The Hernandez family ended up waiting throughout the night and until afternoon the next day for grandpa Hernandez to be taken out of the recovery room and back to his room. He was faintly conscious and seemed to be doing better.

"Dad. How are you feeling?" Matthew Hernandez asked. ​​

"Better." Grandpa Hernandez said weakly.

"Based on the results of our tests he should make a full recovery within a week. He'll be feeling a bit faint for the next few days, so the hospital prepared a nutritious meal to help him recover." Jo explained to the Hernandez family.

"Thanks Jo." Adrianna said with a smile.

"Adri, you know the nurse?" Gracia Hernandez asked her daughter.

"Jo's a good friend of Cedric. They went to high school together. Right Jo?" Adrianna asked.

Jo simply nodded in reply.

When they were sure that grandpa Hernandez was doing well Adrianna's family said goodbye to everyone and left. While they were in the lobby of Saints Hospital Adrianna stopped her parents and pulled them to the side.

"Mom, Dad. Cedric and I have a confession to make." Adrianna said.

"Are you pregnant?" Charles asked his daughter.

"No dad." Adrianna laughed.

"Mom, Dad. I've lied to you all these years. The truth is, back when I was fifteen I ran away from home. That's why you've never met my family. They found out that I'm married and they would like to meet you." Cedric said with his fingers crossed. Hoping that his in laws would believe him.

"I knew you were keeping something from us!" A pissed off Gracia Hernandez said.

"When will we meet them?" Charles Hernandez asked, ignoring his wife.

"What about tomorrow for dinner?" Cedric asked.

"Sure." Charles said in agreement.

"Is that where you guys have been staying?" Gracia Hernandez asked.

"Yes mom. So stop worrying. Cedric and I will pick you up tomorrow night." Adrianna said.

"Alright." Gracia nodded.

The older couple then left the hospital while Cedric and Adrianna waited for their car and driver.

When they got home and told the Reyeses about the plan, Priscilla and Emilio were excited, Ayanna on the other hand was not too pleased.

"I'm sorry sister in law, but your parents never treated my brother kindly." Ayanna said.

"It's my fault Ayanna. I should have stopped them." Adrianna said.

Ayanna simply nodded and headed up to bed.

The elder couple together with Cedric and Adrianna sat down to discuss the plan to meet with Adrianna's parents the next day.

"I hope you don't hate my parents too." Adrianna shyly told her in laws.

"They weren't ideal and of course we aren't happy with them, but how you deal with the way they treated Cedric in the past should be enough. I'm sure you've seen by now that Cedric doesn't take offenses against him lightly." Emilio Reyes said.

Emilio understood Cedric's desire for revenge as well as the confusion on what to do when it came to the Hernandez family. On one hand they had treated him horribly, on the other they were Adrianna's family. It was a difficult position to be in.

"Adrianna, no matter what, I know Cedric will put you first." Priscilla told Adrianna with a smile.

"I trust him mom. And it also isn't fair what he had to go through because of his love for me. He could have left at anytime and just come back after his 28th birthday. I love Cedric and Cedric alone." Adrianna said with a smile.

"You're so sappy and emotional today." Cedric said hugging and kissing his wife on the lips.

"Ced, not in front of mom and dad!" Adrianna complained.

"We are husband and wife. Why can't I show my affection for you in front of my parents?" Cedric teased.

"The more affectionate the two of you are, the sooner we can have grandkids!" Emilio laughed.

Adrianna blushed. Her family never teased her about having children in the past, so this was something new to her.

After a long day Cedric and Adrianna finally climbed into bed.

Cedric kissed Adrianna passionately and Adrianna kissed him back.

"Why don't we work on those grandkids my parents were asking for?" Cedric teased, kissing her neck.

"You're still injured." Adrianna said as she brushed a stray strand of hair on Cedric's face.

"Well if you do all the work then my injuries won't get any worse." Cedric reasoned with a grin.

"It still might get worse. Let's wait for Miguel's clearance that you are better." Adrianna told her husband.

"Adri, if we ask Miguel if we can make love he will tease us." Cedric laughed.

"Go to sleep honey. We have a long day tomorrow." Adrianna said turning her back and going to sleep.

Cedric hugged his wife from behind.

The next day for the first time in almost a month Adrianna and Cedric left home together to go to work. Due to his injuries Cedric couldn't drive, so a driver took them to work that day in one of the Reyes' least expensive cars.

Cedric spent the whole morning in meetings catching up to what he had missed due to recent events. With the help of Ram Abad they had managed to keep both the car accident and grandpa Hernandez's illness under wraps. This helped protect the stability and stock prices for both the Reyes Group and Island's Inc.

At lunch Adrianna called Cedric.

"I'm nervous." Adrianna said over the phone.

"About tonight?" Cedric asked.

"I'm worried about how my parents will react." Adrianna confessed.

"It will be alright, honey." Cedric said in an attempt to comfort his wife.

Due to their busy schedule the next time the couple got to talk was when Cedric came to pick Adrianna up.

"Here we go." Adrianna said, taking a deep breath.

Cedric and Adrianna picked her parents up at home. Charles and Gracia were surprised to see that Cedric had a driver and that he was so well dressed.

"You really pulled all the stops for tonight, didn't you." Charles teased his son in law.

Adrianna just laughed nervously.

As they got closer to the Reyes House, Cedric held Adrianna's hand to comfort her. He could feel that his wife was worried.

When the car reached the gates of the Reyes House, Gracia Hernandez looked out confused.

"Where are we?" She asked.

"At my parent's house." Cedric calmly answered.

"Mom, Dad. Cedric's parent's names are Emilio and Priscilla Reyes. They own Reyes Group." Adrianna said as they drove up the luxurious driveway.

Charles and Gracia Hernandez were stunned. They had no time to question what Adrianna had just said as the car had just pulled up at the entrance.

Leon came over and opened the door for his boss while the driver opened the other door.

"Welcome!" Priscilla Reyes greeted.

Charles and Gracia were speechless.
