Alexi placed his head in his hands and shook it vigorously. How could he have acted on those impulses, it was as if it wasn't him. As if he had let his desires take over, it was very unlike him.

He was pulled back from his thoughts when he heard a knock on the door.

"A moment." Alexi called out angrily as he fished out a new pair of pants from his closet.

"Mr. Alexi it's me Dave. The boss asked me to check up on you." Dave said from the otherside of the door.

"How did Cedric know I was here?" Alexi asked as he walked out to the living room in the suite.

"Sir, have you not seen the news?" Dave asked as he passed his phone over to Alexi.

Alexi raised an eyebrow and took the phone. He was shocked when he saw the article, how did this paparazzi make his way up to the top floor. The security here was top notch, no one should have been able to see them.

"Cedric must be furious." Alexi said with a sigh, regret coursed through him as he realized how badly he had messed up their plans.

"No, Mr. Cedric doesn't believe that you would do something like this willingly." Dave said in a somber voice.

"I'm happy my friend trusts me, but I placed our plan at risk, he should be mad at me." Alexi said, shaking his head. "What happened to Jen? Has the bitch seen this?" Alexi asked.

"We don't know." Dave said with a frown. "Jen left the wedding right before the news broke. She was angry at you at Selina when she left. She was shouting that you were cheating on her with Selina. The timing of the news was impeccable. It proved her right."

"She was shouting that? Jen?" Alexi said as he was shocked to hear that Jen would be so outspoken. She was normally meek and quiet.

"Yeah, people eventually stopped and listened in on her argument." Dave explained.

"Who was she arguing with?" Alexi asked.

"Mainly Natalia." Dave said, surprising Alexi.

"You sure it was Natalia, not Katerina?" Alexi asked with a puzzled look on his face. Natalia was his more quiet sister, she rarely got into fights, unlike Katerina who wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty.

"Yup. Adolfo had to calm her down." Dave shrugged. "It was Katerina that managed to talk some sense into her eventually."

Alexi simply nodded. Katerina talking sense into Natalia wasn't out of the ordinary, she was older and was more mature between his two sisters.

"Did Cedric give any instructions on what I should do?" Alexi asked. At the moment he didn't trust himself to make choices. It was his decisions that managed to get them stuck in this situation in the first place.

"He just asked me to find you and check up on you and Selina." Dave explained.

"Right, Selina." Alexi said as he looked at the door to his room. "Give me a moment. I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate you walking in on her in her current condition."

Dave nodded and sat back on the couch as Alexi walked over to the door.

Before opening it he took a deep breath. He wasn't sure what he would find behind those doors, they had just had passionate sex and he was afraid that Selina would be furious at him for taking her that way. Add to that the article that had been released making her out to be a mistress and a thief, taking Alexi away from her former lover and best friend.

The article painted them both in the worst light, making Jen out to be a saint, an angel, the victim of two horrible people who made their decisions based on how much they lusted over another.

Alexi finally mustered up the courage and pushed the door open. It was dark since he had turned the lights off after entering. He didn't want to suddenly wake Selina up by switching on the lights.

He slowly walked up to the side of the bed and knelt next to Selina's sleeping figure.

"Selina, ba-" Alexi caught himself as he was about to call her by the affectionate name he used when they had sex. "Selina, wake up." Alexi gently said as he shook her by the shoulder.

Alexi paused and waited for her to respond, when she didn't he tried once again to wake her up, calling out her name.

"Selina, you have to wake up." Alexi said with a sigh.

When he still got no response he lifted the blanket that was covering her. He was shocked to find her cheeks flushed with a pinkish color. He placed a hand on her face and felt her burning up.

He was quickly thrown into a panic as he ran out and called for Dave.

"Send for Miguel, no Nicole, she needs a female doctor. Selina is burning up." Alexi said quickly. He didn't even wait for Dave to respond as he went to the bathroom and filled the tub with cold water.

From his years being around Miguel he knew that they would need to keep the fever down and a cold bath should help.

With the tub slowly filling up Alexi walked over to the room and removed the blanket off of Selina. He marveled at her body, at the same time he scolded himself for checking her out when she was in such a bad condition.

He leaned down and placed a kiss on her temple.

"I'll make sure you get better, I promise." Alexi said desperately as he hoped Selina would hear him.

He picked her up and took her to the bathroom. He placed her down gently into the tub and leaned her back. He had placed towels at the head of the tub so that she would at least be somewhat comfortable when she woke up.

Alexi felt like it still wasn't enough, he watched as he small figure slowly slipped down. He was worried that her head would fall in and she would drown.

Without thinking Alexi took off his clothes and left only his underwear as he joined Selina in the cold bath.

"Fuck." Alexi cursed as he felt his arousal coming up. How could he think that way when Selina was sick in his arms.

Before he could even think of what to do the bathroom door burst open. Nicole, Miguel, and Cedric walked in.

"Seriously Alexi?" Cedric asked with a frown as he walked back out, clearly pissed off with what he had seen.
