed and also increased the size of my shield, similar to that of Dylan earlier.
Fatty upped his right and something brown had started to materialize in his hand.
Earth Spear! I immediately guessed the name of the skill, fatty is about to launch.
This is one most powerful grade 1 skill I've ever seen, I've seen some people from the organization used this skill.
This skill I called powerful enough because even at being Grade 1 skill, this skill was able to injure the monsters same level as a caster in the space realm.
Some corporal grade had even able to kill monsters using this skill smartly, although they have to use tens of these spears unlike my fire strike, still, it tells something about its power.
"Take this!" fatty shouted and earth spear sped up toward me, piercing through the air.
I did not feel scared seeing earth spear is coming toward me.
I flipped through the air and put my shield in front of me, I could have dodged this move by supplied more mana to Lively Wing but I decided to defend.
"Bang!" the earth spear crashed against my knight grade shield.
Using the force of the attack I jumped back, putting some distance between me and fatty.
I am sure that a fatty diet has a speed type of skill, this fatty could have easily able to buy speed type skill after hunting for week or two but he didn't.
Now he must have used his choice loudly in his mind.
"Hahaha, a friend I have to say you are quite good, you are making me use my full power!" Fatty said and his speed increased suddenly.

Grim Beginnings
For most, ghosts and monsters were fantasy. For Tessa Byrne-Reyes, they were a constant in her daily life as a reaper. The legendary gods and creatures of mythology were, to her, historical figures. From a young age, she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, possessing what she saw as a curse but what her family considered a gift. It was her birthright, to use her abilities to guide the deceased to the afterlife of an eternity in peace or in torment. Her classmates viewed her as "the fainting girl" who would pass out in the middle of a lesson with inexplicable injuries. She experienced each death in the town of Belmont Falls, from the mundane to the gruesome. A gunshot wound in the gut, broken ribs, her heart ceasing to beat for several minutes. No one understood what caused these incidents but over the years, she gained a reputation for being abnormal. While Tessa is the freak of Belmont Falls, Fin Belmont, the charming rebel and son of the richest man in town, is her polar opposite. Knowing each other for years but never saying more than a dozen words between them, one night changes everything, thrusting them into each other's unfamiliar and daunting worlds. Together, with the help of her best friend/his ex-girlfriend Elena, they begin to unravel secrets about their town and their pasts, learning that some secrets are better left buried and grudges can be held for centuries.
