Eric entered their room, panting as he had rushed up as soon as his sister had told him where to find Katerina.

To his surprise, Katerina was happily packing their things in their respective luggages.

"Kat." Eric groaned as he closed the door behind him.

He wasn't worried about a random stranger seeing them enter the same room, or about fans attempting to sneak into his room. He and his siblings had booked the entire floor and Cedric had posted guards at the elevator.

The hotel had also given them a dedicated elevator and the other elevators were not allowed on the top two floors where the most lavish suites were located.

"Why do you sound so sad?" Katerina asked as she walked over to Eric and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Kat, you need to stop hiding your feelings and just let them out." Eric complained, his frustration evident in his tone.

"Eric, I'm fine." Katerina said with a sigh as Eric wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him.

Katerina nuzzled her head on his neck and planted a gentle kiss on his cheek before leaning back again.

Eric refused to let her go, so she remained in his arms while hers were still wrapped around his neck too.

"Darling, please." Eric begged. "I know that you can't be comfortable with those women around, I'm just trying to make this work for us."

"I'm not." Katerina admitted as she managed to free herself from Eric's arms.

She turned and walked away, catching Eric by surprise. Her reactions to everything were unlike how most people would react. A normal girlfriend would be furious if another woman touched her man, and yet here was Katerina, seemingly uncaring but admitting that it bothered her.

"Kat, why are you doing this to yourself?" Eric asked as he hugged his girlfriend from behind. "Just tell me to stop. Tell me it bothers you. Tell me you don't like it." Eric said, practically begging Katerina for an answer.

Eric couldn't understand why Katerina was trying to be strong and brave, she knew that he would never look down at her for feeling what came naturally while one was in a relationship.

And as much as Eric did not want to admit it, he felt frustrated that Katerina was not bothered by the women or that she didn't even feel jealous whenever he had a kissing scene.

She would simply sit cuddled into his arms as they watched him act opposite a very attractive woman.

"Eric, it's not like that." Katerina said with a frown. "Can you please let me go?" She asked.

"Kat." Eric said as he refused to let her out of his arms.

"Eric, I will explain, just let me go." Katerina asked in a frustrated tone. "Eric Chan if you do not let me go I will be extremely angry and you will need to take a commercial flight home!" Karerina shouted, forcing Eric to release her from his embrace.

"Thank you." Katerina said with a sigh as she sat on the bed and patted the space next to her, motioning him to sit. "Let's talk." Katerina said as Eric sat next to her and looked her in the eyes.

"What do you want to talk about?" Eric asked as he cocked his head to the side, curious about what Katerina had to say to him.

"Eric, please don't think that I don't care." Katerina said with a frown as she looked down at her feet.

Eric was taken by surprise by what she had just said, he never questioned if she cared, just why it didn't seem to bother her and why she never reacted.

"Kat, what made you think that I thought you didn't care?" Eric asked as he cupped her cheek in his hand and caressed it gently.

As much as he wanted to be patient, this conversation somewhat irked him, how could Katerina not see how much he loved her. How much was willing to put everything aside for her? How could she not see how her maturity worried him?

"I was talking to Nicole and I was worried why you kept bringing up the whole jealousy thing." Katerina confessed with a sad look in her eyes.

Eric pulled her in his arms and hugged her tightly, they stayed in that position for a few minutes before Katerina moved away from him once more.

"Nicole said that maybe you wanted me to get jealous because you felt that I didn't care, that all the other women around you didn't matter to me, but they do Eric." Katerina said on the verge of tears as her eyes watered.

"Katerina, I never assumed that you didn't care." Eric said with a sigh as he planted a gentle kiss on her forehead. "What worried me was the fact that you keep pretending that the girls don't bother you."

"Well. . ." Katerina said as she lowered her voice, it seemed that she was quite shy about what she had to say.

"What is it?" Eric asked as he tucked a loose strand of hair. "I promise not to judge. Of course, if we were being honest, I would find it kind of cute if you were jealous." Eric said as he flashed her one of his famous smiles.

"Eric, I don't do cute and you know that." Katerina told her boyfriend as she rolled her eyes at him.

"Yes, but I think you are cute, gorgeous, and brilliant all at the same time." Eric said as he patted her on the head like a puppy.

Katerina swatted his hand away, making Eric laugh at her reaction.

"Fine, I do get jealous, but what use is that?" Katerina asked with a frown. "Me being jealous about all the women that try to touch you is just me being immature."

"Katerina, you have every right to be mad at them. I'm your boyfriend." Eric said with a laugh.

"Yes, but it's part of your job!" Katerina said, practically shouting. "I mean I accept that it's part of your job and you never asked those women to come at you. You've always been loyal, extremely loyal."

"Kat, it's okay to be jealous." Eric said as he looked at his girlfriend in the eyes and planted a gentle kiss on her lips.

"Eric, I don't want your career to suffer because of me." Katerina said as she looked down.

"Katerina, my career is worth nothing next to you and me. Our relationship is the most important thing to me." Eric said as he pleaded with her. "And to be honest I'm getting tired. I want to retire."

"Eric, you are just saying that because of me." Katerina groaned.

"Of course I'm saying it because of you." Eric said with a laugh. "I want to retire to give you all my time and all my love. I'm also tired of hiding who I am. I'm Eric Chan, I'm the eldest of the Chan siblings and I love my family, I hate having to hide that fact."

"Eric, no matter what you choose I will support you." Katerina promised. "But make sure that your choice is what you want and not what you feel you have to do because of your duty."

Eric nodded and smiled at Katerina.

"You are the most amazing person in the world." He said as he kissed her passionately.
