'Future....wife?' Lillie Bai couldn't believe her ears. Did this hateful man just call her his future wife?

Lillie Bai was already upset about this 'arranged marriage' to what more is that she'll marry the man whom she despise.

Containing her unpleasant feelings, she calmly put her phone back to her face and tapped the 'send' button. It was a contract that she send to her lawyer. A contract which stated her rules and conditions for this 'unfortunate' marriage.

She will have it finalized and have her 'fiancee' sign it, whether he likes it or not.

"Good evening, Mr Li." Lillie refuse to acknowledge this man by his name.

"Oh please, call me Ethan. Mr Li sounds like you're talking to my father." Ethan insisted.

Lillie simply ignored him and averted her attention to Ethan's father.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Senior Li and Madam Li. I am Lilliana Theodora Bai, simply call me Lillie." Lillie said in a business like tone, it's as if she's talking to a client or a business partner.

Senior Li simply laughed and shook hands with her. "If it isn't the guest of honor. My, how you've grown into a very fine lady. I'm Li Ye Feng and this is my lovely wife,"

"Han Ru Shi. And please, call me mother. We'll all be family soon, after all." Mrs Li gently smiled. Lillie nodded, but mentally she disagree.

"Alex, my friend!" Mr Li heartily exclaimed and gave his friend, Mr Bai, a big hug.

"Oof! Ye Feng, my good friend! It's been ages!" Mr Bai accepted the hug and gave him a good pat on the back.

"Indeed, the last time I saw you was back in our college years but then suddenly transferred into another school and country. And as I can see, you've met your lovely wife there." He conversed.

"Oh yes, although parting with you was sad, meeting her was the most happiest day of my life." Mr Bai gently said with a smile before wrapping his arm around his wife.

Mrs Bai smiled. "Good evening, I'm Agathe Crevier Bai, it's a pleasure to finally meet you." She gracefully greeted, her French accent was beautifully emphasized.

"The pleasure is all mine, Madam. And please, no need for formalities, you can call me Ye Feng." He took her hand and kissed it with a debonair smile.

"Ahem!" Mrs Li glared at her husband's shamelessness.

"Oh! Don't think too much, my dear. I was just doing it for their custom." He nervously explained. Mrs Li rolled her eyes and warmly smiled at the French woman.

"Lastly, this is my youngest and only son." Mr Bai said, pointing at the teenage boy, his black hair almost covered his blue eyes as he played with his tablet the whole time.

Mr Bai's face turned cold and lightly narrowed his eyes. "Ahem!" He coughed to get his attention.

With irritation dripping from his eyes, he clicked him tongue. "Gabriel." He shortly replied before turning his gaze back at his tablet.

Mr and Mrs Bai sighed. "Please excuse my son's rude behavior." Mr Bai apologized.

Mr Li seem to mind and waved his hands. "No, no, it's fine. You know how youngsters are today. And also, we've been there haven't we?" He winked.

"Oh! By the way, this is my only daughter. Sweetie would you like to introduce yourself?" Senior Li looked behind him and saw his precious daughter. A bubbly girl, excitedly went in front.

"Hello! I'm Yi Fei, age 16 and one of Goddess Lillie's biggest fan!" She said in enthusiasm, her phoenix eyes were bright as she stare at her idol.

'Oh Buddha! I can't believe she's in front of me! Oh wait, I can't believe she'll be my big sister-in-law!' Yi Fei gasped in realization.

"Sister-in-law! What did I do in my past life to be blessed?!"

Lillie blankly stare at the hyped teenager. She was not used to this...behavior, as her younger brother always behaves himself. Around her at least.

And what did she just call her? Sister-in-law? But, she's not married yet.

"The new game WPE released was the best! Well, all of your games are great! I fell in love with it as soon as I've played it!" Yi Fei's eyes turned into hearts.

'Ah so she's a gamer. I can't believe her brother is that man' Lillie thought.

"Good to know, I hope there aren't any problems. If you wish to ask something regarding the game, you can directly inform me." Lillie nonchalantly said.

Yi Fei felt like she just hit a diamond mine. Her eyes shone, radiating the whole room if it's possible.

"Sister-in-law, you're the best!" Yi Fei almost hugged Lillie's thigh, not yet.

"Alright that's enough, dear. Let's leave them for awhile so they can get to know each other better." Senior Li had a hard time pulling his daughter off of Lillie. He've always known how much she adores her.

Lillie and Ethan's family all came out of the room and probably went to another one. It seems they've planned all of this.

Waiters and waitresses entered the room and placed their meal. Soft music was played, candelabras were lit and an expensive wine was opened.

The alcohol's fragrance entered Lillie's nostrils as she sighed in content. Lillie enjoys a good wine from time to time.

She took a leisure sip before her cold gaze stopped at the man across her, who was leaning on his chair with an arrogant air surrounding him.

"Mr Li, I expect that you've been filled of the matter you're about to face?" Lillie Bai spoke in monotone, her expression is blank as a paper.

"As the matter of fact, Mrs Li, yes, I've been informed of this 'wonderful' news." Ethan Li said, calmly sipping his wine. Lillie Bai bluntly blinked, as if she's not affected by his words.

"Your manners, Mr Li. We are not married yet, so call me with formality." She insisted.

Ethan raised his eyebrow. "Oh? Calling you Mrs Li is not formal enough for you?"

"On the contrary, it sounds foul in my ears." She bluntly rebuked.

"Well, I hope you get used to it, Mrs Li, for everyone will be calling you that for the rest of your life."
