Fu Qinglun walked beside Lin Shiyu and bent down, carrying her up.

Mama Lin lived in an apartment with quiet surroundings. She pushed open the room door and Fu Qinglun placed Lin Shiyu on the bed.

Mama Lin whispered, “Qinglun, will you be sharing a room with Shi’shi?”

Mama Lin was asking him tactfully, Shiyu was still in her confinement period and wouldn’t be able to able to engage in sexual acts. Many men who had trouble controlling themselves would choose to sleep in the guest room instead.

After a phone call, Tang Mo’er found out that Lin Shiyu was discharged from the hospital as her condition had stabilized.

An’an had also regained consciousness within 48 hours and her life was out of danger and so Tang Mo’er went to visit An’an.

In the hospital ward, An’an lay on the hospital bed and had just woken up. Her beautiful eyes were blank and though her tiny face was already usually pale, it had gotten worse. Her tiny veins could be seen under her smooth, delicate skin.

“An’an, you’ve woken up? That’s great, you’ve frightened Mom.” Huo Yanmei hurriedly rushed beside An’an’s side.

An’an slowly turned her head around, she caught side of Huo Yanmei and on the other side was Tang Mo’er. Her eyes were downcast when she didn’t spot the one person she was looking for.

From the moment she woke up, she was searching for that familiar figure.

Where was he?

“An’an, who are you looking for, is it Master Yan? Master Yan had sent you to the hospital and left after the surgery was successful. You’ve been unconscious for the past two days and Master Yan didn’t even bother to come and visit you,” Huo Yanmei said.

An’an pursed her beautiful lips, her tiny face was ice-cold and expressionless.

“An’an, I’ll have to let you know this. Master Yan told me that it’s too dangerous for you to follow him around, so he’s handed you over back under my care. You shouldn’t return to Master Yan’s side anymore, you’ll live with me from now onwards. I’ve made arrangements with the best university in town. An’an’s tiny hands had tugged hard on the bedsheets and her movement had agitated her wound. She hissed in pain.

An’an turned her head over, looking at Tang Mo’er. With her gentle voice slightly weak, it really made one feel heartbroken. “Little sister-in-law, did he really… not pay me a visit?”

Lu Yan really didn’t visit her?

She was unconscious for two days and almost died, he didn’t even bother to pay her a visit?

Huo Yanmei had came back. “An’an, the doctor is here, let the doctor conduct a full body checkup for you.”

Huo Yanmei’s voice came to an abrupt end, the hospital bed was empty and An’an had disappeared.

“Where’s An’an? Why did An’an disappear!” Huo Yanmei screamed out loud before running back out of the ward.

An’an must have gone to look for Lu Yan.

She had stabbed herself in the chest just to save Lu Yan, now that she had regained her consciousness, her first thought was to look for Lu Yan. What exactly did that man do to An’an? How had he bewitched her to the point she would repeatedly sacrifice her own life just to save him?

Crash! The cup in Tang Mo’er’s hand landed on the carpeted floor.
