Adrianna was exhausted from her event, she fell asleep on Cedric's shoulder while Mia drove them home. Cedric ran a finger on her cheek, brushing away a stray strand of hair, he placed a finger on her lips, he wanted so badly to capture it in his own and kiss her.

"Has it been busy for her?" Cedric asked Mia as he looked at his wife.

"There have been some issues in the company, particularly several members of the Hernandez family trying to get back in." Mia explained.

"How long has that been going?" Cedric asked. His wife had never mentioned such a dilemma and he had avoided having his people look into her work, he knew his wife wouldn't appreciate his spying on her.

"A few months sir." Mia confessed.

Cedric nodded and took out his phone. He quickly dialed Ray's number.

"Ced!" Ray greeted happily. Cedric could hear the shouting of several members of the media calling for his friends to turn around so that they could snap a photo of them.

"You're still there?" Cedric asked.

"Yeah. But we're on our way back to Mountain View. Why'd you call?" Ray asked over the noise.

"Some Hernandez family members have been bothering my wife. Find out who." Cedric told Ray.

"Alright." Ray said with a laugh. "Don't you want me to go staight to torture?" Ray asked as the background noise quieted, it seemed that he and Ayanna had finally gotten into his car.

"Not yet. Depends who it is." Cedric was not happy at how the remaining members of the Hernandez family failed to get the message, they were not to approach Adrianna or Island's Inc. he thought he was clear on that.

"I'll have my men look into it. I'll have them roughed up as well." Ray said with a laugh as he dropped the call.

Cedric shook his head. Ray truly had his own and more brutal way of dealing with things, while Cedric prefered to work behind the scenes Ray preferred something more direct.

"Have the security detail around Adrianna increased." Cedric told Mia who nodded in response. "I also want some of her personal guards stationed at the entrance of Island's Inc. don't let any of them near her. Is there any other way that they have tried to approach?" Cedric asked.

"They have tried to speak with Mr. Matthew and Mr. Henry in the past." Mia explained.

"In public or did they go to Raja Tower?" Cedric had moved the title of the Raja Tower unit to his uncle's name and provided a separate one to Henry.

"They tried, but the guards at the building stopped them." Mia explained. "When that failed they cornered Mr. Henry on the street."

"Provide a bodyguard each, also make sure that the facility that Margaret is in is secured. I don't want them to use Margaret as leverage in this. She's been through too much."Despite what Margaret had done, Cedric couldn't fully blame her. She had been so severely affected by her own family throwing her out that it broke her. He only hoped that she could recover soon and return to a normal life.

When they arrived at Mountain View, Cedric gently nudged his wife. When he noticed that she was very much sound asleep, he picked her up in his arms and carried her inside.

He was greeted by the sight of the elders all gathered in the living room, playing with little Emilio.

"She's tired." Cedric said, referring to his wife.

"Alright. You guys go and rest. We'll watch over your son tonight." Priscilla Reyes told Cedric with a gentle smile. "I'll have dinner brought up."

"Thanks mom." Cedric nodded as he brought Adrianna up to their room.

Cedric brought Adrianna to the bathroom, gave her a bath, and changed her clothes. The whole time it took all of his strength not to caress and make love with his wife. He knew that if he gave into temptation he would definitely make her so tired that she wouldn't be able to get up for work the next day.

Despite all his restraint he couldn't help but plant a trail of kisses on her neck as he placed his fully dressed wife on the bed. It seemed that his actions had disturbed her sleep, she began to stir making Cedric laugh.

Out of all the things he had done since she fell asleep in the car, it was his kisses that woke her.

"Are you awake?" Cedric asked to be sure.

"Mmmm." Adrianna mumbled. "Why did you stop?" She asked as she kept her eyes closed.

"Are you sure you want me to continue?" Cedric laughed. "If I keep this up, one of us won't be able to make it to work tomorrow." He said seductively into her ear.

"Fine. I need rest." Adrianna said after thinking about his offer.

"Adri, are you alright?" Cedric asked as he stroked her hair.

"Yeah. Just over worked." Adrianna told him. "Hold me?" She asked as she reached out for his hand.

Cedric obliged and climbed into bed with Adrianna. He pulled her to him as she buried her head in his chest.

"I'm sorry Carlo insulted you earlier." Cedric said in a sweet tone as he combed his fingers through Adrianna's hair.

"We both know what he said isn't true." Adrianna said with a giggle. "He will just look stupid in the end."

"A lot of people heard his accusations during the show. People that matter in your industry." Cedric said as he lifted Adrianna to face him.

"Yeah, but the most important is you." Adrianna sat up and kissed him gently.

Her words stirred something within Cedric. He returned her kiss, full of passion and wanting.

"Are you in a rush to give Emilio a little sister?" Cedric asked as he nibbled her ear lightly.

Adrianna moaned as she kissed his neck.

"Woman, don't tempt me." Cedric threatened.

"I'm not doing anything." Adrianna replied in an erotic voice.

"Remember, you brought this on yourself." Cedric said as his hand wandered around her body.
