No wonder her surrounding was dead quiet. Her co-workers were probably turned into stone when they saw the boss walking in their office.

"Would you mind accompanying me to the lobby for coffee first?" She then added, "Seeing as you're not busy at the moment."

Andrea could die happily.

"Miss Houston?" Lillie's voice summoned Andrea's soul back to her body.

"Of course not, miss. I'll gladly join you for coffee." Wow, she didn't stutter. Andrea mentally patted herself in the back.

When Lillie and Andrea's figures disappeared from the staff office, it was as if the curse of being turned into stone was lifted.
