On the drive home, Cedric had called all of their friends and family, inviting them over for dinner at their Mountain View mansion.
To his friends, he said that he had an update on Camilla and Benedict trying to get to Lucius Ting. And to the parents, he simply said that Yoyo wanted to invite his grandparents and see them, it would also be a celebration of his first day in school.
"Well, the only person I have to call is Ram." Cedric told Adrianna. "Do you want to give Julia a call first?" Cedric asked his wife.
"Just call Ram, I don't mind." Adrianna told Cedric with a laugh. She found it quite amusing that Cedric was very worried about their friends being uncomfortable in each other's presence.
Cedric tapped on his phone as he gave Ram a call. After a few rings, the TV executive finally picked up his phone.
"Hey Ced, is this about you and Adri being in the news because of the hospital visit?" Ram asked, not waiting for Cedric to even say hi. "If you need it taken down I can handle it, but you did extremely well with the press. I think you should keep it out there."

"Oh, thanks." Cedric said awkwardly. "But that's not why I'm calling."
"It's not?" Ram asked with a curious tone.
"No." Cedric responded with a laugh. His friend had been so quick to jump into assumptions that he completely missed the mark.
"So what is this all about?" Ram asked over the phone.
"Adri and I are hosting a dinner later." Cedric started off. "And we wanted to check if you could come."
"Can I bring Francesca?" Ram asked over the phone.
"Actually, I called because it's kind of related to Francesca, well more related to your love life." Cedric said with a sigh.
"Did I do something?" Ram asked with a suspicious tone.
"Well, no, not really, but there is something I wanted to ask you." Cedric said over the phone.
"Alright, sure, shoot." Ram told Cedric.
"Adrianna is inviting Julia over, I know the two of you have a history, I just wanted to know if it's alright or if you could be civil over dinner." Cedric said slowly.
"Cedric, do you think I'm such an immature child?" Ram asked with a chuckle. "We didn't work out, that's it. If Julia feels uncomfortable with me around, I can avoid her."
"Alright. Thanks Ram. I'll see you tonight." Cedric said happily.
"That's it?" Ram asked as he continued to laugh over the phone.
"Oh, wait, no, not just that." Cedric said as he remembered his excuse for hosting a dinner at their place.
"Hmmm?" Ram asked over the phone.
"The diner is just an excuse." Cedric told Ram. "I got news from Camilla and Benedict, they've been able to sway Lucius Ting's opinion of them. They want to give us an update."

"Great, alright. I'll see you then." Ram said enthusiastically as they dropped the call.
"Well, Ram said he doesn't mind." Cedric said with a shrug.
Adrianna nodded and gave Julia a call.
Cedric tried to listen into her conversation with Julia, but when Adrianna's face turned sour. It seemed that Julia had been more affected than Ram.
The girls were on the phone until the couple finally made it to R Tower, Cedric had arranged for them to have lunch there on a small date.
When Adrianna finally dropped the call, she sighed and shook her head.
Cedric didn't say a word, he simply pulled his wife to him and hugged her tightly, allowing her to feel sad in his arms.
After a few minutes, Cedric finally released his hold around Adrianna as she looked up and gave him a sad smile.
"What did Julia say?" Cedric asked, he was quite curious as to what could bother his wife so much.
"Julia is being selfish." Adrianna told him as she shook her head. "She said that she doesn't want to see anything related to Ram for at least a few years, as a matter of fact she even left the country without telling us."
"Isn't that a bit too drastic?" Cedric asked his wife.
"Let's just talk about it over lunch." Adrianna told her husband as she opened her door.
Cedric quickly stepped out of the car and ran to her side and helped her out. They walked over to the elevator as it ascended up to the floor of Nouveau.
The manager and the waiters were already waiting for them when the elevator doors opened.
Cedric nodded in acknowledgement of the manager who led them to their private dining room in the restaurant. He quickly gave their orders and the manager left to inform the chef.
"You were saying?" Cedric asked his wife as he encouraged her to tell him Julia's story.
"Julia said she couldn't stand being in the country where Ram or Francesca was on every billboard, magazine, and newspaper." Adrianna explained with a frown.
"Did you tell her our news?" Cedric asked his wife.
"No, I didn't." Adrianna said as she shook her head. "I figured that she would be back soon. She said something that bothered me."
"What was it?" Cedric asked.
"She said that Ram and Francesca were not really in love, that it was merely a marriage of convenience if the two would ever get married." Adrianna said with a frown. "Is it true?" Adrianna asked.
"No, well it was at the start." Cedric said with a sigh. "He loves her now, they love each other now."
"Julia will come back to win him back." Adrianna said, catching Cedric by surprise.
