By the time he returned to the villa, Tang Mo’er had fallen asleep. As she lay on her side, the faint yellow rays from the sun fell on her tiny face. Deep in her midst of slumber, her cheeks were a faint pink and her expression was soft and gentle.

She had about ten stitches on her wrist injury and he would have seen it. Tang Mo’er knew that he was asking about her injury down there.

Recalling his actions, Tang Mo’er opened her mouth and bit his hand that was placed right on her chest.

Gu Mohan was in pain but he smirked at her expression, finding it incredibly endearing. “You’re still angry, hm?”

Gu Mohan buried his head in her silky hair, his deep voice incredibly gentle yet tired. “Baby, I’m a little exhausted, let me have some rest, hm?”

He held her gentle body in his arms and buried himself in the pleasant scent of her hair. Like that, he closed his eyes and soon enough, he fell asleep.

Tang Mo’er heard the sound of his deep breathing. How dare he just fall asleep like that! She hadn’t even released her anger yet!

One of his hands was still on her pants, although he didn’t seem to have any sexual intention. All she felt was pure warmth and protection over her, but she still felt humiliated.

Tang Mo’er bit down on her lower lip, wanting to push him away.
