"Good morning, CEO Li." Ethan's secretary, Yu Ming Lian greeted and bowed. Ming Lian wanted to run away right now! Why is the CEO smiling?! Is he going to torture someone?!

Ethan nodded and hummed in acknowledgment. He's feeling really generous today so he ordered Ming Lian to fetch him the files for HL Corp's new project. ​​

"Give this property to White Phoenix Empire. We'll collaborate with them." Ethan nonchalantly said and waved the files in her face.

"B-but sir..." Poor Ming Lian, she wanted to cry so hard. To have this property belong to HL Corp, Ming Lian didn't sleep properly for five days and five nights!

Lillie entered her office with Elliot tagging along behind her.

"Miss Bai, the Ping family had someone delivered this for you." Elliot said and gave her an invitation with elegant designs.

"They hoped for you to come as their honored guest for Elder Ping's 70th birthday next week. They wanted to thank you for helping them have justice for their family's eldest mistress and uncovering all of Zhang Guan's misdeeds." Elliot briefly explained. Lillie read the invitation before placing it back on the table.

"It'll be rude to decline so call Château Éblouissant [2] and have someone prepare a new dress for me by next week."

"Yes."

"After that, give me the files Miss Fujikawa sent and prepare this week's flight to Japan." Lillie suddenly said. Elliot was surprised, his Boss was not the one who usually fly to another country just to meet her business partners, it was the contrary. So, what made her go there personally?

Lillie noted Elliot's curious expression. "Miss Fujikawa is an old friend of mine. She had aviophobia, she's afraid of airplanes. That's why I took the initiative to go there instead." Elliot went 'ahhh' and nodded.

It was news to Elliot to know that this Miss Fujikawa is actually his Boss' friend. He never met her, but he would sometimes talk to her through the phone.

He also knew that Lillie and her mysterious friend would video call each other. Elliot, as a gentleman and a professional, knows not to disturb their privacy.

If his Lady Boss won't mention it, he won't ask. As for Lillie, she never meant to keep it a secret, he never ask.

"I was speaking to Mr Li's assistant, Yu Ming Lian. She said their company wanted to have a collaboration with us. So, Mr Li gave you that property that the two of you have been fighting for months." Lillie was stunned.

If Lillie knew that the property she've always wanted was effortlessly given to her by Ethan just because she cooked him breakfast, she would've not only cooked him breakfast, she'll even cook lunch and dinner for him!
