"Do you know who I am?" Ray asked as he entered the interrogation room.

"Yeah, you're that rich kid, Raymund Laurence. My family does business with your wife." Paola Rodriguez said as she followed Ray with her eyes.

"You aren't afraid of me?" Ray asked as he glared at her.

"You're just rich." Paola scoffed as she observed Ray's reaction.

Ray simply grinned and gave Paola an amused look.

"What's a rich boy like you gonna do?" Paola asked. "My family does business with your wife, you won't dare hurt me." The tied up woman boasted.

"Do you think your father matters to people like the Reyeses?" Ray said with a maniacal laugh making Paola shrink in her seat.

"Ray, you don't need to scare our guest." Cedric said as he entered the room.

"Who are you?" Paola asked as she glared at the well dressed man. She knew almost all of the important people in the country but this man came out of nowhere and she couldn't recognize him.

"Well, seeing as you probably will never get out of here, may I, brother?" Ray asked with a grin.

Paola's eyes shot towards Cedric, now she seemed scared.

"You may, I guess." Cedric said with a shrug.

"You see Miss Rodriguez, you might think I would get intimidated by you mentioning my wife, but her brother would definitely not." Ray said with a malicious smile as he pointed towards Cedric.

Cedric simply shrugged and took a seat next to Ray.

"No, impossible." Paola said as she tried to get away from Cedric.

"I highly suggest you tell us the truth Miss Paola." Cedric said as he glared at Paola. "I might be nice now, but I won't be if you refuse to give me what I want. And I always get what I want."

Paola's eyes grew wide at Cedric's threat. He was sure though that behind the soundproof glass his father, uncle, and his friends were laughing. He rarely let this side of him show, so it was quite odd for them.

"I- don't even know why I'm here." Paola stuttered as she tried desperately to say she was innocent.

"Give it a shot Ray." Cedric said as he leaned back on his seat.

"Miss Rodriguez, have you ever heard of the king of the underworld?" Ray asked as he stood and walked over to the door.

Paola nodded vigorously as her eyes followed Ray.

"Good, so you know that the King should never be offended?" Ray asked.

Paola nodded again.

"Miss Rodriguez, you have offended me." Ray said coldly. Even Cedric was shocked at his tone.

Ray opened the door and two large men entered, they were clearly Ray's men from the gangs and wouldn't care about the law.

"You see Miss Rodrguez, I don't like people hurting my friends." Ray said as the men walked over to Paola. "Alexi and Selina are very good friends of mine."

"Sir, please, please." Paola begged as one of the men dragged her to the side.

"I'll have them deal with you for now." Ray said as he watched his men take her away. "I expect you to be much more cooperative later."

"Will this work?" Cedric asked as he tried to block out Paola's screams, he did not want to know what Ray's men were doing to extract information from her.

"It should." Ray said with a nod. "If it doesn't you can always threaten her family. Their status clearly means something to her."

"She will never see them again after this anyway." Cedric said with a sigh. He planned to send Paola Rodriguez as far away as possible.

"Will you go after them?" Ray asked as they heard Paola's screams in the background.

"Depends." Cedric said with a shrug. "If they were involved then I won't let them loose, if they are innocent, then there is no need to involve them."

"Majesty." One of Ray's men said as he returned. "She's ready to speak."

"Wow, that was fast." Ray said in surprise. "Bring her back then."

The two large men returned with a barely conscious Paola, they were dragging her along the floor as she struggled to stay upright.

"Are you ready to talk?" Ray asked as Paola was thrown onto the chair.

"Yes." Paola said weakly as she struggled to look up at Ray and Cedric.

"What is your relation to Alexi?" Cedric asked as he looked Paola in the eyes.

"I slept with him once." Paola hissed.

Ray stood up and grinned. "The truth, bitch." As he said that a slap landed on her face from one of his men.

"Ray, not the face, remember?" Cedric said as he raised an eyebrow.

"You heard him." Ray said. "Keep it below the shoulders."

Ray's men nodded and punched Paola in the gut.

"The truth?" Cedric asked.

"Nothing, I am nothing to Mr. Sebastian." Paola said as she struggled to speak. "It was my first time meeting him at the wedding, I wasn't even sure if he was Mr. Sebastian."

"Then why did you claim to be his ex?" Cedric asked.

"She asked me to. She made me. She told me what to say. She gave me that drink to throw on the girl he was with." Paola quickly said, it was clear that she was now taking Cedric and Ray's threat more seriously.

"Who is the woman and why did she give you to do that?" Cedric asked as he glared at Paola.

Paola hesitated, she shrunk back and avoided Cedric's eyes.

"He asked you a question." Ray said in a cold tone. "Do I need my men to convince you to answer?" Ray asked.

"No, no sir." Paola said as she looked up. Cedric saw her eyes were now filled with fear, gone was the prideful woman who had entered the room earlier.

"I'll repeat my question." Cedric said slowly. "Who is the woman and why did she give you to do that?" He asked again, and this time he got a response.

"She said her name was Jen Pelaez, and she threatened to ruin my family, and she can do it, her boyfriend is very powerful." Paola Rodriguez said as she broke down in tears clearly afraid that Jen's threat would now come true.

Cedric and Ray looked at each other, the situation had just become more confusing.

"Alexi is her boyfriend, he is the one you accused." Cedric said.

"Not him, someone else." Paola said, vigorously shaking her head. "She was with someone else when they came to me. He had my boyfriend killed in front of me and they took his body. Please I want to bury him properly. I want to let him rest in peace. Please I'm begging you." Paola cried.
