Seeing Lu Yeming come over, Ah Xiao quickly put on a shy smile and ran over. She pounced into his arms.

“West Duke…”

But before she could reach him, Fan Men stopped her in her tracks. “Miss Ah Xiao, please stop.”

Ah Xiao stomped her feet angrily. But looking at Lu Yeming’s handsome face and the black clothes he was in which made his look even colder and more handsome, a smitten smile appeared on her face once again.

She had fallen for this man at first sight.

Ah Xiao stood obediently to the side.

Lu Yeming didn’t look at Ah Xiao at all. He strode forward to where Jun Xiqing was standing.

Lowering his head to look at her beautiful face, he slowly raised his hands to catch her tears. “I already gave you one last chance last night. Why didn’t you listen to me, hm?”

He was standing and she was kneeling, so she had to raise her head to look at his imposing, 1.9 meter tall figure.

She looked away harshly. She didn’t need his touch, nor anything from him.

But he caught hold of her small chin in his long fingers and forced her to look at him. “Where is Jun Chulin?”

Jun Xiqing’s red lips curved upwards slowly. Her tear-filled eyes shone brightly and beautifully. “My brother has already left Country A. You’ll never find out where he is!”

Surprisingly, Lu Yeming wasn’t angry at all. Instead, he raised one handsome eyebrow. Jun Xiqing was always full of surprises. She was already unable to leave the moment she stepped into Country A.

He had already recognized her the moment he had seen her at the banquet.

Bang! There was a sound of a shot being fired.

The loud bang filled the silence of the night, piercing and cold. The officer fell as his blood-streaked through the cracks on the wooden boards at the pier.

Jun Xiqing’s pupils contracted. He had gotten rid of a life so easily within a few seconds. She barely had time to register anything before the officer had collapsed.

“Ah!”

She screamed miserably. Tears rolled down her face like pearls from a broken necklace.

The eleven other officers were about to surge forward when the army from the West Palace surrounded them. A few black muzzles focused on them.

One order from Lu Yeming and they would be shot full of holes.

“Stop!” Jun Xiqing shouted.

“Master.” The eleven officers turned to look at Jun Xiqing.

Jun Xiqing slowly reached out and grabbed Lu Yeming’s pants. “Don’t touch them. Don’ t let this place be flooded with their blood. Didn’t you want the Wuling Iron Steed Troop? I’ll give them to you!”

Lu Yeming slowly put the gun back into the holster on his waist. There was a drop of blood on his hand, and Fan Men walked forward to hand him a handkerchief.

He looked down and wiped the drop of blood away calmly and elegantly. His fingers were long and beautiful. It didn’t look like a hand stained with blood at all.

It was just like the rest of him, so beautiful that no one would be able to resist him. No one would be able to tell that he was actually Satan from hell.

Jun Xiqing’s hands turned cold. She was admitting defeat.

She was no match for him.

He had treated her so differently.

Hearing the name “Wan Wan”, Jun Xiqing’s lips curved upwards and she handed the commander’s seal to Lu Yeming. “Listen to my order, 12 officers. From today onwards, I’m no longer your master. Your Master is now the West Duke!”

“Master!”

The 11 officers all had tears in their eyes.

Lu Yeming took the commander’s seal from her and slowly crouched down. Opening his palm, he looked at her expectantly.

“Give it back.”

“What?”

“My rosary pea.”

Lu Yeming’s eye immediately turned cloudy. He reached out to grab her face and pulled it towards him.

“Keep wasting my time and I’ll take care of these officers who have followed you for so long, one by one.”

Jun Xiqing’s small face was squashed in his large hands, but she couldn’t feel the pain at all. She smiled slowly and brightly. “West Duke, you’d better hide that woman well. One day, I’ll drag her out into the open and make sure you experience the same pain I’ve experienced today!”
