Lady Boss, Please Spoil Your Husband! Chapter 315

It took them 30 minutes sprinting through the thick woods before the sound of gushing water reached their ears.
There's no need for Lillie to usher the direction where Sirius and Deimos have to go, already knowing exactly where they're going as it was the only place she visits most often.
The two stallions slowed down then eventually halted by the edge of a river with a beautiful waterfall surging above them.
The water emitted a lovely blue hue that allured many to just jump in and feel its coolness, while the surrounding place was filled with lavish greens and rock formations, completing the picturesque view of Mother Nature.
Lillie and Ethan dismounted from their respective stallions and slid the satchel off their shoulder to pour the apples out on the grassy ground for Sirius and Deimos to snack on.
"Remove your clothes." Lillie briefly instructed.
"We're going for a swim?" Ethan incredulously asked. Well, he wouldn't have sounded incredulous it if the weather wasn't as chilly as it is today.
The cool breeze swept past, his skin prickled when the vapor from the waterfall touched him, allowing him to estimate just how icy cold it was.
Without a doubt, they're in for a bedrest for a couple of days if they dived right in on an ice bath.
"We are, but not here." She answered, as if that didn't made Ethan all the more puzzled.
He watched her causally stripping out of her clothes and disguise, leaving only her sports bra and a matching panty, and put it all inside her satchel.
Lillie turned around to see him staring at her intently. She raised an eyebrow and asked, "Why haven't you removed your clothes yet? We don't want them getting wet."
Still confused, Ethan absentmindedly did as told. He put down his satchel with his clothes and disguise in it beside Lillie's on an inconspicuous bush.

He stood there with only his black boxer shorts covering his third leg. Lillie nodded in satisfaction before motioning for him to follow her towards the base of the waterfall.
"Are we going to meditate under the waterfall?" Does his wife wanted them to meditate under it or something?
Perhaps to train their mind and body to withstand the harshness of the cold?
"No, silly. We're going through it." Lillie chuckled. "But if you like the idea, maybe some other time."
"My younger self would've jumped at the chance, but right now, I find the water too cold for my liking." Ethan winced when his bare feet touched the icy water. "And what do you mean by through it?"
"As I've said, we're going through it."
"Repeating it wouldn't make it clear." Ethan huffed. "I would understand what you're talking about if you just stop being roundabout."
He held Lillie's hand in a secured grip as they stepped in the icy cold river that reached their knees, and carefully kicked their legs towards the waterfall.
"I'm really surprised you haven't guessed what I meant already." Lillie teasingly said with a feigned surprise look on her face.
"Well, forgive me for being slow, beloved wife. My brain seemed to have been buffering due to being hit by the master countless times." He dramatically put his hand on his head.
"Don't be so dramatic. I was watching your match and he didn't land a hit on your head." Lillie scoffed and rolled her eyes in amusement.
The surging water above them was only a meter away and Lillie walked in further.
She dragged Ethan behind her until the icy cold water completely engulfed their body, making them to disappear from view.
Ethan instinctively shut his eyes. His body stiffened as the cold water harshly plunged down on them.

He felt Lillie also reacted from the cold as her grip on his hand tightened. However, the tormenting cold was there for only a second before feeling nothing but air.
When Lillie stopped dragging him and let go of his wrist, he opened his eyes and blinked away the water that blurred his vision.
They're inside a cave with tunnels leading through god knows where.
"Ah, so there was a cave. I knew it."
"I'm sure you did." Lillie unconvincingly concurred.
"We're going to the Batcave?" Ethan struck a humorous question. "How about we steal some of Batman's gadgets and the Batmobile?"
"No, we already have our own version of those, remember? Furthermore, both of us are rich enough to afford whatever Batman has, so stealing is unnecessary." Lillie indifferently flicked her wrist.
"Then we're going through a secret tunnel that leads us in another dimension," Ethan looked at Lillie with a straight face. "Because I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case."
The Academy already looks like it was pulled out from the ancient times by an almighty hand and then thrown here in the modern world.
Lillie faintly snorted in amusement. "Close enough."
After a few minutes, Ethan asked, "Where are we really going?"
Bare feet created splashing sounds as they ventured through the dim cave tunnel. Droplets of water dripped on the wet ground, creating an eerie echo, and the air inside was even more chilly than the outside.
"It's a surprise. You'll love it, I promise."
"Couldn't I get a hint at least?"
"No need for a hint, we're already close by."
Ethan grumbled under his breath like an impatient child.

Musings of a Hypocrite
Mortals are weird. They insisted in unity, as well as individualism. More often than not, they're shocked at truth and honesty, but not at falsehood and deceit. They asked questions with multiple answers, and provided answers that begged other questions. They made things to break, they destroyed things to study, they researched things to recreate. Humans, Elves, Beastmen. All of them. Within these contradictions, a miracle might manifest. But this tended to work with a trial and error methodology. Most mortals never got the happy ending. This diary is my journey alongside a few students of mine. In simple terms - they learn, they grow, they fight. They'll journey through centuries of conflict, from the physical to the educational. They'll experience the cruelty and benelovence of all living-kind. They'll experience the consequences of their choices and the blessings of their rewards. They will grow to become useful to me, or die trying like all the others. As for you? The god reading our lives like a book, sitting in your chair without a care in the world? THE WHISPERS IN THIS DARK, CRUEL, AND GHOSTLY WORLD
(Vampires & Humans Vs. Werewolves & Ghosts???)It is the year 2201, and the human race is at war with not only the next evolution of the human race, werewolves, but also against Nature itself. An Ancient race of underground dwellers called vampires live and tries to protect humanity by bringing the human population underground in their habitat. The humans and Vampires live in fear of the werewolves, but that is not all, If this was the worst of it all, then it would have been a rather nice end for a good bedtime story about humans and vampires leaving in harmony underground, but this was not the end and neither is this a bedtime story. Nature (planet) still had big plans for the world, even with the creation of its henchmen, the werewolves (who have no control over themselves at all, merely acting based solely on their biological instincts), that was still not enough for nature. Nature still needed one last thing, something that could give those werewolves orders, tell them what to do, guide them, something that would be a personification of nature itself, something that would be nature's full power, with its wisdom and knowledge, something that would be its symbol. Ghosts.
