When Ayanna arrived at the rooftop she was greeted by Katerina and Francesca waiting for her.

"Hey Katerina, Francesca." Ayanna said as she sat down and called over a waiter to take her order.

"You aren't surprised that Francesca is here?" Katerina asked.

"No. I bumped into Ram at R Tower. He told me you guys were, errrr… bonding." Ayanna told them.

"What are the boys up to now?" Veronica asked as she and Nicole arrived.

"Well, I'm kind of involved in it cause it was my idea to begin with." Ayanna said with a sigh.

"Ooooh, what is it?" Nicole asked as she sat down.

"Well…" Ayanna hesitated, she wasn't sure if she should tell Katerina, then again it would be good for Katerina to know that Calathea was no longer a threat to her relationship with Eric.

"Spill." Veronica said.

"Calathea is dating the new CEO of Regis Inc. and we think she might be the key in finding out what the Carpio family is up to." Ayanna said quickly.

"Calathe is dating someone?" Katerina said as a smile crept up her face.

"Yeah." Ayanna said with a nod.

"You are sure about this?" Katerina asked.

"Yup, Cedric saw it himself when he went for an interview in Regis Inc." Ayanna told them.

"Wait, what, is Cedric crazy?" Katerina asked. "If Calathea saw him it would make him and the whole company look bad. Couldn't he just have paid someone to do it?"

"You know my brother." Ayanna said with a shrug.

"Anyway, so who is the CEO?" Veronica asked, eager to hear more.

"That's the thing, he is as mysterious as Cedric." Ayanna explained. "So we sent spies to trail Calathea, I mean, they are a couple, they are bound to go on a date, or meet up somewhere."

"Well, not necessarily." Katerina said slowly. "Eric and I are a couple, but we would never be seen together. That's why we always meet up where we would normally go and it wouldn't be suspicious for both of us to be. Like at Lights, and there is of course our home. The community is gated, people know he lives in that community, they just don't know which house, and they can't find out since it's so exclusive that the public won't be able to get inside."

"So are you saying they could be having dates at the office or wherever Calathea is living at right now?" Ayanna asked.

"Yeah, and even if they do go to a public place I'm sure it's set up in such a way that others cannot easily get in." Katerina said with a shrug.

"Where does Calathea live at right now?" Nicole asked.

"At a high end condominium owned by the Carpios." Ayanna said, Cedric had already investigated where she was living so that their people could trail her.

"Then it's possible that the CEO also lives in that building. I mean think about it, why isn't Calathea living at the Carpio Mansion. It's really beautiful and quite empty right now. She wouldn't have to deal with a lot of people." Veronica said as she thought of the situation.

"The only way to find out is to get a list of who owns the top floors. They are usually the best units in buildings like those. If my guess is right, she will own the top floor and the new CEO would probably own the unit below." Katerina told Ayanna.

"I need to tell my brother." Ayanna said as she took out her phone and called Cedric.

"We have a theory." Ayanna excitedly told her brother. She quickly recounted their theory about Calathea and the CEO living in the same building.

"Wait let me put you on speaker." Ayanna said as she placed her phone on the table.

"Okay. So I can get someone to investigate that building. It will be difficult since it's one of the Carpio's high end developments so security will be tight." Cedric explained. "But of course, it's not impossible. Ian can probably hack into their records."

"Ian?" Nicole asked suspiciously.

"He didn't tell you?" Cedric asked over the phone with a laugh.

"No. Is he there?" Nicole asked.

"Yep, he just heard that. He said he's on the way to pick you up." Cedric was laughing even harder now, it seemed to be an issue between the couple.

"Ayanna, darling, can I pick you up now?" Ray asked in a sweet tone over the phone.

"I told you I wanted to spend time with my friends." Ayanna complained.

"Please." Ray said sweetly over the phone.

"You know you're using my phone to flirt with my sister." Ayanna heard Cedric say making her laugh.

"Fine." Ayanna said in surrender.

"Great I'll call you when I get there." Ray said as he dropped the call.

"Were we even done talking to Cedric?" Veronica asked with a laugh.

"I guess we are." Katerina shrugged.

"Crap, I'm going to be late." Veronica said as she jumped up in her seat.

"What's the rush?" Katerina asked with a frown. She was hoping that Veronica could stay with her and Francesca.

"Well, this is embarrassing, but I guess I should tell you girls. Miguel and I are trying to have a kid, and well, we're going to visit an OB-GYN to, you know, check." Veronica said with a blush.

"Oh, I'm so excited! More babies!" Ayanna had always loved kids, as a matter of fact she spent most of her time at home playing with her nephew Emilio.

After Veronica left, Nicole's phone began to ring, it seemed Ian had sped on over as soon as he had gotten her mad. Maharlika Hotel wasn't far from R Tower so it was no surprise that he got there quickly.

"Ray should arrive soon too. I'll head down with Nicole." Ayanna said as she waved goodbye to Katerina and Francesca.

When all the other girls had left, Katerina sighed and leaned back on her seat.

"Are you still mad?" Katerina asked Francesca who had been wearing a frown the whole time they were at Maharlika.

"I needed you and you disappeared Katerina, but no, that was years ago and I have moved on." Francesca said with a smile.

"Okay, then let me explain why I disappeared." Katerina said with a grim look in her eyes.
