While Cedric was meeting with the members of the syndicate, Adrianna was resting at home. Since she found out that she was pregnant she noticed that every member of the Reyes family and her own parents treated her as if she were made of glass. She once had the thought that if Cedric could have her carried around everywhere he would do that.

Mia had admitted to Adrianna that Cedric had asked to cut her work time and refuse meetings that ran too late so that Adrianna could go home and rest. In public, she was always secretly accompanied by Mia with some bodyguards not too far away. She also had an assigned driver and the car she rode was specially made to keep her safe.

Adrianna was now five months pregnant and was already showing. Cedric had arranged for her to have her check up every two weeks, he would come home early then they would drive together to the hospital to talk to Dr. Santos. Everytime they would visit they would be greeted by an angry Nicole who scolded Cedric non-stop for being the reason why her boyfriend had little time for her.

Adrianna was lying on her bed when her Uncle Matthew gave her a call.

"Uncle?" Adrianna asked as she picked up the phone.

"Adrianna, your grandfather was looking for you during the last family meeting. Will you be joining us this week?" Uncle Matthew asked. Normally as the new head of the family he didn't need to ask, he just needed to inform her that she had to attend, but Matthew Hernandez had decided to go through a different route. It wasn't just Adrianna that he treated this way, but most of the members of the Hernandez family.

"I think it should be alright uncle. We've missed too many family meetings already." Adrianna was sure Cedric would say no, but she was also sure she could convince him that they should go.

"Great, don't forget to prepare your report. Also I have a new partnership planned that will bring in a lot of profit for the company. We can discuss it tomorrow in the office, the others don't need to know about it yet." Matthew Hernandez told his niece. Another change that Uncle Matthew brought along was that he didn't boast about his success before he was sure about it, new projects and partnerships were only announced to the rest of the family when they had already been guaranteed.

Adrianna sent a quick message to Cedric telling him about her plans to go to the old Hernandez House for the family meeting. She was surprised to see that Cedric replied almost immediately. He wanted to go with her, Adrianna was surprised that he didn't outright reject her plans of going to the Hernandez home.

Adrianna went to her parent's room and knocked before going in.

"Mom, Dad, we're going to the family meeting. Will you come along?" Adrianna asked her parents.

"Sure. I wanna show your aunties my new bag. Priscilla bought it for me last time." Gracia excitedly said as she went into her closet to find the bag.

���Mom, Cedric is still trying to keep his identity a secret. I don't think you should go around boasting about a bag his mother bought for you." Adrianna said as she rolled her eyes at her mom.

"I'll just say you bought it for me. It's not one of the ultra expensive ones she bought anyway." Gracia seemed to be on a mission to fill up her closet at Mountain View, everytime she and Priscilla would arrive home from a shopping trip, it looked like they had emptied out the whole shop they visited.

Adrianna and her family had to wait for an hour before Cedric arrived. When Adrianna saw him she felt bad, she could see from his face that he was visibly exhausted. In the day Cedric would work at the Reyes Group and upon arriving home he would still have some work from Mor Co. to deal with. No special consideration was made for him at the Reyes Group so he would work the full load of an ordinary employee.

"Let's take the Audi." Cedric told Adrianna as he kissed her on the lips and held her hand. No matter how tired or busy Cedric was he made it a point to remain affectionate to his wife.

Even if he was tired Cedric drove them to the Hernandez house, they were later than most of the members so by the time they got there everyone had already eaten. Luckily Adrianna and her parents had also already eaten while they were at Mountain View.

What came as a surprise to Adrianna was that Asia Hernandez was there seated next to her mother. Asia was already eight months pregnant and she looked like she was ready to pop.

Adrianna went up to her grandfather and gave him a tight hug.

"My Adrianna. I'm so happy you're here." Grandpa Hernandez said with a smile.

"Grandpa, did you hear, I'm five months pregnant." Adrianna happily told him.

Grandpa Hernandez simply nodded and did not congratulate her. Adrianna knew what this meant, it meant he was still not happy with Cedric and this baby would complicate things on getting her to separate from Cedric.

Cedric who was standing behind Adrianna didn't care about her grandfather's reaction. What mattered to him was Adrianna, as long as she was happy he was happy as well. Plus he could just imagine the reaction the whole Hernandez clan would have when they found out who he truly was.

When Adrianna and Cedric finally took their seats the family meeting began. Like always Uncle Matthew reported the company conditions as well as their future plans, Adrianna explained further on the things that were under her department.

After matters about Island's Inc. were discussed Asia suddenly stood up.

"Grandpa, my in-laws are treating me horribly!" Asia complained.

"Asia, it was your choice to marry into the Chu family in such a disgraceful way." Uncle Matthew said, reprimanding his niece. The Chu family was not a family they could easily offend and Asia's allegations were like having a deathwish.

"You're saying that when my husband wants to make my cousin his mistress! How can I live like this? My husband wants my married cousin when he is already married to me!" Asia shouted.

"Asia, what are you saying?" Henry Hernandez asked his younger sister.
