Lady Boss, Please Spoil Your Husband! Chapter 341

"Welcome back, bro."
"Good to be back."
Drunk Python and Blood Venom exchanged grins and gave each other a brotherly hug with a firm pat on the back.
The two former Vermillion Dragon Commanders are currently wearing their signature masks and outfits.
Older members of White Bird recognized them on the spot, but didn't made any move to attack or apprehend them as they were already informed beforehand of their advent.
The two Vermillion Dragon Commanders were even pleasantly surprised to be greeted with an amicable nod of acknowledgement. Rare ones were small, polite smiles.
None of them expected this welcome, nor the congenial aura they extrude.
Seems like the saying 'yesterday's enemy is today's friend' wasn't unbelievable or naive as most assumed.
If this was the past, there's no denying that bloodshed will break out once White Bird and Vermillion Dragon cross paths.
And if you told these two Commanders' younger selves that not only did they get passed the gates and set foot inside White Bird's headquarters without being rained by bullets, they would've thought you were crazy, and would even bring you back to the psychiatric hospital.
Sounds far-fetched, but all those years ago, none had actually managed to kill one another due to the sheer alikeness of their strengths and prowess.
That's probably why these earlier generation members' grudge or vendetta wasn't that deep, and are willing to let bygones be bygones.
But if you would actually look at it closely or in outsider's perspective, the so called 'bloodshed' was somewhat of a good natured brawl, but with blood and gore.
Right at this moment, the two Commanders are inside the heart of White Bird headquarters, the conference room. The interior looks as if it came straight out a movie where it's all about mafias and stuff.

It screams immeasurable wealth, power, and influence. There were priceless paintings hanging on the walls that were seen in black markets, a gold chandelier hanging in the middle, above the long table, that was probably made up of real gold, decorated with real diamonds.
It was a different room, Blood Venom noted. This wasn't the conference room where he and the others usually gather for commissions.
"I'm having goosebumps." He heard Drunk Python spoke beside him. "The rich and powerful vibes I'm getting here feels really different."
Blood Venom silently agrees with him. Faced with all of these extravagance, they shouldn't be affected by awe. They had these too, back then in Vermillion Dragon.
There's just something inexplicable with White Bird. Unfortunately, they couldn't point out what.
Like his old comrade, this was also the first time Blood Venom enters their former arch-nemesis' domain, even if he had already joined forces with them for months.
The gatherings he's included in usually consist of him on a video call. There's really no serious reasons why he didn't wanted to go in person.
He wasn't worried about the possibility that this might've been a trap all along, and White Bird was really planning to eradicate both fake and real Vermillion Dragon.
He's not worried about that, for obvious reasons that his lucky boss' wife is freaking White Bird!
Many years of being inactive from all of those actions he did during his prime and youth didn't do him good.
He didn't looked anything like the Blood Venom everyone in the Underworld feared and respected.
So, after White Bird and his boss found and reached him, he stormed out of his house, faced the sun and society again, then hit the gym.
It was excruciating, but he managed to get his fit and healthy built back.

And he was finally able to wear his old clothes again, more importantly!
Goodbye to the fats and unhealthy habits he accumulated from watching anime and playing games all throughout the years he left the Underworld!
"White Bird will be arriving a bit late." An Xiuling, or known in the Underworld as Enyo, approached the two males.
She looked at Drunk Python and continued, "While we wait, we'll fill you in with the details of our alliance's goal, and possibly answer your queries as best as we could."
"That's greatly appreciated, Enyo." Drunk Python responded with a polite smile.
The mask may obscure Enyo's features, but Drunk Python could tell that she's a beauty. However, he had no desire to search for a lady he could court.
His heart still ache after finding out that his long-time crush was his boss' wife.
"There are also snacks and drinks prepared for everyone. Feel free to indulge yourselves while we discuss, no need to feel shy." She pointed at the long table where there's a huge spread laid out for them.
The two thanked her. And with that, the Elders present and two Commanders, sat down on their respective seats.
While the boss hasn't arrived yet, White Crow—Elliot—as the second-in-command, called for the commencement of the meeting.
In Drunk Python's mind, he couldn't help but be amazed by everything and everyone in White Bird.
D*mn, these people are so cool.

Dragons were the apex predators of the magical world, feared for their strength and intelligence. They stood at the pinnacle of creation, until mankind fueled by fear and envy banded together and struck them down as the greatest threat to the continued existence of their kingdoms. Peace reigned for many years across the continent, until an accident in the Magocracy of Ken turned one of the most powerful mage lords into a power mad lich. Raising an undead army and creating a cult that worshipped him like a god, he cut a bloody swath across the continent in a bid to create his own domain. A great alliance consisting of the Kingdom of Light, the Magocracy of Ken, the Forest Kingdom of the Elves, the Mountain Kingdom of the Dwarves, and the Wild Tribes of the West rose up and the high lich was defeated, his armies destroyed, and his cult scattered. Still recovering, the world is a constant state of petty power struggles and back biting between nations. Border disputes are common and the constant fighting has taken a toll on the populations of all the nations. Of course, none of this has much bearing on the everyday life of a an ordinary young orphan in the care of a Temple run home. Or does it? *Current Word Count as of 8/4/18: 59,415 I am shooting for at least one update a week. Also, if you see any mistakes let me know and I will fix them. Cover by!*

Ocean Attuned - A timeloop LitRPG
In the mids of industrialization, Liana, a girl of almost twelve, awakens her flow and follows her newly awakened calling, the ocean, and thus the path of the last remaining god. With the advent of industry, one's status and the accompanying skills slowly grow to be secondary as people choose more recreational skills and classes. The clear exception are flow bringers. Humans with an increased affinity towards flow and attunements are the only real remnants of the age of gods and mysticism. Terrors on the battlefield, saints in hospitals, saviours during drought, are just some examples of the wonderous abilities they display. As civilization grows less dangerous so does the stress that is often associated with the awakening of the flow reduce and only the real talents remain. Please be aware that this is a first draft at best. Tag/Genre analysis: Action: A theme that will appear in the story at some point (probably 15+ chapters in) Adventure: Yes Fantasy: Yes Magic, Beasts, and other fantastical elements are totally at home here. Tragedy: Life is not always fun. For what is fun when there are no downsides. I don't know how heavily I am going to lean into this genre. I want to but don't expect too much. Loop: Yes, though I will not divulge anything else. Just be aware that there isn't nearly as much looping as in MoL for example. Female Lead: Yes, Liana is female. Dungeon: Yes, there are dungeons. Yes, they will get explored. LitRPG: Yes, read the first chapter if you want an example. Magic: most definitely because who doesn't like calling lighting down from the heavens. (Disclaimer: No actual lightning will be called down from the heavens) Mythos: There are gods. So maybe, I don't know if that is enough to qualify? Progression: yes Slice of Life: There is plot, and the story will mostly be about that plot, but there will also be downtime because there can't always be action. The first "loop" especially the first 20-30 chapters will be heavily SoL. And afterward there will be a lot less. Profanity: The ocean (see title) includes sailors and we all know how the stereotypical sailor is. Gore: Hmmm, some but I will have it be not graphic at all.
