Chapter 103: Tang Hai, Our Daughter Has Arrived in Karghalik
Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios
Gu Mohan stubbed the cigarette once it was burnt out. His thin lips formed a helpless slant as he pushed open the frosted glass door. He needed to have a cold shower but first, he had to make a phone call to Huo Beichen.
“Hello, Second Brother, doesn’t time just fly past when you’re enjoying yourself? What made you decide to give me a call?”
“I need to ask you something. What does it mean when a woman suddenly changes her mind right before you’re about to have sex?”
Huo Beichen’s gossip radar was switched on immediately and Gu Mohan could sense the eagerness in his voice. “Second Brother, are you talking about Beauty Tang? It must be because you’re too large and hurt her last time. She is definitely traumatized.”
Gu Mohan pursed his thin lips, he knew that he had made a wrong decision by choosing to call Huo Beichen. He decisively hung up the phone and gave Yan Dong a phone call instead.
“Hello, President.” Yan Dong spoke in a respectful tone.
“Help me investigate Tang Mo’er’s past. Remember to be thorough.”
“Yes, President. I have something else to report, the two men in black have escaped as you previously instructed. They should be in contact with Su Shuiqin now.”
Gu Mohan replied, “Keep a close watch on them.”
“Understood.”
Ten minutes after, Gu Mohan came out from the bathroom after having a cold shower. Tang Mo’er was fast asleep, her petite face was buried in the soft pillow. Her face had a pinkish glow, she was simply too irresistible for one not to kiss her.
How many faces did this little wild cat possess? How many more secrets was she hiding?

When would she open up to him?
Gu Mohan held her in his arms and switched off the lights.
…
Su Zhe and Han Xiaowan walked out of the lobby. Su Zhe was depressed and emotional, he looked close to tearing up. He pursed his lips and got into his Jaguar.
Han Xiaowan attempted to open the passenger’s door and board the car, but Su Zhe stepped on the accelerator without another glance at her. The Jaguar’s engine roared and he was gone, all that was left behind for Han Xiaowan was the acrid smell of gas and the despondency of being abandoned.
“Ah, Su Zhe!” Han Xiaowan screamed as she fell on to the ground, on the verge of a breakdown.
Han Xiaowan was furious. She wanted to rage and scream to vent her rage but she was left with nothing. Su Zhe was no longer attracted to her and after everything she had done, it was all in vain. She was still the loser and Tang Mo’er had emerged victorious. Why? Why was it always Tang Mo’er?
She turned back in search of her mother, Qin Yawen. As Han Xiaowan was pregnant, Qin Yawen made the effort to send her to the hotel personally. However, she couldn’t find Qin Yawen, no matter where she looked.
She took out her cell phone and made a call to Qin Yawen. “Hello, Mommy, where are you? Why can’t I find you?”
Qin Yawen was preoccupied with something else. She drove around in her red Mercedes in search of Fu Qinglun’s Mulsanne instead. Lu Qi’er sat in the Mulsanne and Qin Yawen was following them like a crazed woman, her only goal was to be as close as possible to the car.
Han Xiaowan’s call instantly pulled her back to reality and she stepped on the brakes hurriedly. A gust of cold wind from outside rushed inside the car, the momentum from the suddenness pushing her forward as she let out a staggered breath. She was finally sober. What exactly was she trying to do? Was she trying to ruin Qi’er’s life?

She looked at the Mulsanne disappear from her sight and pulled herself together. Her voice was gentle, “Xiaowan, Mommy just went to buy some things, I’ll come and get you now.”
She hung up on the phone after speaking.
She held her phone tightly and hesitated for a moment. She then dialed another number.
Her eyes were visibly nervous, yet filled with a hopeful expectation as the ringtone dialled. After a few seconds, the phone call was picked up. She held the phone tightly and spoke, “Hello, Tang Hai, our daughter has arrived in Karghalik…”
“Hello, are you looking for my husband? I’ll get him to speak with you.” A gentle voice was on the other end of the phone.
Qin Yawen was stunned and hung up abruptly.
It wasn’t Tang Hai who picked up the phone call, it was his new wife, Su Yan.
