IN THE LIANXI GROUP'S WAREHOUSE
Bruukkk!
A middle-aged man was pushed to the ground by several people dressed and wearing dark glasses. His hands and feet tightly tied with ropes.
"What… what do you want from me?" This man spoke with a trembling body. He was afraid.
A handsome and young man wearing a black coat, walked up to him and sat squatting in front of him while pulling some of that man's hair.
He said "are you the Director of Pei Group, Mr. Pei Hu?" he asked.
"Who are you? Why are you kidnapping me like this? What do you want from me?" said director Pei with sweat all over his body.
"How dare you marry my woman?" He muttered.
Director Pei opened his eyes wide, he felt he had met this great man.
"You ... you are the Chairman of Lianxi Group. Kim Yohan?" said Pei Hu trembling.
"Hmmm, apparently you recognize me. If you dare to do it, I will make you unable to be a man again for the rest of your life" said Yohan with a grin.
"This man is very dangerous, I must not fight him," said director Pei in his heart.
"No ... I don't dare, please let me go" he said.
Yohan took off the man's hair, and stood up.
"This time I forgive you, but if you dare to mess with me! Don't blame me for being cruel!"
Yohan continued walking toward the warehouse door.
"Throw this old man into the streets!" he told his bodyguards.
Yohan left the warehouse.
Drrtt..drrtt ..
Yohan's cell phone vibrated, the screen said the little Rabbit was calling.
His face's expression immediately changed, from angry to happy and smiling.
He immediately accepted the call.

"Little rabbit, you miss me?" he said.
"You! You bullshit! What are you saying?!" Tiara replied nervously.
"Then, why did you call me? Maybe you want to marry me? hahaha" said Yohan, laughing.
"No! I just hit the wrong one!" said Tiara, then hung up the phone.
"You crazy man, psychopath, pervert! He can't help me." Tiara was restless and she couldn't sleep all night.
Time went on.It didn't feel like the morning had come.
The bridal make-up team had arrived and they were ready to dress Tiara with their best make-up.
"Hurry! Hurry, dress her up pretty! I think director Pei will be impatient to see his bride soon," Tara said sarcastically.
Bruaakk!
Tiara slammed and broke everything near her until all of that scattered on the floor.
"Go all of you! I don't need you! Hurry and go!" Tiara said, throwing whatever was near her to dispel the people Tara ordered.
Tiara tried to escape but she failed.
The bodyguards that Tara had placed in front of her door caught her.
It seemed like this time she really had to follow their wishes and waited for the right opportunity to escape from their grasp.
"My dear sister, you should just obey. There's no best choice for you but to marry that old man. Hmm, it's your own fault why you don't want to beg that little monster Yohan to marry you? Yes, at least he's younger, hahaha." Tara laughed with satisfaction.
She felt she had succeeded in destroying Tiara's life.
"You are a devil! What did I do to you?! Why do you hate me so much?!" said Tiara, gritting her teeth.
"Hate you? Hahaha yes. I even more than just hate you. I want to have everything you have, only for myself," Tara replied, standing crossed her arms and turning her back to Tiara.

Tiara could only be silent. Her mind was only filled with her desire to quickly escape from a place that was no longer worthy of being called a home or family.
How could her father not care about her fate? She just realized that all this time that her father made her as a pawn to get profit in his business.
"Ha... ha... ha, are you sure I will break easily? You just remember my words carefully that I will repay every pain you have given me so far," said Tiara, laughing like crazy.
Tara ordered her bodyguards to bring Tiara to the wedding venue, so that this event could quickly end.
If Tiara was married, she wouldn't be able to take Jonatan and company from her hands again.

Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★
