"That's different." Eric said with a laugh as he offered Cedric a bottle of beer. "Alexi standing up for someone other than himself? That's unheard of!"

"He has changed." Cedric said with a nod as he stole a glance at Selina who was seated on the couch.

Cedric was happy that Alexi could change for someone, even back when he was with Jen, Alexi still prioritized himself. Maybe a part of him knew that Jen didn't love him.

"Will we use the serum yet?" Nicole asked Cedric.

"Let Alexi have his fun." Cedric told Nicole. "But if you need to prep, feel free." Cedric said with a shrug.

"Perfect. I'll have your people bring the machines in." Nicole said excitedly.

"I'll help." Natalia said as she followed Nicole out of the room.

"Why does Nicole seem too happy to use the Veritas Serum?" Cedric asked Eric and Ian.

"The machine is new." Ian said with a laugh. "No operation has required such a precise delivery of anesthesia so she hasn't used that machine yet."

"Ah, that explains things." Cedric said with a laugh.

"I think I've had my fun." Alexi said as he returned to the room.

"Really? That quick?" Cedric asked his friend.

"Yes." Alexi said with a nod. "The life she is facing will be torture in itself." Alei said with a malicious smile.

"Perfect!" Eric exclaimed. "My sister is excited to use her new toys."

"How well do you think it will work?" Cedric asked the other boys in general.

"Natalia said that this was the strongest serum she has ever made." Alexi explained. "She should be sining truths within seconds."

"Good, because I want to get my hands on Aiden as soon as possible." Cedric said with a nod.

"I'll go tell the girls." Ian said as he left the room.

After a few minutes they saw the thugs carrying a bloodied Jen back to her chair.

"Let go of me!" Jen shouted. "Aiden will come for me and he will crush you! He will destroy every single one of you!"

"It's time to get her talking." Cedric said as he walked out of the room followed by Alexi and Ian.

Eric remained in the other room since there was no need for his involvement.

"Jen." Cedric greeted with a grin.

"Well if it isn't the CEO of the Reyes Group, you disgust me!" Jen shouted as she spat at Ceric.

"Those are my lines." Cedric said with a smirk, whipping off her spit as it had landed on his cheek. "You and your boyfriend attempted to kidnap my son, you successfully killed Mia, and you injured my mom. So tell me Jen, why should I take it easy on you?"

Cedric's aura made Jen shrink a bit in her seat, but she remained stubborn as she glared at the men.

"He asked you a question!" Alexi said as he slapped Jen across the cheek.

"Simple, because you are friends with those bastards." Jen said with a grin. "Don't you think Aiden already knows about this place? Soon enough he will arrive and take me away, all of my injuries will be proof of what you have done to me."

"Jen have you learned nothing?" Alexi asked with a smile. "We tie all loose ends."

"As we speak you are being charged with the muder of Mia, and the attempted murder of Priscilla Clarin - Reyes." Ian explained with a smile. "You don't even need to be in court, you will be found guilty and sent to the worst prison imaginable."

"Aiden will get me out." Jen shouted.

"Aiden has no power where you are going." Alexi said with a grin. "Now we can make things better for you if you will tell us all about Aiden's plans."

"In your dreams!" Jen shouted.

"Very well." Cedric said with a shrug as he gave the signal for the machine to be wheeled in. "I'm sure you are familiar with all of the serums you took from Natalia's lab."

Jen's eyes grew wide at the mention of her theft, she knew exactly what Cedric meant. She was aware of several truth serums that she had taken, among them the Veritas Serum that was going to be used on her.

"Since you refuse to cooperate, we will have to make you speak." Cedric said with a smile.

"You know, I gave you a chance." Natalia told Jen as she walked up to the woman who was now restrained. "I thought you loved my brother, I went against all my instincts and gave you a chance when Katerina said not to. And you repay me by stealing my life's work, you deserve everything that is coming for you." Natalia said as she returned to help Nicole.

When Nicole had finished calibrating the machine she injected a few needles into Jen's arm.

"How long till she talks?" Cedric asked Natalia.

"By my estimates it will only take a minute, and that is if she has some willpower left." Natalia said with a shrug.

Cedric leaned back as he watched Nicole and Natalia take the needles out of Jen's arms after the serum was administered.

"I wonder what she had done to use a memory serum on Nicole?" Ian asked as he stood next to Cedric. "Her actions not only risked my wife's life but my then unborn son's as well."

"We will find out in a bit." Alexi said with a nod as they waited for the serum to take effect.

"It should work by now." Natalia said as she looked at her watch.

"Let's give it a try shall we." Cedric said as he walked back across Jen.

"What's your name?" Cedric asked.

"Jenifer Pelaez." Jen said.

"What's your boyfriend's name?" Cedric asked.

"Aiden Ortiz." Jen said reluctantly.

"What was your involvement in the plot against my son, my wife, my sister, and my mother?" As Cedric asked this his eyes narrowed.

"I ordered for Aiden's men to kidnap Emilio Reyes IV together with my boyfriend Aiden." Jen admitted. "Damnit!" She cursed as she realized what she had just said.

"Why did you drug Nicole after she gave birth?" Ian asked, cutting in.

"Nicole saw me with Aiden, she found out that I had never loved Alexi, that I was working with Aiden to take down your stupid families! She had to be dealt with. She got lucky that I administered the wrong serum." Jen confessed, shocking everyone who heard.
