An hour before Cedric arrived as Saints Hospital social media was abuzz with the latest gossip, the matriarch of the Reyes Family, Priscilla Reyes, her daughter, Ayanna Reyes - Laurence, together with her daughter's friend were attacked at Pris Mall.

The biggest media outlets began calling the Reyes Group head office, others sent their people to Saints Hospital. If anyone was injured they would have been sent there for sure, the Reyes and Chan families were incredibly close and they would get the best treatment there.

When two sports cars pulled up in front of the hospital and Nicole and Miguel Chan arrived in a rush, the media was sure, someone was injured. The question now was, who?

Their sources initially said that it was just a bodyguard, but to get the Chan siblings to look so worried and concerned it was clearly either the Reyes Family matriarch or her daughter. It took someone important to get the top doctors to come out. It was clear that the patient was in need of immediate care as the doctors rushed in instead of taking their time.

Many reporters waited outside patiently, as people began posting photos and videos of the incident. There was clearly a bodyguard injured, all of the videos included a female bodyguard heroically jumping at the attackers just as gunshots were heard.

They saw Ayanna pick up a child and run away with several other body guards. Her Friend remained with Priscilla Reyes who was visibly bleeding.

This was the confirmation they needed, it was Priscilla Reyes that had been rushed to the hospital.

Hopefully with the latest news the Reyes Group would finally release a statement.

The reporters waited faithfully outside of Saints Hospital, waiting to hear from their bosses if there was any movement from the company's end. The news had already spread and they were itching to report it, unfortunately there was an unspoken rule, unless the Reyes Group allowed it, people couldn't just publish news about them.

Many images of the CEO when he was young had been posted long ago, all the companies that posted those photos were driven into bankruptcy then bought by the Abads.

While the reporters eagerly waited for word, a new rumor spread. The CEO's famous white Rolls Royce Ghost was spotted a few streets away from the hospital. The bigger news, an explosion happened as he passed by.

The waiting reporters quickly tried to find out if the CEO was injured. It also confirmed one thing to them, the CEO was on his way. They quickly readied their cameras hoping to grab a shot of the illusive man.

They were shocked when the convoy arrived, it wasn't just the CEO. They spotted Ray Laurence's familiar BMW and even Emilio Reyes III's car in among them.

The cars stopped for a while outside of the entrance to the hospital. For a moment the reporters thought that the cars would just leave and find another way in. They were surprised to see bodyguards quickly line up and make a protected path.

The door to the Rolls Royce Ghost opened and a well dressed man stepped out. At frist they didn't find it odd, Cedric Reyes was a known employee of the Reyes Group and was clearly quite close to the Reyes Family members.

However, something was off about him, he was dressed differently. He wore a designer suit that they had seen on only one man in the past, the CEO of the Reyes Group.

Add to that the fact that he stepped out of the backseat and a bodyguard stood by him closely.

Cedric looked around and saw his sister and Rey getting out of their car. Ayanna walked up to him and gave him a hug. The reporters in the area were shocked, Ayanna Reyes would not hug just anyone.

Who really was Cedric Reyes? They began snapping photos and were all visibly confused. What exactly was going on, was Cedric Reyes really an illegitimate child of the Reyes family? But that didn't make sense. If that was the case why would he be visiting the hospital, wouldn't that just make the matriarch mad. An illegitimate child was a reminder of her husband's infidelity.

He bent down and picked up something from inside the car, a familiar small figure who had won the hearts of people all over the country, his son, Emilio. The little boy was sleepy, but he smiled as he saw his aunt.

The reporters quickly snapped photos and waited for another person to step out of the car, to their surprise no one else came. They began to wonder what this meant, their confusion was visible as Cedric scanned the crowd.

"Mr. Cedric, Mr. Cedric!" A reporter called out. "Are you him? Are you the CEO of the Reyes Group?" Everyone was shocked as the reporter called out. No one had the guts to ask that question, they were all too afraid.

Cedric looked at them and they all seemed to feel smaller, this man that they never regarded as important suddenly felt like someone they needed to fear, someone powerful.

"Sir is this true?" Another reporter called out.

Cedric was clearly not amused by their questions, but instead of retaliating he chose to ignore them.

Emilio Reyes III soon joined them and placed a hand on Cedric's shoulder. The reporters watched the fatherly affection Emilio Reyes showed towards Cedric. The little boy in Cedric's arms noticed that Emilio Reyes III had joined them, he looked up and reached towards the older man.

The crowd was shocked, during his years at the helm of the Reyes Group, Emilio Reyes was known to be cold and unforgiving, but at this moment it seemed his heart had just melted for the little boy as he smiled lovingly.

What even shocked them even more was when he took the boy from Cedric's arms and hugged him.

"I guess the cat's out of the bag." The reporters heard Emilio Reyes tell Cedric, who simply nodded and walked away.
