Fu Qinglun’s body froze and his gaze was fixated intensely on her half dazed face. What… did she say?

What did she say just now?

Was he hallucinating?

No.

Absolutely not.

Although her voice was soft, he heard it.

He heard it clearly.

She said she loved him.

Right now, she was sitting on the office table. He leaned over and his body squeezed in between her legs. Cupping her face with his large hands, he gently nuzzled his nose against her delicate face. “Shi’shi, what… what did you say just now? Could you say it again? I want to hear it.”

His voice was already hoarse and laced with passion and unease.

He felt like he was dreaming.

In his dream, Shi’shi was saying ‘I love you’ to him.

They had known each other for 18 years but she had never told him she loved him. The moment that he had been waiting for so long had come.

The moment that he had been waiting for so long had finally come.

Lin Shiyu’s luscious lashes quivered and her pretty almond-shaped eyes sparkled with tears. She hugged his neck and said softly. “Fu Qinglun, you’re right. Since I hate you, how can I let you off? It has been so many years of love, hatred, sadness, pain because of you. I don’t want to run away any longer. I want to be brave now. This is my last chance to you. I want to open my heart and give myself to you. You… have to treat me well from now onwards, if not…”

She did not have any request. She was already exhausted from everything. She only wished that he could treat her well.

When she gave him her heart, it would be forever.

All these years, no matter how much he had hurt her, she did not leave him. Actually, she was too naive and innocent. Girls who could be coaxed by his love letters were romantics at heart.

She did not request for him to give her the best. She only wanted him to treat her better every day.

She had not thought about ‘if not’. Fu Qinglun forcefully captured her red lips.

His love had set root and germinated in his heart from the beginning until now.

Back then, he had gotten onto the train. He had been waiting for her all this while on the train. This train was bound for… a place called forever.

Lin Shiyu could feel it. She felt his body warmth, his hot breath, and his sweaty palm which was cupping her face. A gentle curve appeared on her red lips. Ripples formed in her heart and she melted in his embrace.

Her hands raked his short hair and she kissed him back of her own volition.

Soon after, Fu Qinglun pushed her onto the office table. Something fell onto the carpet, and it seemed to be his cell phone.

He did not pick it up. He was impatiently tugging at the sash around her waist.

But he was too hasty and he could not undo it.

“Shi’shi, how do you undo this?” He asked in a hoarse voice, which was tinged with embarrassment.

Lin Shiyu smiled and her pretty voice was delicate and soft. “Silly, don’t undo it if you can’t.”

“Shi’shi!” The man promptly hugged her and did not let her go. “You promised me, you can’t go back on your words now. I will never let you go.”

Looking at his anxious countenance, Lin Shiyu erupted into soft giggles. “Fu Qinglun, you are such a fool. Who says I’m leaving? I said if you can’t undo it then don’t undo it. Don’t you understand?”

Fu Qinglun froze and his handsome features instantly became tender. He had not seen this side of Shi’shi for a very long time.

He adored the way she was now.

He pinned her down again.

Lin Shiyu’s eyes were reddened and soon later, big droplets of tears cascaded down. She covered her eyes.

But the man kissed her hand and then her eyes, again and again…

The next morning.

Lin Shiyu was being woken up. Her luscious lashes quivered and she gradually opened her eyes. Fu Qinglun’s face appeared in her vision.

The man had already woken up and was propping himself on the bed with one arm. He was caressing her face with the other hand. His fringe covered his dark eyes. He was a young and handsome man, and he could make one blush with his good looks.

“Shi’shi, you’ve woken up?” He smiled and his voice was tender.

Lin Shiyu looked around the surroundings. She had returned to the master bedroom. Last night, they had lingered in the study room for a long time and he had carried her back.

Now she was sore all over and she felt like she was going to fall apart.

“We should go to the hospital.” Lin Shiyu rose from the bed.

“Shi’shi.” Fu Qinglun promptly hugged her and looked at her in uncertainty. “You’ve not forgotten the incident last night, right?”

He could not sleep the whole night.

Last night, he had been caught unprepared. Everything felt unreal, like it was too good to be true. He was looking forward to daybreak, but at the same time he was afraid of it because he was fearful that it was just a dream.

He wanted her affirmation and validation.

“Last night…” Lin Shiyu’s pretty eyes had a tinge of sleepiness, and her gaze was evasive. “Last night… I had some wine…”

Fu Qinglun’s breathing paused. Was she going to deny about last night?

He knew it.

He knew that everything was unreal.

Last night she was drunk and had committed such intimate acts with him. It was as if a tub of cold water had drenched him from head to toe. His body froze and he got up to walk away.

At this moment, a fair hand tugged on his sleeve and he heard the woman’s pretty voice. “Hey, Fu Qinglun!”

Fu Qinglun stopped in his tracks and looked back at her. His eyes were hesitant, cautious.

Lin Shiyu’s hair was scattered indolently on the white pillow. She batted her luscious lashes and looked at him playfully yet full of tenderness. “I had wine last night, but I… wasn’t drunk.”

What did she just say?

Fu Qinglun’s cold heart instantly became hot again. “You bad little thing, how dare you fool me?”

He got onto the bed and pinned the woman beneath him. “See how I’m going to punish you now.”

He stretched his hands out to tickle her.

“Fu Qinglun, i-it tickles, s-stop!”

Lin Shiyu struggled vehemently and giggled beneath him. Her laughter was as crisp as tinkling bells and it was filled with merriment.

Both of them fooled about on the bed. Fu Qinglun felt that Lin Shiyu was the only person in the world who could let him experience hell in one instant and heaven in the next.

Her laughter totally melted his heart.

Pulling the blanket over the two of them, he proceeded to kiss her red lips. But Lin Shiyu covered his. “You’re not allowed to kiss me.”

“Oh.” Fu Qinglun responded obediently.

Lin Shiyu withdrew her hand.

In the next second, he pinned her down again and gave her a quick peck on her red lips.

“You!” Lin Shiyu pummeled him with her fists in mock anger. Fu Qinglun did not evade her punches. Instead, he nuzzled her delicate face like a little puppy.
