Lady Boss, Please Spoil Your Husband! Chapter 355

Song Zhihao's home was located at the Imperial Jade Condominium, one of the most expensive and well-secured places to establish your home.
The people who lives here or owns a unit are typically multi-millionaires, famous celebrities, politicians, lawyers, and of course, doctors like Song Zhihao.
Living up to its name, both exterior and interior of the building circulates a grand and extravagant atmosphere. The inside theme of the building was obviously based on the radiance and beauty of the imperial jade gemstone.
In the lobby, it was as if the walls were made with the gemstone itself. There were also white and gold accents to compliment the brilliant green.
A good number of people could be seen lounging around, some were on the phone while some were conversing with one another. Surprisingly, the chatterings were respectfully loud; just the perfect volume for people to not find it annoying and distracting.
"Good afternoon, valued guests, how may I be of assistance?" One of the receptionist greeted the lovely couple with a polite smile on her face.
"We're here to visit Doctor Song Zhihao." Ethan straightforwardly replied.
"Please hold on for a few moments while I check for confirmation." She dipped her head in a short bow before shifting her gaze towards the computer's monitor.
"Here we are...Doctor Song Zhihao is expecting two visitors around noon...male and female..." As the receptionist reads further, her heart nearly stopped beating.
She turned her attention back to the plainly dressed but gorgeous couple, and asked rather slowly, "May I...confirm these valued guests' names, please."
"Ethan Li and Lillie Bai." Lillie answered for the two of them.
The gears in the receptionist's brain started to move.
What are these two prominent figures' purpose for visiting Doctor Song Zhihao? Is it a private check-up? Or is it really just a simple visit between friends, as they claim?

Nevertheless, it's not her place. She has no rights to poke her nose into other people's business. Who knew what could happen to her if she decided to open her mouth regarding these two devils affair to the general public or the media.
"Please input your name and signature in this logbook." She picked the logbook and a fountain pen from her desk and hands them to Ethan. While the couple were occupied, the receptionist grabbed the telephone and dialed Song Zhihao's number.
"Doctor Song, your guests have arrived."
[Alright, thank you for the heads-up.]
With a final stroke of the pen to complete their signature, Lillie and Ethan returned the logbook. Then, the receptionist gave them a keycard for the elevator.
She bowed her head once again and said, "Thank you for your cooperation, please enjoy your visit."
Lillie and Ethan stopped in front of the elevator doors, waiting for it to come down, along with four people and child.
When it arrived, the two followed behind the ones who were ahead of them, then settled at the far back. The elevator was large enough to fit in ten people, so there was a considerably good amount of space between the passengers.
As the elevator brought them further up, an uncomfortable churn begin to build up in Lillie's stomach.
And the elevator stopping to drop off the passengers to their floor had only worsen it.
Just how far more before they reached Song Zhihao's floor?
Noticing her discomfort, Ethan worriedly asked in a quiet voice, "Something wrong? How are you feeling?"
"Oddly nauseous." She replied before muttering, "Probably motion sickness."
Lillie feels like she's about to throw up. Oh how she ahbors this sensation.
"We're almost there." He consoles, engulfing her body into his embrance and gently rubbed his hand on her back. "Look outside and try not to think about it."

Drawing her face that was buried onto his chest, Lillie listened to his advise and looked through the transparent enclosure of the elevator and onto the beautiful scenery.
In all honestly, Ethan's presence and warmth was enough to keep her mind off of certain things.
Suddenly, Lillie felt something tug the edge of her shirt. Peering down, she saw a little girl, probably between the age of 3 or 4.
"Is big sister not feeling well?" Her brown doe eyes stared at her with every curiosity and innocence a young child such as her should have.
Her long black hair was gathered into two cute ponytails, making her cherubic face and chubby pink cheeks stand out more.
"Sweetie," A woman stood next to the little girl and brought her into her arms. She gave the girl a gentle yet stern look and said, "You shouldn't bother other people."
She looked at the couple, saying apologetically, "I'm sorry if she was rude. She really can't help but approach people she finds really interesting."
"But momma, the pretty big sister doesn't look well." Impressively, she could speak intelligibly without the typical stuttering or babbling.
"Now, now, darling," The woman, now identified as the child's mother, gently chastised.
"It's alright, she wasn't being a bother." Lillie assured. "Rather, I'm impressed of her keen eyes."
The woman chuckled. "She got that from her father. He's quite a detective himself."
"So big sister wasn't feeling well after all? Do you need a doctor? Our neighbor's a doctor, I can give you an appointment with him right now!"
Lillie and Ethan both chuckled at the little girl's enthusiasm.
"Thank you for your concern, little one. But it's just a simple wooziness from the elevator."
"Oh, oh! I know that one, uh..." The little girl pressed her bottom lips on her index finger, assuming a serious thinking pose.
"Aiyo, a carbon copy of her father indeed." The child's mother sighed in amusement.
"Big sister must be pregnant then!"
This has certainly made the couple a bit taken aback.
"I think the condition you're looking for is called motion sickness, sweetie."
"Oh yeah! Motion sickness, I knew that."
No, no, your first guess was spot-on.
Dinggg!
"Oh, this is your floor too? What a coincidence!" The woman said when she saw the couple get off the elevator as well.
"We were actually here to visit a friend. And I believe the little one may know him very well."
The little girl gasped excitedly. "You're friends with Doctor Haohao too?"
There are only two units in this floor—theirs and Doctor Haohao's—so the little girl immediately concluded that they're Doctor Haohao's friends.
Pfft, Haohao? Never knew his good friend was quite popular with children nowadays. Ethan will tease him relentless for it, hehe.
