Alexi pulled Jen closer to him as his alarm went off, he didn't want to get up just yet. He wanted to stay like this, with Jen in his arms and he could pretend that they were a real couple.

"Mmmm… You have work." Jen said as she stirred in his arms.

"I do, but give me a moment to enjoy this." Alexi said as he began to plant kisses all over her.

"Alexi, if you're late for work people won't vote for you." Jen complained as she tried to get him out of bed.

"I'm never late, baby. I'm always early." Alexi said with a laugh. He always made it a point to be there at least an hour before any hearing or meeting or event. Despite being brought up in a princely manner, he never liked making people wait for him, nor did he enjoy the special attention he was always given because of who his father was.

"Alexi, aren't you tired? You were a beast last night." Jen groaned as turned her back on him.

Alexi moved closer to her as he rubbed himself against her. "Does this answer your question?" Alexi whispered seductively into her ear.

"You pervert!" Jen shouted.

"But aren't you with me mainly for this?" Alexi teased. He knew it was a sore spot between them, but he couldn't resist.

"I agreed to give it a shot last night didn't I?" Jen complained as she felt Alexi's hand roaming her body once more. "Alexi, we can't do this now."

"But, don't you want it baby." Alexi said as he began to kiss and suck on her neck.

"Don't you dare leave a mark." Jen threatened as he could feel Alexi's lust.

"What if I leave it somewhere no one can see?" Alexi teased as he lowered his body to her chest.

"Alexi!" Jen complained.

"You're right. I need to take a bath." Alexi said as he sat up.

Jen relaxed as she felt him leaving the bed and leaving her alone. She yelled in surprise when Alexi suddenly picked her up and carried her to the bathroom with him.

"Alexander Sebastian! Put me down!" Jen shouted.

"You're not escaping me that easily baby." Alexi said as he carried her into the bathroom. He had every intention of having fun with her in there as well.

After their bath Jen was exhausted, Alexi smiled as he dried her and placed her back on his bed. He wished he could see this sight every night, his gorgeous woman on his bed as he leaves for work.

"Sleep here tonight as well?" Alexi asked as he kissed her on the forehead after dressing up.

"I have the night shift tonight." Jen told him.

"Another VVIP client?" Alexi asked as Jen sat up and fixed his tie.

"Yeah, it's some senator or something. It was a minor surgery but he's hitting on all the nurses." Jen said with a sigh.

"I'm tempted to tell Miguel not to let you work while this patient is there." Alexi said as his eyes turned dark, one of the many things he discovered about himself while being with Jen was that he was an overprotective partner, and that he was extremely jealous.

"You promised not to interfere like last time." Jen complained.

Alexi smiled as he recalled the last time Jen was referring to. She had a young male patient, he was roughly their age and he was quite good looking. Alexi didn't like the way he smiled at Jen or the way she smiled back at him. He got so jealous that he asked Miguel to force Jen not to come to work until the man was well.

Jen was so angry at him that she ran away from his home in the middle of sex and decided to give him the silent treatment for a month.

"Fine, I'll behave." Alexi said as he kissed her on the lips. "But stay here, stop going home to your apartment. I know you like it in my bed." Alexi teased as he continued to kiss her.

"I need my space." Jen said with a sigh. "I'm not even your girlfriend, why should I live with you?"

"We can easily change that." Alexi said with a grin.

"Go leave, go to work." Jen said as she pushed Alexi away with one hand and held the blanket up with the other.

"You don't need to hide your body, I've seen all of it." Alexi said with a wink as he stood up and walked out of his room.

Today he didn't have much work to do, so he was thinking of surprising Jen by taking her out to lunch later. He knew that she would head off to her apartment right after he left, she didn't want to give him the chance to trap her there.

Alexi was on his way to the office when Cedric called him up.

"What's up?" Alexi asked.

"I need your help with something." Cedric said over the phone.

"Go, shoot." Alexi said as he reviewed some documents in the back seat.

"Look into the transactions of the Carpio family with the government. I have a gut feeling about something, it's odd that Calathea is back while the rest of her family is still in Spain." Cedric said.

"Alright. I'll give you a call when I know more." Alexi said as he dropped the call.

In another part of the city Cedric was about to do something dangerous. He stood outside of the Carpio Family's office building, plain clothed and looking like he was there for an interview.

"Are you sure about this?" Leon, who was standing next to him, asked. Cedric had only just recovered and here he was already planning to infiltrate their greatest rival.

"I am. I just feel like there is something odd about Calathea being back in the country." Cedric explained. "You have men placed inside?" Cedric asked. As a precaution Leon had managed to sneak in a few of his men in various temporary roles within the building.

"They're ready." Leon said.

Cedric nodded and walked into enemy territory.
