Cedric had a lot of work piled up after he took the day off yesterday. He had a lot of Mor Co. documents to sign and several Reyes Group proposals to review. He was reviewing documents in his office Ian knocked and went in with the door slightly ajar.

"Cedric, Marco is here, your dad sent for you." Ian said in a hushed tone. He was avoiding being overheard by the junior assistants, they of course were yet to find out that their co-worker was actually their boss.

"Tell Marco I'll head over on my own." Cedric said, he knew something was up. His father had chosen to send his most trusted man rather than to call, something was out of place.

After a while Ian came in again. "He said to bring us along. It's important."

"What could it be? Is there another issue we didn't detect? I thought we managed to stabilize the stock prices?" Cedric asked Ian wondering about what had happened.

"No, I didn't notice anything suspicious happening. We've been monitoring everything closely since Jam's death and everything has been stable." Ian pointed out as he gathered Cedric's things for him.

"Just bring the laptop in case we have work that needs urgent attention, leave the documents behind." Cedric instructed as he put on his coat and his disguise.

"Alright. I'll tell Camilla to pack up." Ian said.

"Bring the two, if this is a big matter they need to be there, the workload might be too much for just you and Camilla." Cedric said as Ian exited the room.

When he was dressed and ready Cedric went out with Ian, Camilla, Mae, and Dave following him.

"Sir, we sent out a memo to all the department heads that we won't be at Mor Co. for the rest of the day." Camilla told Cedric as they rode the elevator.

"Is there anything urgent?" Cedric asked in a cold and domineering tone.

"No sir, things are calm at the moment." Camilla reported to Cedric.

"How about at the Reyes Group, did you find anything out?" Cedric asked Ian.

"Nothing. Everything seems fine, sir." Ian said.

"What could my father want?" Cedric asked himself as they descended to the underground parking.

The familiar Rolls Royce Ghost and the Rolls Royce Phantom were already waiting for them when they arrived, Camilla motioned for Mae and Dave to ride in the Phantom, while Camilla, Ian, and Cedric would ride in the Ghost.

Mae and Dave were shocked to see that the boss was willing to let them use one of his luxury cars to go to R Tower, Ian saw the hesitation in the two and signaled to Cedric.

"I can't let my people arrive in a cab. Get in." Cedric ordered as he got in the car.

"Do as the boss says." Ian told the two junior assistants as they rushed in.

Their convoy quickly caught people's attention, two luxury cars that were known to be favored by the Reyes Heir and a fleet of vans for security quickly gave away the fact that he was heading to R Tower for something big.

Usually it would only be the one Rolls Royce, with his security team hidden, but today it seemed like they were in too much of a rush to care.

People began to speculate online.

'Do you think it's possible that today's the day?' One user posted.

'No way! It feels too soon! There wasn't even an announcement!' Another replied.

'I work at R Tower, I don't see any press, it could be something else.'

'Maybe he'll introduce his wife?'

'Nah, they protect her worse. I'm starting to think she just lives in his house and never comes out!'

'Do you think something has happened to the CEO?'

'Maybe, possibly.'

'But wouldn't the other people be rushing in too? Like the Laurence family, they are in laws after all.'

'Maybe his wife is pregnant?'

'If that was the case he would be rushing to the hospital not the office.'

'Oh oh, maybe it's like a drama, an illegitimate son appeared!'

'No way, I've seen the Reyes parents they are super in love with one another'

'I vote for the drama! There has to be drama! Their lives can't be this easy!'

While the internet was going crazy with speculations Cedric sat in his car, discussing with Camilla and Ian.

"Is it possible that my father found out about our people outside the house?" Cedric asked Ian.

Ian quickly made a call, everyone was tense until the other person picked up.

"They are fine." Ian said as soon as he ended the call. "Nothing suspicious."

"Then what is it?" Cedric asked as he continued to worry about the reason why his father would suddenly call for him. Even during emergencies his father didn't send Marco over. Sending Marco over was like telling Cedric to get to R Tower as soon as possible because it was something urgent and confidential.

By the time Cedric's cars pulled over at the driveway of R Tower he was already tensed. He took a deep breath and nodded towards Ian to open the door.

As they stepped out they were quickly joined by Mae and Dave, and a crowd had formed outside of R Tower, they were all eagerly waiting to hear why the Reyes Heir was rushing over.

Cedrci's guards directed the bystanders away, giving Cedric and his group a path to pass into the building. Inside every employee that crossed their path bowed and greeted, they all knew that this man would own everything in the Reyes Group someday, and they didn't want to end up offending him.

As they walked up to the elevator a voice suddenly spoke from behind them.

"You too?" Cedric turned to see Ayanna.

"Shouldn't you be at home?" Cedric recalled how she had planned to take the day off so that she could pick her husband up at the airport and go on a date with him.

"Dad sent Marco to get me this morning. He even called Ray to tell him to arrange for his own transportation. What do you think it is?" Ayanna asked her elder brother.

"A problem." Cedric replied as the elevator doors swung open and they got in.
