"Where is Alexi and what is wrong with Jen?" Cedric asked as he and Ram entered a meeting room across the grand ballroom.

"I don't know." Ram said with a shrug. "Jen just came in, angrily throwing lies about Alexi. Natalia couldn't take it and almost assaulted Jen."

"Ram, you know Natalia would never hurt anyone." Cedric said, shaking his head.

"Remember when Natalia was younger and Alexi took her favorite toy and she punched him?" Ram asked.

"Yeah, that was hilarious." Cedric said with a grin.

"She looked just like she did that time. Luckily Adolfo was there and he managed to calm her down." Ram explained.

"Okay, fine, so Natalia almost attacked Jen. But what happened before Jen came back? Where did she go?" Cedric asked. "And where is Selina?"

"Okay, okay, I guess I need to go back to the start." Ram said with a worried smile.

"Start with why Alexi left." Cedric said.

"Jen got offended and ran away." Ram explained.

"Who offended her?" Cedric asked as he massaged the space between his eyes. He was getting frustrated that he needed to ask Ram questions to get the answers he needed.

"Well, no one did. Selina was just being frank and we just so happened to support Selina." Ram said with a shrug.

"In short, you guys ganged up on her?" Cedric asked with a sigh as he shook his head.

"We didn't." Ram said in his defense. "Okay, fine. It might have been too much for us to side with Selina. But you know how we all feel about Jen. We just couldn't resist."

"It is crucial that she continues to trust us, to trust Alexi. She needs to know that we don't suspect anything." Cedric said quite angrily.

"Cedric, we didn't say anything bad. For some reason Jen was overly sensitive today." Ram explained. "I think something has been going on between her and Alexi, something that's been making her doubt their relationship."

"Alexi refused to set a wedding date." Cedric said with a sigh. "But I already convinced him to fix that. And if I'm not mistaken he was somewhat intimate with her earlier. They arrived quite late to the reception."

"So why is she still so sensitive?" Ram asked.

"Maybe it's built up stress or worry." Cedric said with a shrug. "So what happened after she ran out?" Cedric asked.

"Alexi didn't exactly run after her immediately. We needed to remind him to go after her." Ram said with a sigh. "He complained a little, but Selina was eventually able to convince him. By the way, do you think there is something going on between Alexi and Selina?"

"Oh Alexi." Cedric complained as he massaged his temples. "At least he went after her. As for Alexi and Selina, I think there are underlying emotions that they have not addressed. Alexi liked Selina, Selina like Alexi, but Selina rejected Alexi because Katerina told her she deserved better. So there is an attraction between them." Cedric explained.

"That complicates things." Ram said with a sigh.

"I know. So after Alexi went after Jen what happened?" Cedric asked.

"Well, nothing." Ram said with a shrug. "We just chatted with the twins while Natalia and Adolfo talked about some big project they could both work on, I honestly have no idea what's the deal with those two by the way. Are they dating or are they just friends?"

"None of our business Ram. And you're getting distracted again." Cedric scolded. He knew that there was a relationship deeper than friendship between Adolfo and Natalia, but he never bothered to ask either of them. He simply assumed that he would find out eventually.

"Oh, right." Ram said, scratching his head. For a CEO he was quite easily distracted. "Anyway, they were gone for the rest of the program and when it was time to eat Selina stood up and went to the ladies room."

"That was when Jen came back?" Cedric asked.

"Yup, but not immediately." Ram explained. "I'm sure she and Alexi ran into Selina in the hallway, that's why she was so angry. From what I could pick up Alexi was being nice to Selina."

"Did you see Alexi or Selina when you went out?" Cedric asked Ram.

"No." Ram said, shaking his head.

"We should ask around. I'll have someone check with Alexi's security team as well. If both he and Selina are missing and people find out, you know what they will assume." Cedric said with a frown.

Cedric quickly called for Dave, Mae, and Leon to go to the meeting room where he and Ram were. He didn't want to bother the others since they should be celebrating Ayanna and Ray's wedding.

"Sir?" Dave said as he entered with Mae and Leon.

"I'm sorry to bother you and Mae today Dave, but I need help with something." Cedric said with a sigh.

"It's not a bother sir." Mae said with a nod.

"I need to know what happened between Alexi leaving the grand ballroom till now." Cedric explained. "Alexi and Selina are nowhere to be found while Jen has walked out."

"I'll check with Alexi's security team." Leon told Cedric. "But sir, I need you to stay in view of the public, preferably in the grand ballroom while we look into this."

"Alright." Cedric said with a nod. "Mae, Dave, I need you to check with both the staff outside as well as the hotel staff if Alexi was spotted anywhere. Also Leon, please check the CCTVs."

"Yes sir." They all said with a nod.

"Your team is too efficient." Ram said, shaking his head.

"Let's go back to the grand ballroom. They will contact us if they find anything." Cedric said as he walked back out and joined the wedding reception.

Cedric sat back down next to Adrianna and let out a sigh. He was worried that Alexi had gone and done something stupid to make Jen so mad. Then again he also found the way Jen was acting to be quite suspicious. She normally wouldn't speak to him or any of the other boys like that.

"What happened?" Adrianna asked in a concerned tone.

Cedric desperately wanted to reach out and hold her in his arms, but there were too many people.

"Alexi and Selina are missing and Jen is acting oddly." Cedric said, without going into the details. "Leon, Dave, and Mae, are already looking for them, but I'm worried. I don't know if Alexi is thinking with his head or his dick."

"Cedric!" Adrianna scolded. "Our son is right over there."

"I'm sorry. It's just very frustrating." Cedric said with a sigh as he shook his head.

"You'll sort it out. I'm sure of it." Adrianna said with a smile. "Before I forget, Ace passed by and said he needed to speak to you urgently."

"I'll give him a call tomorrow morning. He'll probably be in the office anyway." Cedric told Adrianna.

"Oh my." Veronica gasped as she looked at her phone. "Cedric, I found Alexi."
