Ethan visibly paled, sweat streamed down from his forehead. He looked as if he was ready to jump anytime time soon, out of Lillie's window to make his grand escape in case the situation comes to worst. ​​

Unintentionally, Ai shortened Ethan's life with her 'innocent' greeting.

His gaze averted themselves away from hers and looked for anymore possible escape route. It was very uncharacteristic of him and it both made Lillie annoyed and concerned at the same time.

She was having a major mix feelings. Should she feel what? Happy? Angry? Upset?

This kind of behavior from the two most powerful figure was unexpected from their usual calm, collected and level-headed demeanor.

And the single cause of this all came from their Artificial Intelligence daughter.

"You called me mommy. Why?" This question not only to sate Lillie's curiosity, but to also decide Ethan's faith.

Ai tilted her head in confusion. "I was not suppose to?"

"Daddy said you're my mommy as soon as my human emotions were inserted. He also said I have 90% of your personality."

Ethan: "Ai...are you trying to kill me?"

"Does mommy...not like Ai?" In the screen, Ai let her head fall with a downcast look in her eyes.

Lillie felt something painfully clench her heart when she saw Ai's heart wrenching expression. A sudden need to hug the little girl engulfed her senses—unfortunately, she does not have a physical body.

"Artificially made or not, you're my daughter. So, how could I not like you?" She cooed in reassurance.

"En!" Her eyes shone once again in vigor. Happy that her mommy Lillie accepted her.

Sadly, happiness does not seem to reach the other person in the room. When Ethan felt a pair of eyes land on him, he was ready to run when a hand quickly pulled his collar.

"Gua?!" He choked when air was momentarily cut off from his wind pipe.

"You made me a mother without my consent. Either way, I have my morals so, I will take responsibility." Behind him, Lillie bitterly smiled.

This situation...really sound familiar..
