Lady Boss, Please Spoil Your Husband! Chapter 293

Before Lillie and her group get past the gates, the security had to thoroughly search through their belongings for any cellular devices, or any gadgets that was deemed a distraction for the students.
Studying at Soaring Dragon Academy means your must turn over your connection to the outside world and give your absolute attention to your studies and training.
But of course, the Academy is not completely ruthless. Students are free to browse the internet in the school's computer laboratories in one particular day every week—with time limit.
"I'm afraid we have to part ways for now." Han Taiyi said with a forlorn smile as they all finally entered the Academy in the lounge area. "Lizheng and I need to pass our reports and receive our rewards then attend classes."
"We enjoyed spending time with all of you. Thank you for letting us join your adventure even if it's only for a short while." Chu Lizheng bowed.
"We enjoyed your company as well." Lillie returned the sobbing Han Taiyi's bear hug. "My offer from before still stands. You two are free to visit us at the Gentle Tempest Courtyard anytime when your schedule permits."
Han Taiyi's face brightens. "You're the best! And if it's not much of a bother...may we receive the lessons we missed from you?"
"Absolutely."
Han Taiyi squealed and attacked Lillie with another bear hug. Students and teachers, who witnessed this, were appalled by her "brash" behavior towards a Grand Disciple.
"Let's definitely go for a soak in the hot spring when Lizheng and I are free. My treat." Han Taiyi generously offered. "Maybe invite that girl from before too? I kinda wanted to know her story; how she end up like that."
A soak in the hot spring requires the bathers to go fully nude. Lillie would be foolish if she accepted that.

Not only would others see her body, but it'll definitely melt her make-up. Also, going inside a warm area would be uncomfortable for someone who wears fake skin.
Lillie didn't reject nor agree to Han Taiyi's offer, but instead, replied, "I'm curious as well, but we mustn't probe on her privacy like that." She patted Han Taiyi's shoulder with a light, scolding tone.
After a long farewell exchanges, the two Sun Students set off to the opposite direction, disappearing through the hallways.
Trailing behind her Senior Brother, Lillie held onto Ethan's biceps as the three of them trod around the maze that is the massive Academy.
Ethan felt like he was suddenly transported in the ancient times, and they were actually inside the imperial palace.
They exited the main building and walked along the open passageways that, instead of walls, pillars sculpted into dragons supported the ceiling.
His eyes wandered all over the stunning and elegant visage of the Chinese garden that seemed to be tended with great care, and was given the most exquisite features he'd ever seen.
The landscape was decorated with beautiful sorts of vegetations, fish ponds with lily pads and flowers floating on the surface, stoned bridges, and hexagonal pavilions.
And since the sun was at its near rest time, Students littered around the vast, open area; maybe to enjoy their after-class break.
A number of few lay on the grassy ground beside a pond taking a nap, others stood by the bridge to enjoy the scenery, and some under the pavilion's shade with some refreshments.
Exiting and entering different buildings later, they finally arrived in front of the imposing, wooden gates of Gentle Tempest Courtyard.
Since the place was quite far away from the main building, the surrounding area was quiet and deserted.
Students that aren't under Grandmaster Wei tutelage wouldn't dare go near in fear of facing Grandmaster Wei's wrath.

The courtyard was surrounded by an equally imposing and intimidating, stoned wall that hides the whole premises.
Carved on the wooden gate was a beautiful, Chinese calligraphy of the courtyard's name.
Grandmasters' courtyards are like a school inside of a school where the direct disciples resides with their respective masters.
There are students as well as teachers who were assigned to the Grandmasters to help them look after their courtyards. The students are not the Grandmasters' disciples, but they receive points as a salary.
There are three Grandmasters in total, and each obviously have their own courtyards.
The main building is the center point of the Academy's terrain. Grandmaster Wei's courtyard is located in the North, Grandmaster Yang in the West, and Grandmaster Xie in the East.
As for the South, the courtyard standing there belongs to the Headmaster.
Death stumbled on the rough, cobblestoned ground when the wooden gate that he was about to push, suddenly swung opened by an elderly man in his late 60's wearing a black changsang robe.
His wrinkly face stretched as he smiled brightly at his second pupil.
"Little flower ah, how could you let your old master wait this long for you to arrive?"

The Card Thief of Culnivar
Deep with the cozy kingdom of Daeton, among the generation-old farmlands and villages, a young farmer’s daughter stumbles upon a dead man. His elaborate clothing has been torn to ribbons, yet his skin remains unblemished. His face is peaceful, and tucked into the hand lying across his chest can be seen a solitary playing card. He is a Ludum Haeres. The last remnant of a Summoner. Numbered among those few capable of changing their destinies. The unseen rulers of the world known as Vesperia, and one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The woman knows none of this. And so, she picks up the card... This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.

Let's just say that he was born under an unlucky star, being wrongfully incarcerated in the galaxy's most infamous private maximum security prison, home to serial killers and many cut-throat criminals. Will Casper be able to prove his innocence and adapt to the cruel and oppressive prison system and rise up the food chain? --------- Alright. Before I start off, this is going to be my first fiction. It could be dropped anytime and there might be random hiatus inbound. This fiction is basically a first draft~ish.(?) So please pardon my two-dimensional characters or my shitty grammar or poor use of descriptive words in this fiction. Doing this purely for fun and it's going to stay that way. Let's take this step by step alright? [There isn't really a set in stone plot drafted so it might flop after a bunch of chapters lmao] Reviews with constructive criticism are appreciated, I will try my best to improve as we go along.
