Understanding what Ethan wanted to say, Lillie immediately felt awkward.

Changing into a more comfortable and casual clothing, at exactly five minutes later, Ethan came knocking on her door. Lillie open the door wide enough for him to see her room.

So, it was not an accessory after all. Ethan was relieved that it wasn't a sentimental accessory given to her by a potential lover. But now, he felt that this seem to be worst than a mere sentimental accessory. If Lillie were to wear the box's key, it means that the box's contents were really precious!

Lillie was careless this time. She failed to extinguish Ethan's change of expression, as her mind was occupied by the thoughts concerning the Underworld. Lillie was feeling stressed last night so she pulled out the box of letters from under her bed and began to read them.

If Lillie really wanted to know who the sender was, she could've done it a long time ago but, there was this fear that made her stop. Her mind told her that the sender might already be happy with his life and found someone new. His letters may or may not be just a small crush that was brought by his teenage mind. In those years, people are tend to be unserious in terms of relationships.

They thought it was love and then realized at the end that it was mere puppy love.

She assumed that he would no longer want to see the woman he had a had crush on for so long but never received her affections in return. She may have considered it though, if he made himself known.

Lillie is an open-minded woman, she was open for relationships but, no one had the guts to court her or even stand beside her. They all felt inferior, unworthy in her eyes because of her immense achievements in life.

That is why Ethan, whom felt unworthy to even touch her fingers, did everything to be her equal. But, where did that led him?
