Tang Mo’er heard An’an’s scream and before she could react, An’an had pounced over, the two of them landing on the ground in a mess of limbs.

An’an made a ‘hmph’ sound, her tiny face was covered in sweat.

“An’an, what’s the matter with you? Are you hurt?” Tang Mo’er immediately got up and checked on An’an.

An’an applied some pressure on her left chest, two drops of acid were splattered onto her wound, the skin around had suffered from an acid burn.

The stinging pain was so unbearable that her face went entirely white. But she shook her head, whispering, “Little sister-in-law, I’m fine. Are you hurt?”

Tang Mo’er didn’t sustain any injuries. An’an had pounced over and acted as her human shield. It was only right that she was safe and sound.
