An’an opened her eyes, she was still in that warm embrace.

She had no idea whether she had turned around, or was it because he had turned her around, her entire body was facing him and right against his chest. An’an lifted her head, looking at his handsome face at such close proximity.

Lu Yan got up, kneeling beside her. “Let me see, the ointment I applied on you yesterday didn’t work?”

He had applied the ointment to reduce the swelling for her yesterday night, after helping her take a shower.

An’an curled her legs up, her face flushed red. “Stop looking, I’m already fine.”

“An’an,” he called her name, “Be good, let me check if you’re injured.”

An’an’s body quivered after he called her name. She was so used to his overbearing ways and didn’t know how to reject him.

They only confirmed their feelings for each other not long ago, she felt somewhat shy and afraid of his affectionate ways.

She suddenly felt something warm coming out from below. An’an looked at the man and said, “Lu Yan, I’m sorry, I have my period now.”

Knock knock, the big-busted maid’s voice was heard. “Master Yan, I’ve prepared some fruits.”

Lu Yan’s gaze was fixed on the document, he answered impassively. “Come in.”

The big-busted maid entered the room, she had a fruit platter in her hands.

The sun rays beamed down on the rattan chair through the windows. Lu Yan wore a clean black shirt with trousers, it was perfectly ironed with zero creases. His legs were too long, the trousers seemed like cropped pants when he put then on and his ankles were showing. Struggling to retract her wrist, An’an said simply, “I want to go back.”

“An’an,” Lu Yan exerted more force, pulling her into his arms, “You’re angry. Is it because I’ve been thinking about sex while I’m beside you for an entire day?”

“No, let go…” An’an tried to push him away, refusing to let him hug her.
