Lillie abruptly stopped from her tracks by a rude call. Hearing a loud clicking of heels nearing her, she turned around to face the pregnant woman. Her tall, overpowering figure made the pregnant woman feel inferior in every way but she refused to admit it defeat. ​​

"Do you know that's a VIP elevator? Is it because you're a little pretty you can go around the place everywhere you want?!" Spouting a mouthful of nonsense, the woman wanted Lillie to know who's the boss. With the identity of being the mother of Ethan Li's son, surely anyone would heed her authority.

Unfortunately for her, Lillie ignored her and continue to walk, clearly not interested in hearing any sh*t.

"H..how dare you ignore me! Do you know who I am?! I carry Ethan Li's son! I'm the future Madam Li, so show me some respect!"

"Respect is not given, it is earned." Lillie turned her head to the side, her eyes went dark and cold.

"Tell me, why would I show you respect? Do you deserve it?"

The woman's body trembled by the menacing gaze. Her index finger shook as she pointed it at Lillie in incredulity.

"Y..you.."

Lillie went in front of her until her body towers the pregnant woman. Indicating her superiority by merely standing before her, the pregnant woman appeared to be a helpless mouse being cornered by a lioness.

Bending her body slightly forward until their faces were a few inches apart. Lillie's eyes inspect her up and down before scoffing.

"If he decided to impregnate someone, he would've chose someone prettier than me and with an even more refine and prestigious background than me." Lillie bluntly remarked.

She did not wait for her to refute. The VIP elevator opened once the card, Lillie pulled out, was inserted. The pregnant woman watched how Lillie turned around and faced her with a stance that shows nobility amongst others.

The pregnant woman gritted her teeth and glared at the elevator's doors. Her eyes shone in malicious, murderous intent.

"You'll pay for this." She darkly muttered.

Being informed that there was someone claiming that they carry their child, a normal person should be feeling anxious but, Ethan did not pay attention to such lies. He was busy doing his paper works, he wanted to go home early for his wife. He missed her already.

Suddenly, someone knocked on his door.

"Enter." He answered without averting his attention from the papers, which were held up to his face. He heard the door open then shut.

Ethan assumed it was Yu Ming Lian because of the sound of heels clicking on the floor.

"Is that woman gone?" Ethan felt something was off when hearing no reply.

Ethan still did not removed his gaze from the papers, his mind was being occupied on how he longed to go home to receive his wife's sweet kisses.

"Well? Was the woman, claiming to carry my child, gone?"

"Hardly. She's waiting for you at the lounge."

Hearing an eerily familiar voice, Ethan quickly removed the paper away from his face to see his wife in front of him, all in her splendor.

The way she looked at him felt like there was an invisible force restraining him from his chair.

"L-Lillie."

"So, my dear..." She circled his table before stopping by his side, "...who's the pregnant lady?" Her hand caressed his smooth yet sharp jawline.

Ethan gulped, "I don't know her, I swear!"

Humming softly, Lillie retracted her hand away. Her body suddenly moved closer before sitting down on his lap. Ethan, in all his might, forced his family jewels to calm down.

His was sweating profoundly. Lillie was clearly tormenting him!

"Of course I believe you. As if you'll look at other women when you have me. If it's to satisfy your urges, you could've chosen a better looking one."

W-wife, I'm innocent! I'm clearly innocent and you know it! Yet, why are you teasing me like this?!

Lillie ignored his silent pleas, enjoying his vulnerable state. Then, her thoughts went to the pregnant woman.

If Ethan continue to hold the 'Bachelor' title, women will not stop pursuing and trapping him into marriages. He'll be the main target of women trying to seek his fame and wealth.

Lillie harrumphed; trying to steal her man? You will have to face his mate first—the She-Devil.
