"What did she want you to do?" Alexi said as he burst into the room.

When Paola saw him a look of fear quickly crossed her face, it seemed that she didn't expect Alexi to be there.

Alexi walked up to Paola and picked her up by the collar, he was on the muscular side so picking Paola up was not difficult for him.

"And who is this boyfriend you are talking about?" Alexi asked as he slammed Paola against the wall.

Cedric didn't know if Alexi was mad because Jen had a different boyfriend or if he was mad that he was played for a fool, probably a mix of both, since Alexi was now fuming with rage.

"Alexi put her down." Ray said as he walked over and placed a hand on his friend's shoulder.

Alexi did as Ray asked and dropped Paola.

"We have men to do the dirty work." Ray said with a nod as his men picked Paola Rodriguez up and dropped her back in her seat.

"Alexi asked you a question." Ray said as he leaned against the wall. "Will you answer it?"

"I don't know who the man was." Paola stuttered. "She just came with him and they were all over each other. He was scary, almost as scary as Mr. Laurence or Mr. Reyes. He had an aura, a powerful aura around him. She didn't say his name, she just kept calling him honey."

"What else?" Cedric asked in a calmer tone.

"She said he was powerful, that he could get to me and to my parents. Then he -" Paola began to sob as she recalled what had happened. "- he took a knife and slit my boyfriend's throat." Paola broke down as she said the last few sentences.

"We need to find out who that man is." Cedric said to Ray and Alexi.

Alexi simply nodded and left, slamming the door. He was clearly not happy about what he had just learned from Paola.

As Alexi left two bodyguards from the Reyes Family entered and waited for Cedric's orders.

Cedric looked down at Paola, she had done something wrong yet she didn't really have a choice. He was sure that she was worried that Jen and her mystery boyfriend would take her life too if she chose not to do as they asked. A part of him pitied the woman.

"If you have anything else to say, my men will be watching you 24/7." Cedric told Paola as he walked over to check on her.

"I thought I was going to be released." Paola pleaded in a weak voice. "Please I need to get back to my family. Jen, she'll hurt them."

"You've seen the boss' face, you won't be let out that easily." A bodyguard explained.

Cedric simply nodded, agreeing with what the man had said.

"Don't worry about your family, I need to have them watched after." Cedric said, a part of him hoped that it would at least put her mind at ease. "As for Jen, do you think she will be able to escape the wrath of Alexander Sebastian?" Cedric asked.

"Sir, Mr. Reyes, Mr. Sebastian is powerful, but something about this boyfriend of hers seemed much worse. He seemed even more dangerous." Paola said as tears continued to stream from her eyes.

"We will handle it." Ray said in a cold tone.

"Take her to a cell. I'll have someone check on her." Cedric ordered, to which his men simply nodded and picked Paola Rodriguez up by the arms and dragged her out of the interrogation room.

"Are you seriously still going to have her assessed medically?" Ray asked as he gripped Cedric's arm tightly. He normally didn't have people checked after an interrogation.

"She isn't one of the thugs and spies you normally interrogate, Ray." Cedric explained with a sigh. "Her father is a known banker, she is even quite famous around some circles. If she dies because of us, or sustains any permanent injuries because of this, it will come to haunt us in the end."

Ray couldn't help but agree, he was being ruled by his anger. This woman not only hurt Alexi and Selina, but she was also involved in upsetting his wife, and Ray spoiled his wife. To see her sad because of what happened broke his heart, and no matter how petty it sounded he wanted to get justice for her.

Cedric and Ray returned to the observation room to find Jose Sebastian reprimanding his son.

"Why would you lose your temper like that? What if you killed her?" Jose asked Alexi. "If it's for your damn pride I don't care. That's a person's life, she was forced to do what she did, it's not entirely her fault."

"I'm sorry dad." Alexi said with a frown.

Cedric was surprised with Jose's words, he knew that the elder Sebastian was quite brutal when it came to people who had crossed him, but his uncle had a point. It wasn't entirely Paola's fault.

"Miguel, can you check up on her?" Cedric asked as the miracle doctor sat and observed the argument between father and son. "I want to make sure that we didn't go too far."

"Sure, where?" Miguel asked as he got up.

"Leon will take you to her, he is waiting outside." Cedric explained. "Leon will stay with you as you give her a check up. I don't want her to get any ideas and try to harm you."

"Don't worry Cedric, I can handle myself." Miguel said with a wink.

"Miguel, I'm serious." Cedric said as he stopped his friend from leaving.

"I will take Leon with me inside. Relax." Miguel said with a smile as he left the room.

"We need to look into who this mysterious boyfriend is." Alexi said as he finally managed to calm down.

"Alexi, it won't be easy. We have no leads." Cedric said, shaking his head.

"It's impossible that we can't find him." Alexi argued.

"Wait, wait. I know who can help us." Eric suddenly said as he sat up from the couch in the room. He had been keeping silent as he was busy trying to assess Paola's mental state.

"Who? Do you know some top notch detective that we don't?" Alexi asked.

"I don't but, but Katerina might have a better idea who the person is." Eric said with a shrug. "She's been having Jen watched for quite a while now."
