"V, do you want to go over to my parents?" Miguel whispered as he pulled his wife closer to him as he kept his eyes on Jason Evangelista.

Miguel had thought he had gotten rid of Jason when the man vanished years ago. He had even met with Jason's family several times and they had never mentioned Jason.

"I heard you were adopting." Jason said in a loud voice, catching everyone's attention.

"Oh, I think it's sweet of you to adopt." Rose squealed as she jumped up and down like a teenager.

"Rose, baby, calm down." Jason said as she hugged her. "It's bad for the baby." As he said this he gently placed his hand on Rose's stomach where a barely visible bump was forming.

"Ah, you are expecting?" Cedric suddenly said from the other end of the table.

Miguel gave Cedric a confused look, Cedric knew that giving people like Jason and Rose any ounce of attention would only make their egos grow. He looked at his friend, wondering what he had in mind.

"Yes, Mr. Reyes." Jason said in a respectful tone as he nodded.

"How many months in?" Cedric asked as he leaned forward.

"Four months." Rose said proudly.

"Your baby bump seems too small for a four month old." Adrianna pointed out as she looked at the couple. She knew of the history between Jason and Veronica, so she was sure her husband was up to something.

"Ah, it was like this with my last pregnancy as well." Rose said as she blushed. "I start out really small then boom, I'm as large as a whale." Rose said with a laugh.

Miguel looked around as he noticed that everyone's attention had turned to them.

Clearly people were eager to hear what the discussion was about.

"Oh, if I didn't know better I'd say you were only two months along." Nicole said with a smile as she pointed at Rose's baby bump. "Then again, people's bodies develop differently."

"It's impossible for me to be only two months pregnant." Rose said with a sweet smile as she placed a hand on Jason's which was protectively covering her baby bump. "Jason has been away for three months, he has been hired by an international firm to design all of their offices across the globe."

Veronica frowned at the mention of Jason's latest project, she had lost that project because the company representatives said that her designs were too feminate to be used by their company.

She rarely lost projects like those, but not everyone liked her style and she understood that. She simply felt bad knowing that it had been Jason who had won the contract.

"Congratulations then." Cedric said with a smirk as he raised his glass of wine at the couple.

"Thank you." Rose said with a smile as she nodded at Cedric.

Veronica couldn't help but notice how Rose was eyeing Cedric, it was as if she had a crush on him.

"You know you are married, right?" Adrianna suddenly asked Rose.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Reyes, but what did you mean by that?" Rose asked as she looked shocked by Adrianna's statement.

"My sister-in-law is saying, stop staring at my brother like he is some piece of meat." Ayanna hissed as she played with her glass of wine.

"I wasn't -" Rose said before she was cut off when Cedric raised his hand, signaling for people to stop talking.

"It's fine Adri, honey." Cedric said as he gazed lovingly at his wife from the other side of the table. "They can look, but I'll always be yours." Cedric said with a wink.

Instead of blushing, Adrianna burst out laughing at her husband. Soon the other girls joined her and laughed at what Cedric had just said.

"Being charming like this in public doesn't suit you, Cedric." Adrianna said with a smile.

"Well, I just took that from a note I read." Cedric said with a shrug as he grinned.

Ram smiled and handed him an envelope, Cedric took out the paper inside and began to read the message.

"To My Most Precious Rose," Cedric began. As he read the first line he watched as Rose turned pale.

"What is that Rose?" Jason asked as he looked at his wife who now carried a worried look in her eyes.

"I miss you, it has been a while. When is that stupid husband of yours leaving for his next project? I miss feeling you in my arms." Cedric read, he quickly glanced up and noticed the shocked look on everyone's faces.

"What is that?" Jason asked. "Did you make that up because this bitch hates me?" Jason said as he pointed at Veronica.

"You will not call my wife a bitch." Miguel said angrily, coming to Veronica's defense.

"That woman in your arms was more than willing to be with me, you just forced her to marry you." Jason argued back.

"That's not true!" Veronica suddenly said, stepping up to defend herself. "I've always loved Miguel, I liked you, but I loved him."

"If you really loved him then why did it take an arranged marriage for both of you to be together?" Jason asked as he smiled maliciously.

"Ha! Because my brother and sister-in-law are both clueless." Nicole said with a laugh shocking everyone. "We all knew they loved each other, they've loved each other since they were children. Plus Alexi ruined things for them multiple times."

"That is true." Alexi said with a laugh. "My playboy ways affected Miguel when Veronica thought it was Miguel enjoying himself with a nurse in Paris."

"Alexi!" Selina said, scolding her boyfriend.

"I've realized the error of my way baby." Alexi said as he planted a kiss on Selina's lips, making her blush. "Anyway, stop deflecting Jason, this is about you and your wife."

"Should I read on?" Cedric asked with a grin as he waved the letter in his hand.

Cedric ignored Rose and Jason and simply read the next line.

"Oh, this is good." Cedric said with a grin. "I know you are a jealous one my lovely Rose, but know that even if my female fans have their eyes on me, my heart, my hands, and my everything is yours."

The bystanders gasped at the sentence Cedric had read, people suddenly looked towards Eric who was also on the same table as Cedric.

"What, that's not me." Eric said with a laugh. "I'm loyal to my lady love."

"Want to know something interesting, Jason?" Ram suddenly asked.

Jason was too stunned to say anything, he simply stared at Ram with an angry expression, clearly embarrassed by the letter.

"Did you know that you are sterile?" Ram said as he held a medical report in his hands. "You can't have kids Jason."

"Wait, that means -" Veronica said as she looked at Rose and Jason in shock.

"You bitch." Jason shouted as he slapped the woman in his arms across the cheek. "You fucking cheated on me!"

"Of course I did!" Rose suddenly shouted back. "I was only with you because I wanted to make her jealous." Rose said as she pointed at Veronica.
