"We need to prepare for the wedding!" Ayanna giggled excitedly.

"Don't you have to prepare for yours too?" Miguel asked Ayanna. ​​

"The two of you are getting married first so we have to prepare for that! Plus the whole world knows Anna as Veronica, there are going to be a whole lot of shocked people when they see your wedding photos." Ayanna giggled.

"Not as much as when they find out that Adrianna has been married to the Reyes Heir this whole time." Eric teased.

"I think Veronica might be more famous." Miguel said with a serious tone.

"So defensive." Eric teased his brother again.

"Brother, can Adrianna come with us?" Ayanna asked.

"It all depends on what the doctor says. I have to leave in a while. I'll catch you guys later." Cedric said as he left.

When Cedric arrived at Saints Hospital, Adrianna wasn't there yet. So he worked while waiting in the car. When she finally arrived the couple walked into the hospital.

Doctor Santos did a routine check on Adrianna and the baby, the baby was healthy and now over four months old.

"Do you want to know the gender?" Doctor Santos asked the couple.

"No need Doc." Cedric said. The doctor nodded and proceeded to remind the couple on what they could and couldn't do as well as what kind of food Adrianna should eat and avoid.

After their appointment they found Nicole waiting for them outside Doctor Santos' office.

"Nicole, it doesn't look dignified for the VP to be waiting like a little girl outside an office." Cedric teased.

"Oh, Ced. Ummmm. Can I ride with you? Ayanna said we could have dinner at your place." Nicole asked.

"Sure. What's up with the shy tone?" Cedric asked when he realized that Ian was walking towards them.

"Nicole, I think it will be too tight in the car." Cedric said, loud enough for Ian to hear.

"Ian, please give Nicole a ride to my house, and please join us for dinner as well." Cedric told Ian who simply nodded in reply.

"But there are only two of them in the car?" Nicole said as Adrianna and Cedric left.

"She could have ridden with us." Adrianna told Cedric as they walked away.

"Yes, but why take away the opportunity from Ian?" Cedric asked with a wink.

"So the Chans aren't all in arranged marriages?" Adrianna asked Cedric.

"Only Miguel. Eric is like the black sheep that refuses to follow. It's a miracle they haven't disowned him. But of course there are expectations on the people they should marry. Like must marry like, that's what they always tell us." Cedric explained to Adrianna as they got into the car.

It was dinner by the time Cedric and Adrianna got back to Mountain View. Ayanna had the help set up the back patio for dinner and it seemed like it was a mini celebration as the back was filled with young people laughing.

The only elders among the group were Emilo, Priscilla, Charles, and Gracia. They stayed at a separate table, chatting and relaxing among themselves.

"How's the little one?" Priscilla asked when she saw the couple arrive.

"Healthy." Adrianna said with a smile.

"Did you find out the gender today?" Gracia asked.

"No mom. We decided to wait." Cedric said in a kind tone. Over the past month Gracia's attitude had changed tremendously, Cedric knew that it was, of course, due to her learning about his true identity.

"It doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl. We'll love it equally." Emilio Reyes said with a warm smile. "Go, join the others. You two should spend less time working and more time with your friends."

"So what did the doctor say? Can Adri plan a wedding with us?" Ayanna excitedly asked as she moved over to let her brother and sister in law sit.

Adrianna looked at Cedric with a questioning look.

"Veronica and Miguel need to get married in three months, Ayanna and Ray, well they need to plan a wedding. Is that even pushing through? Are you just gonna spend my money to call it off?" Cedric asked Ayanna.

"Can I give you an answer later on?" Ayanna asked her brother.

"No spending on yours till you know you're actually getting married. You can help with Veronica's." Cedric told his sister.

The group was already eating by the time Ian and Nicole arrived.

"What took you so long?" Cedric teased the couple.

"It wasn't like that!" Nicole shouted. She was blushing and looked very shy when they arrived.

"Ha! Anyone that can get my sister to keep quiet is good in my books!" Eric proudly said.

"Brother!" Nicole complained.

"What? Don't you want us to approve of your new beau?" Miguel teased his sister.

"Stop it, Miguel." Veronica scolded.

"Fine." Miguel said, rolling his eyes.

Everyone laughed at his expression.

The girls ended up sitting together, planning Veronica's wedding. Katerina and Natalia had arrived earlier while Cedric and Adrianna were in the hospital. Katerina seemed to be the most excited among the girls which seemed completely out of character for her.

"Hey Eric. Katerina seems eager to plan a wedding." Alexi teased.

"Stop it Alexi, that was a long time ago." Eric said with a sigh.

"I'm just saying. Katerina seems too eager." Alexi said with a laugh.

"Do you think Veronica will go with this wedding peacefully?" Ray asked Miguel.

"No. I'm still thinking of a way for her not to completely give in to her parents demands." Miguel said with a sigh.

"How about you Ray, are you serious about my sister?" Cedric asked in a serious tone.

"Don't use that tone on us Cedric, it's scary." Ray said with a nervous laugh. "But yes. All I need is for her to take this engagement seriously."

"You're paying." Cedric said.

"What? You're richer than me!" Ray complained.

"A wedding won't make you poor. Plus I still owe Adrianna a wedding. It will be better than any of yours!" Cedric declared with a grin.
