"I was at school." Katerina said. As she spoke Eric held her hand and caressed it. "Since I was older than the other girls and I had skipped a few grades my classes ended later than everyone else's. So Nicole, Ayanna, Veronica, and Natalia had already been fetched and sent home."

"We should have waited for you." Nicole said with a frown.

Katerina simply shook her head. "You couldn't have known."

"Nicole, let Katerina tell her story." Eric scolded his younger sister.

"Anyway, for some reason that day our driver was late. Everyone had already gone home and I was the only student left in school." Katerina explained. "I had thrown a tantrum earlier that day because I didn't want a bodyguard following me around. So dad gave in and let me go to school without a guard."

"I still regret that to this day." Jose Sebastian added.

"While I was waiting a couple came up to me, they asked if I was waiting for anyone. I told them I was waiting for dad to pick me up." Katerina said with a sigh. "I was so young that I couldn't even fight back." She said with a frown.

"The lessons." Alexi said as he realized why his sister was such an addict when it came to her self defense classes.

Katerina nodded, confirming his suspicions.

"Suddenly a gag was placed on my mouth and a sack over my head. I tried to escape, I even kicked one of them, but two adults against a child? I was doomed from the beginning." Katerina explained.

"They called after that." Rebeckah Sebastian said, continuing her daughter's story. "They demanded for money."

"But we knew better, so we spoke to the police and to Benedicto." Jose Sebastian said with a shrug. "We discovered that he owed Benedicto money, so we lied to them. We told them that we would get the King of the underworld to stop chasing them in exchange for our daughter."

"And they believed you?" Cedric asked.

"No, not at first." Jose said, shaking his head. "As we said, no one knew it was Benedicto that was leading the underworld. So we had one of his men call the kidnappers up and to tell them the debt would be dropped if they returned Katerina."

"At that time, they tied me up and refused to feed me." Katerina explained. "I- I-" Katerina struggled to speak as she recalled the horrors she went through.

"You don't have to tell us Katerina." Cedric said with a frown. He didn't want her reliving the painful memories.

"No, I need to do this." Katerina said, shaking her head. "I need to be able to talk about it so that I can move on."

Cedric looked at her with a frown but he let her continue.

"I cried constantly while I was kidnapped and the couple didn't like that, so they often beat me up until I stopped crying or lost consciousness." Katerina explained. "Until one day, they told me I was finally going home. I was so excited and they didn't like that. So they beat me up again till I lost consciousness."

"They told us to leave proof that their debts were forgiven, that was quite simple. It was just a letter with the King of the Underworld insignia. Something Benedicto could easily provide us with." Jose Sebatian explained. "After dropping the document off they told us where to find Katerina. When we got to her we saw her bloody and unconscious in a rundown factory,"

"We thought Katerina was dead." Rebeckah Seabastian explained.

"As part of our plan my men chased after them, I wanted them arrested, and I wanted them to pay. They kidnapped a daughter of the Sebastian family and I had no intention of letting them run free." Jose Sebastian said angrily. "Our people eventually caught up to them, then there was a shootout, they couldn't possibly out gun our people so they tried to drive through the gunmen and the cars, and it worked, unfortunately there was a steep cliff and they drove right off of it."

"So they died trying to escape?" Cedric asked.

"Yes." Jose Sebastian said with a nod. "If you ask me they got away too easily, had they lived I would have shown them what hell on earth truly meant."

"Cedric, what does Rene Ty have to do with anything?" Emilio Reyes asked his son. "The man belongs to the past. He is long dead, so why does it feel like you are digging up a dead man's grave?"

"Rene Ty and his wife might have died that day, but someone lived on for them." Cedric said with a frown. "Rene and Sonia had a son, he went missing right after he died. It wasn't just the Lims that were looking for him, the Carpios were too."

"What does my family have to do with this?" Calathea asked.

"Everything." Cedric said with a frown. "This will probably haunt you Calathea."

"What?" Calathea asked.

"Sonia Ortiz - Ty, is your mother's cousin. Making you and -" Cedric said until he was cut off by Calathea.

"No fucking way!" Calathea said with a disgusted expression. She had dated Aiden so many things had happened between them, things relatives shouldn't be doing.

"Making what?" Nicole asked as she looked at Calathea curiously.

"Rene and Sonia's son was named Aiden, and when his parents passed away he was adopted by his maternal grandfather." Cedric explained. "Aiden Ortiz, is Amanda Lobo's suitor and the current CEO of Regis Inc."

"I dated my cousin." Calathea said in shock.

"I hope you didn't do anything more than making out." Katerina said with a laugh, despite the situation she still didn't like Calathea and she wasn't planning to let a moment like this just pass by.

"Aiden Ortiz is behind everything, he has been dating Jen Pelaez from the very beginning. He and Jen set Alexi and Selina up as part of his revenge on the Sebastian family." Cedric explained. "He won't come after the Lims since he thinks you guys have no chance of recovering. As for the Laurences this is our chance to avoid another incident. We are finally a step ahead of him."

"If that's the case then we need to have eyes on him." Benedicto Laurence said.

"I've already had people looking for him, but he is nowhere to be found at this moment." Cedric explained. When they had arrived he asked Leon to send people to search for Aiden, but Leon's men still hadn't found him.

"Sir, sir." As if on cue Leon rushed into the living room where everyone had gathered.

"You've found Aiden?" Cedric asked in a proud tone.

"Yes, sir -" Leon said before Cedric cut him off.

"Good, I want him brought in for questioning." Cedric said.

"Sir, it's your mother. Mrs. Reyes has been shot and is badly wounded." Leon quickly said shocking everyone in the room.
